It was selected because of the following reason: It tightly integrates with other regs. platforms like Cvent It is easy to configure and maintain. It offers nice interactive features like polling questions, transcription, etc. It offers nice data analytics post any event to track the event's success. It is cost-effective.

I think GoTo Webinar is more secure and reliable than Zoom. I don't see Zoom as a secure platform after all the security breaches last year. When you are trying to look like a formal company it's very important for your reputation to use trustful technology partners. User experience in Zoom is one of the worst compared to Microsoft Teams.

GoTo Webinar is better in terms of scaling with you as you grow and scheduling lots of webinars in the future. At the time we didn't feel like Zoom didn't have all of the features that GoTo Webinar seemed to have and wasn't necessarily designed to run webinars with things like polling/surveys, etc.

Our target audience is within the financial sector and we struggled with security walls blocking their access to join Zoom or Teams meetings. ON24 seems to be one level up from GoTo Webinar when it comes to customization and a better UX. My new company now uses ON24 because of these two reasons.

Zoom is great for Meetings (as is Google Hangouts) - The other platforms were either too costly or we couldn't get the data we needed. GoTo can do everything above in a similar fashion. Other webinar platforms we've reviewed/used not listed above: Omnovia, Big Market

Zoom I have found extremely hard to explain and use. Sometimes hard to show if you are on mute when using a mobile device whereas on GoToMeeting you are easily able to see the faces of others and if you are muted or not. That is helpful when traveling and using the app.

GTW is much better than WebEx. we still use Zoom Webinar for smaller events that are more training-focused. And we use PheedLoop for events where we have multiple sessions.

Compared to other big-name video conferencing software, GoTo Webinar stands out as it serves to cater to large events whereas the competition can not. Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and Skype, for example, have all garnered much attention due to the need for virtual meetings but none accomplish the task of facilitating large events as seamlessly as GoTo Webinar. Unlike the competition, GoTo Webinar maintains stable connection and meeting integrity, allowing users to focus on the experience at hand.

All the tools mentioned and this tool itself have their points in favor and other things that can be improved. Many times one solution or another is taken depending on the conditions of the moment and much of the provider, client or platform that offers the best conditions at the moment.

GoTo Webinar is a dedicated platform for webinars and covers the entire lifecycle of webinar compared to players like zoom which have limited features. You can accommodated any audience size and support both recorded as well as live session. Recorded sessions have same experience as live sessions. You also get detailed analytics on every user action and full support from registrations to attendance.

GoTo Webinar comparing to its competitors has a lot of coins, below my list: GoTo Webinar X ON24: GoTo Webinar is much cheaper. GoTo Webinar x Webinar Jam: GoTo Webinar is more complete, has more analytics data after the webinar. GoTo Webinar x Zoom: GoTo Webinar is more complete, has more analytics data after the webinar. GoTo Webinar x StreamYard: GoTo Webinar is more complete, StreamYard is just to broadcast [on] YouTube via RTMP.

ReadyTalk was good but unfortunately is discontinued. Webex Events had awful sound quality and we never wanted to use it as it wouldn't provide our attendees with a proper experience. GoTo Webinar alleviates those issues and allows us to focus on driving the registration and delivering great content, not worrying about if the platform is going to hold up.

It lacks the modern shiny features that competitors like Microsoft Teams offer but what it lacks in this cosmetic stuff, it makes up by being a reliable webinar software. I especially love the fact that we don't have to have long calls with clients' IT teams to explain why they need to install additional software because the lightweight web version works just as well for the purpose.

While all of these products have similar features and most are fairly easy to use, I've noticed that the GoTo series of products offers the easiest interface for students. From a presenter's perspective, the GoTo desktop applications allow for easy ad-hoc presentations as well as scheduled webinars and classes.

Our company has a contract with ON24 currently. They are both very similar and perform well, but I have to say I am more comfortable and prefer ON24. The ease of use and reporting capabilities are more helpful in terms of our goals with our clients, which is why we continue to use ON24.
