Reviews
(1-25 of 45)- Host Meetings
- Share screens and content
- Pause sharing
- Recording Meetings
- Call quality and stability
- Meeting creation platform could be improved
- Recording mechanism is slow and pop-up gets in the way
My favourite feature is that GoTo Meeting allows for the Pausing of screensharing. When I have to quickly change the screen and carry out activities that the client doesnt need to every step off, it allows my to pause the screen we were last on rather than just showing a blank screen.
It allows for slicker demos.
I think it struggles with recording in places, the meeting creation platform could be improved greatly.

- Calls are clear
- Once the meeting is started, the video conferencing are generally smooth as long as the internet connection is good.
- The desktop app is clunky.
- Takes a long time to load.
- Makes you re log in every hour or so
- When loading the video meeting, it takes a long time to establish a connection
- virtual video backgrounds don't look great or smooth
- phone app is also clunky and takes a long time to load
Sharing my experience with Goto Meeting.
- User-friendly with simple UI
- Easy setup for ongoing collaboration.
- The ability to join meetings without the need for an account, app download, or login credentials simplifies the user experience.
- Web browser quality falls short compared to the mobile and desktop apps.
- sometimes lags during screen sharing.
- The admin center can be more user friendly by adding more features.
It's cheaper than Zoom with some extra features but overall just ok
We also use GoToWebinar for our quarterly company-wide town hall meetings. This allows the president and CEO to update all employees on the happenings of the company.
- Cost
- Enables you to collect more data at registration which Zoom doesn't
- You have to download an app that doesn't work well in order to blur the speakers and hosts background. I tried the third party app a few times, but its terrible.
- I think the Customer service is ok
- In my opinion, if you don't have the latest updates to your computer, it won't run properly.
- Sometimes the host video doesn't appear.
Simple, Efficient, and Easy to Use
- Goto meeting delivers high-quality audio and video, which ensures clear communication even in virtual environments.
- The mobile app allows users to join meetings on the go, ensuring flexibility for participants who may not always be at their desktop computers.
- virtual backgrounds and appearance settings are useful.
- I would say providing more options for customization in the user interface, such as the ability to rearrange or hide certain elements, could enhance the user experience.
- I also did not find any option to fix the camera angle as it showed me in mirror or flipped way which is weird.
- Sharing screen from phone is also not much user friendly.
GoTo Meeting is a decent virtual meeting solution
- Audio quality
- scheduling
- Sending out links for meetings
- Video quality
- cancelling out other noises ( dog barks etc).
- cost
a great product from a trusted vendor. A+
- platform-agnostic - pretty much everyone can use it
- intuitive user interface - even the tech illiterate were able to make it work
- some of the sharing settings were a bit cumbersome
- enhanced support for recording the meeting would be awesome
Great tool but has it's disavantages!
The interface and UI are easy and simple to use, with very little direction at first glance. Our team uses it to stay connected throughout our organization. Many of us are remote some days so it's easy to stay in the loop.
- Video Conferencing
- Presentations
- App Intergration
- UI Improvements
- Updated features
- Screen sharing capabilites
Ok tool, did not stick with us!
- Remote control option
- video conferencing for large teams
- transcription
- Not as reliable in slower networks
- No free plan
- Whiteboards and screensharing can be better
- Easy to set up
- Control the meeting
- Easy to share with customers
- Customers are familiar with it
- Little bit of a learning curve

- Screen sharing
- Connectivity
Easy to use, reliable and fairly cheap video conferencing!
- Simplicity of use
- Sharing slides and other content during calls
- You can record meetings not matter the length
- Mobile app is a little slow.
- The software of the app has to be downloaded before someone can join a meeting. This makes it a bit time-consuming for new users.
- 100 maximum participants during the trial period. This doesn't allow you to get a full picture of the software's capabilities before subscribing.
Quick to use platform that works for distributed teams.
- Flexibility in joining.
- Accessibility
- Ability to support clients with multiple platforms.
- Recording
- Do a bit more with integration with Marketing platforms.
- Make it clearer where they compete against Microsoft Teams, especially when that comes to Microsoft Office.
- Make it clearer why to choose them vs. Zoom for meetings and Webinars.
GoTo Meeting for External Collaboration.
- Video Conferencing.
- Screen Sharing.
- Scheduled Meetings.
- Ease of Use compared to other similar applications.
GoTo Meeting can be a great tool.
- Can show your screen and walk customers thru an interactive demo
- Allows your customer to ask questions while you are doing presentations
- Allows you to see their screen and help them navigate through inputs
- Customers consistently have issues signing in.
- Customers have issues trying to share their screen.
- With multiple people on calls, difficult to direct the conversation to one person.
Functional and Fairly Efficient
- Shows all attendees on one screen or allows stage
- Fairly seamless audio and video connection
- Option to record meetings
- Clunky compared to similar software, it doesn't seem to have as much finesse
- Less flexibility in setting up the screen and viewing all participants
- Some people have more trouble connecting audio and video on this platform than on other ones.
Pretty good and one of the pioneers
- Quick and fast access
- Multi device support works well.
- When providing the IT suport works fine
- The pricing could be adjusted for early adopters
- Competitors advance it way further
- The lack of updates may be a reason to change

An alternative to Microsoft Teams or Zoom
- Audio calls
- Screen sharing
- Scheduling
- Mobile app
- Desktop app performance
- In-browser app performance
Oldie but goodie
- Webinars for larger groups.
- Simply easier to use Zoom for what we need. Fewer downloads to make it work.
Standard Meeting Platform
- Screen share without having to join a meeting
- Screen share via link
- Conference room hub
- Instructions on permissions for iOS - our remote workers have varying degrees of success figuring out how to get audio, video, or screen share working since last update
- Constant rebranding - name and logo has changed several times this year, which is a bit confusing for less tech-savvy users
GoTo Meeting - From Essential Tool to Also Ran
- Recorded meetings are create reasonable size WMV files with clear screen images and audio.
- Quick add hoc meetings.
- The "attendee view" of what you are sharing is one of the best features.
- Screen sharing controls are way too large and always getting in the way.
- Mute on entry is annoying, particularly when you have already un-muted in the lobby and then are re-muted automatically ....and have to chase the un-mute button because it moves around on the screen.
- The present screen selector does not handle 4 screens well.
