1. To Install GoToMyPC
An account can be created anywhere, but for GoToMyPC Personal or Pro, it must be set up physically present at the Mac or PC to access remotely. For GoToMyPC Corporate, the user can set up an account from anywhere without needing to be physically present at the PC to access remotely.
2. Connect From Another Device
On the other computer, log in at www.gotomypc.com. Press Connect and the desktop will appear.
3. Work Like Normal
Users can now access files, applications and a network as they were sitting right in front of a computer.

I use GoToMyPC to access my work desktop from home. It saves me from having to go into the office every day and eliminates the potential for a lot of interruptions while trying to complete sensitive tasks. GoToMyPC also allows me to login remotely and look up information on demand to give answers to questions real-time. It's nice to be able to provide answers instead of the "I'll look it up next time I'm at the office" answer.

- Help section has a lot of answers!
- Still trying to figure out the resolution - the app screens are magnified sometimes so it's difficult to see some of the options.

GoToMyPC has worked great! Its easy to use and there have been no problems with connecting or using the program. I am able to continue working even though I have relocated out of state. This avoided having to find and train a new employee to be my replacement. Our operation did not miss a beat due to me leaving the office.

GoToMyPC allows businesses to be on the Go.
GoToMyPC allows me and my staff to work from other locations. We have used it to work from home or when traveling. It was especially helpful during COVID when we were forbidden from physically working at the office. I have used GoToMyPC to retrieve files and work from home when sick or even during snowstorms.
- You have access to all the programs on the office PC as if you were sitting right there.
- It makes it easy to retrieve files to work on remotely and then compare the files to those on your remote PC.
- It is easy and quick to "dial" in.
- The security level is reassuring.
- it is more expensive than other remote software.
- It resizes your desktop font every time you dial in and has to be manually changed back after the completion of the session.
- When dialing in GoToMyPC sometimes stalls and has to be refreshed to continue.

GoToMyPC is the best that I have used
I access my office remotely on a regular basis. The system is quick and responsive. It does not log me out after just a few minutes of inactivity. I can do everything out of the office as if I am in front of my computer.
- The system is as fast as if I was in front of my work computer
- The appearance looks just like my computer at work.
- The system allows me to print remotely without issue.
- The system logs me out after 5-10 minutes of inactivity. Maybe there is, or could be a setting to allow longer inactivity before log out.
- In order to have speed, I pull the graphics down to minimum. If I need to view anything other than print, it is not very clear.
- I believe that I am unable to set the system to allow me to dictate into my office system from a remote location. That ability would be helpful.

Won't Be Without It!
Love GoToMyPC! It allows me to seamlessly log onto my office computer to work just as though I was sitting at my desk. Yes, most programs are now available on line, but logging on with GoToMyPC also allows me direct access to my files that are saved on my office computer. Also logging on in this way allows all saved passwords to be used and I don't get constant notifications that my account needs to be verified. Will never be without it!

I have used GoToMyPC for my own remote work as well as to reach the devices of other employees to share files, to fix IT problems, to leave notes, etc. It's a daily go to tool. The company owner is often at a 2nd residence in another state and being able to work together through GoToMyPC on his other devices allows him to enjoy being away from the office.
I work remotely at least 2 days a week and this gives me flexible hours and more freedom to work from anywhere. I can log onto my work PC from a laptop, tablet or even my phone. And since we don't have walk-in customers, I don't really need to be in the office daily. Today's work world is increasingly digital and cloud based, so there is no reason to spend the time driving to an office when I have my office with me via my tablet. And I can log onto my work computer and use GoToMyPC from it to reach the other computers on our network as well as the ones with GoToMyPC subscriptions all from one screen.

- I don't see much that I would change. It works very well and the more complicated an app becomes, the harder it is to use. It already has a lot of features. It has even kept the FTP option if it's needed.

KEEPS ME CONNECTED !
We currently use GOTOMYPC for all of our outside sales personnel and adminastration. We have great confidence in GOTOMYPC at any time of day or night that it will get us connected and stay connected with our office desktops. When timing is critical and an interruption is not an option, then GOTOMYPC has been the answer for us.

Can't function without it
GoToMyPC enables me to work from home, while out of town, or basically anywhere I can bring my laptop. I can access my company's server and have the same experience I have while in the office.

- I am unable to use two monitors at home for different apps. While I was able to set up two monitors, they each show the same desktop. This is true for Mac but not for PC.

Completely Satisifed!
My company uses GoToMyPC daily. I travel very much. In fact, I live outside the city where my company is located. I have had up to 7 employees working remotely during the Covid pandemic. When I travel to my business location, i get work completed so i can present it when i get there. My employees access it to get their work done as well. I've had no issues with this product. I have installed in in one of my clients computer so I can do her work at her office remotely. I strongly recommend this product. I use this product daily

Good Service Great Technical Support
Having Go To My PC means that our staff can access our company server from their homes. This was invaluable during the Pandemic but after that experience, we use it all the time to work from home when the need arises. We know there are other remote companies out there but we have never found any reason to switch to another because Go To My PC has always "checked all the boxes. "
- Technical support has always been GREAT. First of all its available 24/7.
- Technical support actually picks up the phone and answer when we call.
- Every time Technical support has always been knowledgeable and helpful to efficiently solve any problems .
- There ARE outages sometimes but that is going to happen with any service
I currently have a home office bu spend at least 70% of my time traveling. This program allows me to connect with my home computer and access everything as if I was in my office. Prevents me from duplication and getting behind on follow up. I would recommend this product to anyone in a similar work situation.

