    Handshake Event Manager helps employers schedule, fill, host events, and connect with early talent. Create and host unlimited group events and 1:1 video chats using Handshake video or a different video platform. Manage scheduling, track RSVPs, and create targeted follow-ups based on candidate actions.

  2. Expert Assist:
    Handshake Expert Assist extends the impact of the recruiting team by partnering with Handshake's team of experts. Lean on experts to source more relevant candidates, design campaigns, and train up teams to get the most out of Handshake.

Compared to bulk messaging students who are listed as 'matches' on the job listing page, the segments & campaigns I created were so helpful in identifying leads & helping to convert those leads to applicants without me having to continually follow-up with students (thank you- follow-up email feature!)

For roles that require a lot of applicant flow, or for positions that require a large cohort of hires at one time, these features are perfect.

Handshake is well suites to times when you want to drive a larger (and/or more diverse) pool to your job postings and events. You can send out a campaign to target the types of students you want to target and these campaigns have been proven to increase the engagement with our events and jobs. For example, before hosting an in-person campus event, I run a campaign to invite relevant students at that school to my event and I've seen an increase in event attendance. Handshake is not the tool, however, for looking through and contacting individual candidates as there is no way to look through individual profiles - you have to run a campaign first for a general job or posting and then individuals can respond to your outreach and that is when you are able to view their individual profile and contact them.

Handshake Talent Engagement Suite is great for recruiters who sole purpose is to fill internships and entry level roles. Having a platform is made for the demographics we look for helps us weed out a lot of candidates who apply who are not a fit for these early career type roles.

This product is well suited if you are looking for new hires and need the ability to find and identify them very quickly and efficiently. This might be less appropriate for a company that is not hiring directly out of college and may not need the ability to find and identify talent immediately. We were looking for a certain amount of new hires that we needed to fit a specific skillset and by using Handshake Talent Engagement Suite we were able to target specific students with that skillset and get them interested in the position.

Handshake is a great platform to reach large amounts of candidates in varying locations on an individual level. It is a sort of one-stop-shop for early careers recruitment since you can register for events & career fairs through the system as well.

It is harder to use Handshake when you're looking for very specialized or niche candidate profiles.

I think Handshake is really good for large organizations looking to host online events and easily organize a large number of students. It is able to handle large amounts of people/companies and scales well. One use case where I think it is less valuable is for educational institutes, which are primarily looking for job aggregation and matching. I found that the filtering, matching, and other job application features were generally lacking when compared to products that focus just on that, such as indeed or LinkedIn.

Handshake Talent Engagement Suite is best suited for entry-level position recruiting, and positions that do not require experience upon start. We do not utilize Handshake Talent Engagement Suite for positions that needs specific years of experience since most connections on Handshake Talent Engagement Suite are upcoming- or new-grads. We also do not use Handshake Talent Engagement Suite to plan our recruitment events at education centers.

I am looking for an associate veterinarian for our hospital. Being on Handshake has made it easy to put this out to as many universities as possible. In the past, we would have to put an ad on each individual university from which we would want to recruit. This has saved much needed time.

Handshake Talent Engagement Suite has been the best early talent tool and platform for my team. We will continue to use Handshake & Insights to evolve as better recruit diverse populations not only a 4-year degreed schools, but also 2-year degreed schools. Handshake is great for recruiting early career talent. I use the platform to recruit for Fiserv early career intern and analyst rotation programs. Handshake is always adding new schools to the platform, so my team feels connected with many schools when trying to fill our roles. For roles that require more experience (10+ years), it is more difficult to find talent.
