HootSuite Enterprise provides a centralized platform for managing streams from different social media channels and posting/ engaging across channels simultaneously. It also has strong team / workflow features and good mobile apps.https://media.trustradius.com/product-logos/vG/FW/82VTWIZC8WTT.JPEGEngage and interact successfully with a social marketing tool that actually plays well with others. My company uses Hootsuite Pro for engaging with customers, growing awareness, building relationships, social listening, and content scheduling and management across 40 networks and 6 different brands. It's used by every member of my team. Hootsuite allows us to schedule ever green content far into the future while still consistently adding time sensitive content whenever its needed. With the scheduling feature, my team is allowed to manage most social network tasks in minimal time- all at glance.,Hootsuite Pro excels with their dashboard organization. For our purposes we do very well with the 20 tabs with ten streams in each tab. This allows us to create different dashboards for specific purposes- its easily customize-able to suit our needs. We are able to group streams by network and/or by brand. Further, it's a snap to monitor influences and track keywords and hashtags as well. Other social media management tools don't allow near as much flexibility. Unlike other social tools, Hootsuite Pro has an extensive app directory that allows brands to include tumblr, blogger, sound cloud, stumble upon, Pinterest via tailwind in their dashboard. Past that, their app directory includes an impressive number of services for further dashboard capabilities and increases productivity options. Popular services such as Trello, Slack, Reddit, Pocket, Flipboard, Dropbox, Evernote, SugarCRM and many, many other services are integrated into the dashboard via apps. Hootsuite Pro can handle a large portion your marketing needs. While Hootsuite offers several packages, marketing bundles, services, and add-ons, to accommodate larger companies at an enterprise level also- - the Pro package is perfect for small to mid-level companies with many features and capabilities at a price that beats the cost of most social media marketing tools available.,When I first began using Hotsuite Pro, the allowed social accounts were unlimited. As their offerings increased, the number of social accounts available to Pro account users dropped to 50. Granted, 50 social networks is more than sufficient for most small companies the number is too small for companies managing multiple brands with multiple profiles. It's perfectly acceptable to offer a package with a 50 profile allotment- most social management tools have limits also. However, those that signed up for the Pro account with unlimited profiles felt a sting when the number was dropped, without warning, to 50. As for us, managing six brands, each with multiple social profiles, and a few of those brands have multiple profiles on the same network to address customer service, sales, and/or vetch. support. For a time, we thought we would need to purchase add-ons to meet our needs. While we love the services, technically the service offers less that what it did when I signed up. Hootsuite Pro only offers one advanced analytics report each month. You can purchase additional reports or build custom reports. However, what's offered isn't sufficient for the allowed social profiles. The analytic capabilities exist in Hootsuite, but the Pro package doesn't offer enough reports to handle extensive analytic reporting needed for future planning. Yes, these are available as add-ons- but the Pro package will never be a stand alone social media marketing tool until more reports are available. In the past, Hootsuite Pro included Linked In Company Pages, and groups as well as individual profiles. Pages and groups are no longer included so. LinkedIn is not covered as well as it once was.,9,5,Thanks to Hootsuite Pro and its long term scheduling capabilities, my team can focus their effort on growing the business and not just mainlining. We have more time and energy for creative marketing development. Hootsuite allows my team to interact with audiences easily. Multiple conversations in one setting saves time and eliminates confusion. This increases workflow and and decreases downtime. Social media marketing and management is easily contained and controlled so there is little fear of falling behind. My team always feels as if they their efforts are productive and not rushed.,Buffer, Sprout Social and Tailwind,Trello, Airtable, OneNote, Bitrix24, TweetDeck, Google AnalyticsHootsuite Pro: The Social Media Manager's FriendI use HootSuite Pro on behalf of my clients to post to their various social media outlets. It allows me to generate multiple posts in one location. It also allows me to effectively pre-schedule social media posts days, weeks, or even months ahead of time. It also allows me to monitor their social media feeds and keep up with other employees who made me posting on their behalf.,HootSuite pro allowed me to post to multiple social media platforms from one location. HootSuite bro allows me to pre-schedule multiple posts days, weeks, or even months ahead of time.,It would be nice if HootSuite bro added more networks such as Pinterest and Snap Chat. It would be really great if HootSuite pro integrated with Facebook messenger. It would be very helpful if Sweet bro integrated with local search Platforms such as Yelp.,8,1,The main return on my investment for sweet bro has been the savings of. For all that it lets me do, It offers Sirius efficiency.,,SharpSpring, SEMRushHootsuite Free a favorable experienceI use