I use Groove in a sales capacity. I am able to create Groove Flows which means that I can connect multiple times with bespoke outreach to hundreds of new leads using just one input. This means I am able to use my time more effectively researching for new leads and contacts.

We use Groove's OmniDialer for outbound phone calls, and actively use flows for phone/email campaigns. It helps keep us on task, as well as on schedule with activities and follow-up.

Industry analysis, track outreaches to prospects and clients, organize data instead of using excel spreadsheets, and helping me keep track of when I need to reach out to clients by using flows.
  • Flows! This helps me organize clients and prospects by industry/category. I can also select talk tracks/email templates which save me a TON of time.
  • Spaces. I use this to organize all my data. Instead of using Excel or the original source of the data, this helps me keep everything organized and allows me to take notes, view progress, etc.
  • Email tracker! My favorite feature in Groove. Allows me to gauge a client's interest because I can see when, where and how many times they view the information I send.
  • Set up process - Groove was confusing to set up. Once I set it up, there weren’t any clear instructions on how to use Groove and the benefits of it.
I used the flow feature and added a couple of clients to an email flow. The flow will automatically send another email if the client hasn’t viewed the original email. I had a client respond back to the second auto email asking to set a meeting. With 300+ clients, it’s hard for me to remember when I need to follow up/send another email. Having a system that reaches out to clients for you is a huge time saver!

Groove is well suited for almost all SDR workflows. I live in Groove, it helps with all my outreach. Email and call outreach is made a lot simpler with Groove. LinkedIn outreach isn't offered - if it was, that would be a major improvement. If SDRs are doing a lot of email and call outreach but not much LinkedIn outreach, Groove could be the perfect system.

We use Groove daily for our campaigns and mass out reaches. It is much more efficient and less time consuming when you are able to set it and launch and move on to other tasks

In my previous jobs I spent a lot of time with email outreach and I was never able to track if that email was opened or what time of day it is opened. I was not able to upload a list of contacts and schedule to send them off, for all the reason mentioned I have to say I really love using Groove!! It gives me insight into open rates, it gives me times of day it was opened so I plan my response rates better.

My team needs a sales enablement platform other than Salesforce to stay afloat because we reach out to many people every week or month. I use Groove to keep my prospecting and my teams prospecting activities organized, create and facilitate outbound marketing campaigns, and analyze campaign and team mate performance.

It would be less appropriate for a account executive position because Groove allows users to avoid personalizing each email.

At Backbase we use Groove to help us create new flows send emails efficiently, track calls and linkedin tasks as well. We use Groove everyday for basically the entire day.

My Sales team, AM team and CS team all use Groove to send/receive emails, make calls, book meetings, update Salesforce to have the highest level of accuracy for the communication with our prospects and customers. Having our CRM (Salesforce) as accurate as possible is my biggest concern and removing the admin time for the reps to make sure this is accurate is very valuable. I want the reps doing their jobs and doing as little admin as possible but also assuring we have everything documented and recorded in the CRM.

I have used other tools (Outreach, Close.io, Salesloft, ect) and they all have similar features or functionality, the thing that stands out to me about Groove is the ease of use for the rep. It does not matter how many bells and whistles a product offers if they are difficult to use. I need the reps to implement the tool and use it as part of their day to day to make their lives easier and more efficient, Groove does that better than others. They also make it very easy for me to set up or change on my own without needing to be an engineer. Finally, the Customer Service is leaps and bounds better than most competitive alternatives. I have been very impressed with the willingness to help us if there is ever a need and I have never felt like a "small" customer to them event though our team is not very large.

We use Groove on a day to day basis. That can be email tracking, flow and template creation, as well as calendar availability and scheduling. I primarily use it from an email tracking and scheduling standpoint, but it has so much capability for a sales org.

It is great for an overall sales org, especially when it comes to BDR outreach and messaging. I like it from an AE standpoint, where you can copy and paste templates for outreach, easily schedule meetings, and monitor clicks and opens on your emails to more accurately measure if your messaging is hitting and engaging.

I find Groove extremely useful in organising the accounts in my pipeline , I use filters for searching and it is a super tool to have if you need to send a bulk email. Groove also keep tracks of the emails which is also a great feature. I highly recommend Groove.

We use Groove as a customer engagement platform. We follow a cadence and call upon leads using the Groove site as well as the Groove Omnidialer. Our primary role is to reach out to potential customers for our products in the hopes that we can qualify them for the sales team within our company. We also use the insights and data that we get from Groove to help us determine how effective some of our marketing campaigns are. We do this by reviewing the effectiveness of our Groove flows and how often we see positive results.
  • Very easy to learn and to use
  • Very intuitive with the cross relationship with Salesforce
  • Provides detailed and useful data
  • Would like to be able to edit some lead items right in the site itself
  • Would like to be able to edit calendar settings on the site
  • Would like some more flexibility with what can be done as an automated action
Groove would be excellent for any form of customer contact. It is a great way to keep you on track with what is needed, whether it be an email or a call next for a particular customer. If you had to think about doing the actions needed by yourself, it would be impossible to keep up. Groove makes the lead touchpoints clear, and it also helps make us more effective as reps.