Great product!
I have recently become basically bedridden due to stage 4 cancer. This product has allowed me to continue doing my work remotelywhich is primarily on QuickBooks desktop. It is literally as if I am working on my office desktop except that I am literally working from my bed.

A lifesaver for helping technically challenged remote workers, and accessing office from home.
GoToMyPC has been an easy solution for two very important tasks in my business:
- Helping remote workers who are technically challenged, in particularly senior employees who have incredible knowledge and skills, but technically challenged on basic computer issues.
- Remote log-in from my home office on rural internet to my office location on fiber. I regularly log in for retrieval of digital assets, or uploading very large files that would take days on my home rural internet.
I have used it across town during blizzards, and from my home in the US to workers in France. I highly recommend GoToMyPC if you need to more than a mere data access, but need to virtually be sitting in front of a remote computer. The ability for the user on the other end to watch your actions is also very helpful.

I use GoToMyPC frequently to address issues on web server software that needs to be monitored and/or fixed while I'm away from my normal development environment. It enables my ability to address any immediately needed fixes and remotely deploy to the site's production environment from any location in the world.
- The product is extremely easy to use and set up.
- he one time I had a technical issue, customer service was amazingly helpful and responsive and even gave me insight into why the issue occurred so it could be avoided in the future.
- The product allows me to connect from any computer to my intended target (remote development environment) to get work that I need done when I'm away.
- I do not have any cons to state.
- It has everything that I need and many features that I do not need but are nice to know exist should the need arise.
- It's always to get things for lower prices but I do think the price is fair.
I have been using GoToMyPC since its inception in 1998. It allows me to work remotely without losing functionality from my onsite software and databases. During COVID, it allowed my bookkeeper to do her job, even while she was quarantined, which kept the invoices going out, and the customer payments coming in! GoToMyPC has been very useful. I don't know what I would do without it!

I researched and signed up for GoToMyPc years and years ago. I needed a secure way to work from home, yet directly into our system at my office. GoToMyPc accomplished just that. I have never had a problem, ever. It always works from anywhere with an Internet connection. When they came out with their app for my phone, I was in heaven. Absolute heaven. I could check in on things from anywhere. On top of a mountain skiing, at the beach, on a golf course, on our boat, anywhere.
When Covid hit, I signed up several more users. Many of our staff that could used it from home as well. Right into their workstation at the office. The ultimate problem solver. We absolutely love it!

A life changing product!
With relocating to a different state, I needed secure and reliable access to my office PC. GoToMyPC exceeded my expectations. I am able to log in to my office PC and complete tasks just as easily as sitting at the desk in my office. All access is current not limited to office printing functions. The service is dependable and I would highly recommend using GoToMyPC for anyone needing the assurance of a smooth remote transition and access to their PC, server and all files.

Twenty Years and Counting
I need to be able to reach my desktop when I'm not in the office. It allows me to work from anywhere - which I do. Being able to pull files from our office computers and distribute them as necessary to our estimator wherever he is at the moment is important when all our work is done off the premises. We are too small to need a server or any pricey software/hardware solutions when a simple solution like GoToMyPC lets us access the files, including construction drawings, at any time. A cloud based solution is not as fast as using my office desktop even though we back up to Office 365. I keep the files we are currently using in a folders on my desktop and they are easy to find.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, I have been able to work at home and stay safe. But I am also able to access our estimator's computer directly to download plans and leave note directly on his desktop because his computers at his homes are also running GoToMyPC.
I've been using GoToMyPC since I first discovered it over 20 years ago when we were still using dial up & before 'drag & drop" was available - it worked well then, and it's gotten better all the time.

GoToMyPC is an essential tool for my practice. It facilitates my ability to assist clients while not in my office. It is especially valuable when I travel. It also allowed me to work remotely in an effective manner during the pandemic. Our accountants need to be able to access their desktop computers remotely 24/7 all year long. This became especially critical when Covid first hit and everyone was on lockdown during tax season. Until recently we have all had Windows computers. That has now changed and we have introduced a number of Macs into our environment. In my opinion, GoToMyPC doesn’t run well on Macs and the support team isn’t trained properly to support them

- Operates as if you are working on your local Windows machine
- Installation is simple and straightforward on Windows machines.
- Train the support team on how to support Macs. A problem for which support was contacted took over an hour with no resolution I found. After I did an internet search and the solution was published in their community forum on their site over a year ago.
- Doesn’t run well (or at all) on Macs in my opinion.
- In my opinion, technical support is a nightmare. And when their product doesn’t run on the technology you upgrade to mid year, I discovered they won’t refund you the rest of the subscription you can’t use if you pay the entire year in advance - for us this was for 4 computers so a hefty sum of money.
- In my opinion, Splashtop is far better, cheaper and works like a dream