Hootsuite in the department where I work, when tracking different topics of interest at the Twitter level, such as the different updates on minimum wages and the different regularizations and decrees issued by different countries, it is important at the moment to follow up on news.,It is useful at the moment to follow up on informative topics, that is, to follow up on media. Customize Hootsuite to your liking and work wherever you want, the interface is very flexible and you have a great freedom to visualize the data in different ways, create lists of themes or media, adapting it to your way of working. Have all the information you need a click away....,With the monitoring of social networks you can get key information about your competitors. This kind of intelligence will allow you to create strategic business decisions that will keep you above them. For example, you can create search channels in Hootsuite to monitor keywords within the industry and see the mentions of the names and products of your competitors. With the monitoring of social networks you can obtain key information about your competitors. This kind of intelligence will allow you to create strategic business decisions that will keep you above them. For example, you can create search channels in Hootsuite to monitor keywords within the industry and see the mentions made to the names and products of your competitors. With Hootsuite, you can manage up to 100 different social networks. You can disseminate several advertising campaigns at the same time. You can promote your company, product or services. You can achieve direct assistance to customers.,10,,212/5000 I work in a state company, that is, without profit, but from the positive point of view, the Hootsuite is a very useful tool when reviewing information and presenting monthly reports.,none,DropboxGreat social media managing toolOur agency has been using HootSuite Pro for about 4 years. The whole organization uses it but mainly my digital marketing team and me. We have issues posting with Instagram through Hootsuite. To do so, you have to download the Hootsuite app on your phone and then post to Instagram through the app. It's complicated and I wish we could do so from a desktop browser.,With HootSuite you can schedule posts ahead of time. It's hard to keep up with social media nowadays, especially if you post a lot for a client (or for yourself) on all different platforms.HootSuite is a great option for people who manage multiple accounts. We're all busy nowadays. You can improve your productivity with Hootsuite which leaves you with time to do other important things for your company and deal with more important matters. FREE for the basic account. The premium account is $19 a month for the basic account for 10 profiles. You can try out premium FREE for a month.,Outdated interface on the website. Old look and feel of the website. It needs to be updated to a more modern look. It's outdated and it gets boring to look at. Some reports cost extra, around $50 Expensive if you have a bigger team,8,5,it has helped us be more productive with our work. we have more time to work on matters that are important for the growth of the business hootsuite has helped up gain more clients because we now have a way to keeping up with the social media accounts that belong to our clients it's a fair price for the amount of work that we use it for,HubSpot,HubSpot, WordPress, SlackCan be a pain, but there is nothing better! We use Hootsuite Free to plan out our social media. We are a small start-up business, so a free version is more than enough for the time being. In particular, we plan out Twitter and LinkedIn campaigns currently, however, I've used this software before for all of the other traditional social media types. Overall, Hootsuite, helps me plan social media calendar, publishes everything for me, and helps to keep up with all of the hashtags in one place, so it makes social interaction very easy. Also, there is quite useful chrome extension that allows me to publish valuable curated content fast.,Publishing social media posts Keeping up to date with hashtags and people we follow/would like to follow/ we are interested in Amending link thumbnails and updating their descriptions, it works great for a bit of variety,Instagram automated posts are quite painful. There are better programs that do that. The free version has recently implemented a credit system in addition to 3 accounts only. So you get 30 posts and for 3 accounts. Reporting features are a little useless. They are easily available everywhere else, and the number of 'twitter followers' isn't really a report..,9,1,Social media integration is very easy We have seen a good increase in engagement because it is easy to post a lot Additionally, it is very easy to get engagement from interaction,Hootsuite Pro is great for organizing multiple social accounts for multiple brands. We are using Hootsuite Pro to schedule and manage our social media campaigns for multiple brands.,Scheduling campaigns. Posting to multiple social media accounts. Multiple social media profiles.,The interface can be confusing at times. The pricing is a little on the high end.,7,3,We are still evaluating because we've had a revolving door of social media managers, so there hasn't been someone consistently monitoring.,Adobe Photoshop, WordPressHootsuite - Perfect... But Needs ImprovementsWe are a company that manages 5 different brands and we use Hootsuite to help make the social media aspect a lot easier. For the most part, Hootsuite’s platform is quite useful for our day to day activities and we genuinely use it a lot for scheduling upcoming blog posts.,Managing multiple