In 2u, the Groove software is used for various reasons not limited to internal and external appointment scheduling, easy email communication and tracking, individual advisor engagement tracking on each work-day, email template creation resulting in easy access and use on Gmail, as well as other team members Gmail account management whenever they out of office and support or assistance is requested in their personal email account. Essentially, the software has made work tasks relatively easier and more efficient to complete.

Less suited: At least in my current role is the knowledge management and live chat features. Most team members hardly use the mentioned features.

I work for a sales team in a very large tech organization. We have required a heavy quota of outreach touches each week and are measured intensely at our jobs. Groove allows me to design different templates destined for POCs that would be interested in hearing more about our product. Additionally, it allows us to create "flows" in which we put several messages in a sequence. It also allows to list different steps than email, setting reminders for calls, LinkedIn connections, and many others. In the end, Groove shows you all the statistics of your campaigns so you can see which is working best and work on the ones that are providing poor results.

Groove has to be the best software for a medium to large sales team. It allows having multiple employees use easy software that simplifies outreach and provides order and structure. Since I began using Groove, I have seen how my numbers for opportunities have increased since I have a structure on my sales pipeline and do not need to write anywhere about how my pipeline is going. I don't think it would be that appropriate for account managers since they need a more specific an personal approach with their prospects, but for outreaching it works amazingly.

Groove assists with our mass outreach to outbound leads and inbound marketing leads. It allows us to track emails sent out and how our wording is tracking with prospects. Our team sends approximately 4,000 emails/day.

I use Groove daily for email campaign follow-up and to create automative flows. The product helps us solve mass emails with a personalized edge. It's refreshing how it links with all our tools i.e. Sales Force, Linkedin, and Google Workspace. Groove also helps us with contact cadences by setting up diversified flows. It's not just the basic email only, you can add phone calls and Linkedin messaging as well. This gives us a 360 automation source for bulk prospecting.

  • Opt-out option for receivers of the emails that automatically update your contacts
  • It's challenging to skip a step in a flow you've already set up
  • It would be cool to be able to set a flow that others on your team can use, just like a template
  • If someone is missing an email, the ability to just remove them from the entire flow would be helpful
If you are in sales and have to reach a broad audience, Groove gives you the ability to tailor your bulk messaging for specific campaigns. It also allows you to track the links so you can see when and how long your prospects are engaging with your messaging. You can also respond within the platform as you are reading the messages.

I use Groove to prospect clients, launch campaigns to present products and events. I always use it to contact a lot of customer and to know if they need my help or need to buy something. I have different flows that I usually use for different types of contacts, according to the use case.

Groove is best suited for using bulk email to reach multiple customers in a short period of time. We needed a tool to automatically capture interactions with customers in Salesforce. Adoption of activities was very low when created directly in Salesforce. Groove allowed us to automate the capture of activities and calendar events into Salesforce with minimal involvement from the users. This is data we did not have any insight into before. We are also capturing a larger amount of contacts in Salesforce since it is now much easier to create new contacts through Groove.

Groove allows me to stay on top of my prospecting efforts, keeping people organized and my outreach structured. It connects to Salesforce and allows me to seamlessly add different prospects to flows and send emails/make calls. It also helps me track my calls and emails that I've sent to make sure I'm putting in the effort required for the job.

For meeting scheduler for clients so they can choose how long of a meeting they want to have, email flow (see open/unread/create canned responses), integration of emails in Salesforce -- to log outgoing messages, so others in the team also know what's going on, email templates for canned responses or daily emails template to keep emails brief and to the point.

We use Groove for targeted outreach to prospects at key accounts. Groove enables us to conduct this outreach in a scalable, user-friendly and intuitive way that maximizes our productivity. Its easy integration with Linkedin and ability to add "other actions" in a flow help with multi-channel communication which has been a great asset. Groove also allows us to update our database frequently, as it is very easy to fix bounced emails and update job titles, etc.

I use groove mainly to send mass emails and track if they are viewed. I have not really tried the other items that you can use Groove for but it is fantastic for sending mass messages quickly. I like the fact that the tracker will show you when an email is opened and how many times someone has viewed it. Helps me know that I am being responded to!

I use Groove to handle all messaging and calls at my organization. Our use case is following up on leads and seeing who is active vs not active. Groove tracks calling rates and responses which help us analyze our strategies and possibly change it up. Emailing with Groove, it shows us who opens our links and how many times they open it. This helps us change our messaging if it doesn't work.
