GoTo Webinar is the only program with the [capability] to cover all the needed tools to present, track, follow and monitor our progress this way. The [capability] to present, provide slides, scheduling, reminder emails, follow-up emails, and simple to see trends and attendees from each meeting is helpful for future scheduling and planning.

GoTo Webinar simply looks much much more professional - it is the standard and professional go-to (quite literally) when it comes to presenting information in an easy, secure, accessible way. We also attempted to/used to following: Vimeo, GoTo Meeting, Google Hangouts Meet, and Zoom. For comparison sake: Vimeo lacked a professional functionality that was needed for us and suited to presenting a live event weekly, plus their customer service was never as immediate, quick, or helpful. Zoom has a lot of the same functionality, but in the end, GoTo Webinar appeared more professional. Both google meet and GoTo Meeting are better suited for smaller teams and training events, or one-on-one meetings.

I have used both ON24 and Zoom in the past. Zoom wasn't feature-rich enough when I was researching it. It's possible they have gotten better since the pandemic. They actually included it in our Zoom meeting package, but we still chose GoToWebinar since it had the features we needed. ON24 was too much for our needs.

GoToWebinar is the godfather of webinar software. All other webinar companies try and emulate the GoToWebinar platform and also try to add their own spin on it. I do appreciate when other software can build in other services that generally have to be completed by a third-party software when working with GoToWebinar. When you can have everything automated so that you aren't manually sending things out, it makes your workload a whole lot easier.

I would say it's middle of the road. It's definitely on the cheaper end, especially compared to ON24. But, you get what you pay for. If you are looking for a simple, easy-to-use platform, then GoToWebinar is the way to go. But if you are looking for something more complex with more features, there are better ones in the market right now.

We chose GoToWebinar primarily because it integrated directly with HubSpot and I have used it in the past. It was easy to connect, offered about 95% of the things we were looking for, and overall it just made sense. Also, at the time we were signed up with GoToMeeting and GoToMeet for their in-room conference equipment.

GoToWebinar has quite a few competitors however the pre-, during, and post-webinar features that GoToWebinar offers helps it to soar over these other options. GoToWebinar's email reminders to clients, Q/A during the session, and post-survey follow-up keep your client engaged from beginning to end and also provide the business data to help make the webinar experience more successful.

GoToWebinar was easily the fastest to get started experience from day one. Utilizing the templates provided, and the customization available, GoToWebinar helped us host a 3 day event with dozens of presenters with less overall time dedicated to the technology, so our team could dedicate our time to making great content to share.

I had tried one or two alternatives to GoToWebinar before we went with them and we choose GoToWebinar because it was very easy to use, had a lot of automated actions to increase attendance, it was easy both for us and the users, and in general, it did everything we needed in a webinar.

We like both, but prefer GoToWebinar for training because it is specially developed for that end, and tools like presentations, recording, raise the hand, etc. are just more geared towards that training portion rather than just conference calling.

We are actually in a situation where we chose Cisco WebEx over GoToWebinar. GoToWebinar was our standard for years and it was falling short time and time again. There were also issues our InfoSec were concerned about and were unable to overcome with GoToWebinar that WebEx allowed us to overcome and address in a manner that was satisfactory to InfoSec.

So far, I have found Webex is the best tool for web conferencing. Zoom and GoToWebinar come only after Webex. Microsoft Teams is another great tool, which has everything in one place. Sharing files, meetings, calling on phones, etc. Another great feature on Teams is blurring the background which is not available on GoToWebinar.

I'm hating ON24 right now because they said they had a direct Pardot integration, but they don't. (They use a third-party provider, which means the set-up is intense and time consuming). Also, while ON24 seems to have better reporting and a more obvious kick-off process, they have a huge lag time when presenting that can cause issues.

Zoom is simple to use, quick to set up, and easy to get rolling with. It's a new player in this field. GoToWebinar is more established and familiar to more people and seems to have more features. Ultimately, because people were already familiar with attending events, using them is why we chose GoToWebinar at this organization.

I like GoToWebinar but I feel like Zoom always has a seamless experience for me—less troubleshooting, more accessible functions for functionality like switching screens, recording, paring to monitors, etc.