social media accounts Providing a platform to manage multiple brands Giving real-time updates of the activity on your social media feeds,Should find some way to reintegrate the now out of use Chrome plugin The interface could be a bit more intuitive as right now it appears a bit clustered Provide more robust support options for your clients,7,6,Allows us to easily communicate with our customers for direct marketing Provides much quicker means of communicating with customers about customer service matters Improved the trustworthiness of our brand,,Adobe Illustrator CC, Bronto Marketing Platform, Google Analytics PremiumGreat Social Media Tool for multiple accountsHootsuite Pro is used as a tool to schedule and monitor Twitter and Instagram mainly. We also use it during Twitter parties and to track hashtags. The newly added feature to schedule Instagram posts for biz accounts was a very welcome update.,Create streams for multiple accounts and platforms and offer an easy overview Schedule, comment on, like and reshare posts on multiple platforms Track trends, hashtags and search terms in separate column,I've used the platform for a long time but do get some resistance sometimes from others saying it's not very user-friendly Maybe add more features to the analytics side,10,3,The mobile function is great for on the go tracking and posting (since up until recently there wasn't an option to post directly to Instagram). It's a cost-effective social media tool.,repost, command, Viraltag and Mention,Cision PR Software, Mention, ViraltagHoostuite Free - A Must for Start Ups and Small BusinessesWe used Hoostsuite Free when we first started the business. We needed a low cost solution, free is definitely low cost, I heard about Hootsuite from online blogs I follow, and searched on the web more about it. The main functions I wanted to use were to schedule social media posts on Facebook, LinkedIn, and Google+ so I didn't have to manually do it. I know Facebook has the option to schedule it for later but logging onto 3 different platforms and copying pasting over was a lot more time consuming. Still at the time the other social platforms didn't allow to schedule the post for later. It was easy to get started with and freed up our time in scheduling social media posts. Initially it was just myself, and now I have others using the upgraded version of it. I meet with a lot of smaller businesses who don't have a large budget for marketing and I recommend Hoostuite free to them all the time. We have since upgraded to the version where you can have more social profiles and are still happy with it. Pricing is hard to beat, and the time savings is very helpful.,For small or startup businesses, time is scarce, and being able to schedule up to 30 messages at one time means you sit down once per month and you are done. Spending one to two hours focussed on content relieves the stress of remembering to log on multiple times per week when other things get in the way. I also like the analytics, you can log into each social site and look at it, but again that is time that could be spent doing something else. I like seeing how each post is performing over different channels, especially because each channel will vary in the way content is consumed. Very helpful for planning future content and posts. When I was starting up it was nice to have a trusted source of information helping me determine what and how to post to social media, Hootsuite provides some online free courses to help a small startup business get off the ground with what to post. Helping with information on specific social media platforms, optimizing your social media profiles and pages to get more out of social media. Some people tend to think it's just creating a profile and posting, it's way more than that and Hootsuite provides a lot of information for non experts to become proficient for their own business.,They have the Hootlet owl that can be used to schedule posts on the fly for Chrome and Firefox browsers. Very helpful, I have noticed it can be quite buggy at times, so I generally don't even use install it or use it. I'd like to see it work better because a small part of posting is done on the fly. But considering it is a free resource I don't complain. I'd love to see a keyword report or hashtag report which is currently not available on the free version, but considering it's free, again I wouldn't complain. When I used the free plan the main goal was to just post content and show more presence that was consistent on multiple channels. When I first signed up there wasn't a lot of information in regards to how the dashboard worked and the functions of streams but I believe they have added more information, for non techy people that may seem a bit confusing at first, but they have added more information in explaining that and the publishing stream.,10,2,Simplifying. It simplifies posting content into multiple channels because you only log in once, and can post to multiple channels in different ways. Which also means remembering less layouts on different social channels to post content. You can also post content during non business hours so you have more availability for more customers. Saving time. WIth being able to sit down once per month versus multiple times per month to post content I don't have to worry about scheduling content posts when a busy day happens, plus once you are in the social media mode, you don't have to switch gears to think about other projects and that can relieve some stress, Training. For my interns or people needing to learn how to use it, I can just refer them to the training guides Hootsuite free has already. So that frees up my