Groove is a tool I use to stay organized and on top of prospects. Alot of the time, with such alrge outreach attempts some people fall off my radar. With the designed campaigns and spaces, the task of mass outreach becomes much easier. I love the spaces feature, and ability to easily add contacts to a cadence.

  • Very easy to choose from thousands of email templates my company has
  • Easy to see when someone has opened your email and where from

  • When tracking emails (i.e. where someone opened them/ what time) sometimes the feature is not accurate and lags
  • I wish the tracking email function told you which email address opened your email (i.e. if the email was sent to multiple people) instead of a generic "opened ____ hours ago"
It is VERY well suited for people in sales or any client-facing role. Groove makes it very easy to send email blasts and keep track of the emails you send, which can be very difficult in the type of role im in.

The Groove helps our sales, business development and account management teams to work more effectively. It catches the activity automatically and synchronises with Salesforce which is very useful. It dials in all the reminders, emails, meetings in order not to miss anything.

Mass emails Groove is great for. Seeing people viewed your email. Not great for sending LinkedIn connects, I wish the skip step feature was easier to use. You can only have one person skip a step at a time, need a way to do as many people as possible at once

Also, reach out to customers with low interaction and usage at the ThousandEyes platform.

It's currently used by a few departments (sales, implementation team, etc). It makes our life much easier because we work with emails, Salesforce a lot so it saves us time by tracking our emails and auto syncing our documentation and also by creating preset Groove email templates that are shared across different departments.

  • Emails tracking to see who has opened your email or how many times. This is very helpful for follow-ups with clients.
  • To be honest, I don't have any as of now! I am loving it!!! I like all the features I am using and don't have any problems. I am still yet to try out more features so can't complain.
Groove is a great option for someone who is using Salesforce and who is a heavy email user because of all the tracking and auto sync that happens that can make your life so much easier. Well suited for sales, or for someone who manages a huge amount of communications. So, please don't hesitate to try out!!!

Groove helps to track all of our sales processes and tactics and seamlessly integrate them with Salesforce. It is a simple plugin and enables us to integrate everything from simple email tracking, including opens and link clicks, to call and meeting logging and other areas that provide visibility for both our sales team and client services and sales support teams.

  • Allows batch email sending, including personalization for each email
  • This product loses connection with email occasionally and needs to be logged back in
  • Sometimes does not integrate fully seamlessly when adding new leads or contacts in via email extension
  • Is sometimes a bit clunky in terms of integration with Gmail specifically; may work better with Outlook, but haven't used it with that product
This product is an easy plugin to use if you need to integrate or automate processes with Salesforce or other CRM platforms. It also makes it simple to input contact and lead data directly from email platforms instead of having to open Salesforce separately, which can be a major time saver if there is are many contacts being entered at once.

As an Account Executive I used Groove primarily to send links in my email to prospects and customer to easily book appointments with me for demos, contract negotiations, etc. My favorite feature of Groove was the ability for recipients to use my link to view the combined availability for me as well as our solutions engineers, managers, etc. It made coordinating schedules and booking meetings very slick and easy while demonstrating that our company uses the best technologies to streamline our workflow and deliver max value to our customers.

Groove is synced both with my email and calendar.
I use it to understand how many emails I wrote, how many of those were opened and by whom, whether links were clicked on and documents opened or not. Also I organize my meetings and calls with the feature that allows to show my availability and set calls only at the time I'm free

I recommend Groove for all customer facing roles where the job consists of emails and calls. This tool allows you to keep track of your communication flows, reminds you about the tasks that were not complete and makes your life easier in so many ways. We use groove to reach client and let them know about the services we offer. Personally we have helped so many small business owners utilize our software thanks to grooves amazing outreach. This has helped us grow on such a large skill and bring in so much business for us, as well as smart solutions for the business owners we work with.

It is well suited when you need to contact people on a grand scale. The emails look out together and not like spam so it has helped reach business owners personally. However I believe it is less appropriate when you need to get extremely personal with a client you’re dealing with because it is generally used on a larger scale.

I use Groove for prospecting, so I can be efficient and book more meetings. As an Account Executive, I'm running calls for a lot of the day so it can be difficult to carve out time for prospecting. Groove enables me to automate some of my prospecting, which helps me manage my time better to accomplish what I need to get done.

There are so many beneficial parts of the Groove platform that it's hard to pinpoint just one thing. I value the seamless way it connects with my email client, so I know who is opening my emails and clicking on the links I'm sharing. It helps me keep track of what's working and what's not.

We use Groove to track email engagement, import contacts and create new flows. I also use the Groove scheduler to book meetings with my clients.

I use Groove primarily for outreach, strategizing my week, and staying on top of my customers and prospects that I do get in touch with. It's extremely useful for all of these purposes, among others.
  • Organized visualization on contacts I'd like to reach out to in my weekly and monthly sprints
  • Good set up for strategizing who I have or have not contacted and logging those outreach metrics through Groove and Salesforce simultaneously
  • Keeping my cadences organized, simple, and efficient
  • I wish it was a bit more thorough in cadences, but there are no real issues here that I would need to write home about

Use it to keep track of my outreach processes with prospects. Great way to stay organized with my outreach, but also a great tool to track if my prospects are actually viewing what i am sending them or not. It's a great way to organize your full list of accounts, as well.

We use Groove on our team to automate our sales outreach. We create many different flows or cadences depending on what industries we are reaching out to. We used to send emails one by one which would take up hours of our time each day that we could have spent doing prospecting or cold calling. Our team also uses AB testing to see which of our subject lines are performing best. Groove also lets us see if attaching documents to our outreach either hurts or helps get a response from a potential client. In realtime, Groove displays on its home page if and when prospects are opening our emails in real-time. This lets us know a few things. If our client clicked on any links we sent, if the employee is continuing to review our email, and overall just if they are interested in what we are looking to offer them. Within Groove there is an analytics tab as well. This lets me see how my reps are competing against the reps on other teams we have across other departments. Each week - we are able to send out weekly metrics so each team member does not have to keep an eye on their productivity on their own.

Groove is most appropriate for mass outreach. It works very well if you are on a large team with a lot of reps reaching out to a lot of smaller companies. However, within an Account Management team you may utilize Groove in a more precise way. Overall, I am sure their accounts team can tweak the tool to fit your needs.