schedule to train them how I want my content to be posted online, when to schedule posts to be published and other details that are specific to my company niche.,IFTTT, Buffer and Sprout Social,Asana, Zoho Creator, SlackLimited features, dated interface...but hey, it's Free. Our organization used Hootsuite Free to manage social media channels for our clients. In our case, we had a few different clients that used Hootsuite, but most of my experience is was with one particular client. This was used to help keep track of social posts and social trends for this client.,The best strength of Hootsuite is the price. Free is a great price. Built in URL shortener is nice. Support is solid, with real people to speak with.,Being a free version, you are limited to just three services. The interface is a bit clunky and feels dated. It feels like it is more for viewing social media than creating posts. It is glitchy at times, and this can be frustrating. The draft mode should have some section to leave notes, but it does not, and requires secondary communication if collaborating.,6,3,With no cost, it helped us manage some of our social marketing channels without software cost overhead. On the other hand, we spent more time in some areas when Hootsuite Free didn't have the features or integrations that some competitors have.,Sendible, Hootsuite Enterprise, Buffer and Sprout Social,MailChimp, Slack, AdWords, Bing Ads, Google Search ConsoleHootsuite Free? Owl pass.We used Hootsuite Free to schedule posts across social media platforms, namely Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn (it doesn't work with Instagram, which was always irritating, but, as I understand it, not entirely Hootsuite's fault/problem). As a marketing department of one, I was the only user. It certainly saved time if the only alternative was crafting each post one at a time per social media platform (which is not the case, in reality) and it offered something in the way of analytics.,Scheduling across up to three platforms Basic monitoring across up to three platforms Basic analytics,Make friends with Instagram! Not a big fan of the user interface Could improve entry-level reporting,4,,Got us into the habit of being more consistent about posting content across social media channels Got us thinking about measuring our social media engagement (and looking for better ways to do it) Allowed us to monitor hashtags where we could contribute existing content to an ongoing conversation,Buffer and TweetDeck,Google Analytics, Yoast Wordpress SEO Plugins, WordPressHootsuite Pro Review From A Consultant's POVHootsuite Pro is used daily by my team to ensure that posts are made on time and responded to as well. We utilize Hootsuite Pro to follow conversations, manage mentions and provide overall customer service for our clients' accounts.,Schedule posts to go out, making this process a little less hectic. We manage multiple social media accounts and logging into everyone every time is a bit of a hassle. Hootsuite Pro allows us a central point of contact for our client's social media accounts Overall Hootsuite Pro has been a huge time-saver.,The calendar layout is a bit "clunky". It would be great to be able to customize the Calendar view so that more of the social media post is visible. It would be amazing if Hootsuite Pro could pull content from a local database or spreadsheet, without having to upload the content. This would really help with evergreen content.,10,2,Hootsuite is a core tool we use to perform daily functions of the business, therefore return is positive,Buffer,Edgar, Infusionsoft, BlueJeansHootsuite Free Not for MeWe no longer use Hootsuite Free. The reason behind this is because we found it to be a non-user friendly platform. In addition, I was limited to how many platforms I could integrate before I was forced to purchase. I liked that other sites allowed a try before you buy option which made it easy to switch from Hootsuite Free to our new platform. It was difficult to navigate without much how-to or direction. I could not use it without getting frustrated.,It does have a litany of add-ins which is nice when you know how to use them and when to use them. It has a multitude of options to choose from to add to your dashboards and you can add many of them. It is simple to sign up and get started.,It is hard to navigate. I had a hard time with its user interface because I did not like having to scroll from side to side to see information in addition to scrolling up and down. It needs to be more streamlined and easier on the eyes.,1,,Sprout Social and TweetDeck,Microsoft Project, Microsoft Office 2016, Microsoft Office 365When it loads it works but...I have used the free version of Hootsuite for both personal and professional reasons. On the professional side it was used as a collaboration tool for multiple people to post to social channels at the same time and provide visibility to what was in the queue. It solves the issue of managing multiple social accounts across both people and channels.,Easy to use browser and apps to allow for posting. Easy to understand the queue of posts Post once and share across multiple social networks.,I would say Hootsuite failed to load about 80% of the time. Not sure what was going on but it was very frustrating. Sometimes if you were sharing an image the image would not show up in the feed (especially on Facebook).,4,2,Since its free it will have a positive ROI from a hard cost perspective but if you find yourself wasting your time trying to get it to load then there is a negative ROI on your time.,Buffer,Buffer, CrashPlan, AlexaGreat timesaver for social media managementMy team members and I use Hootsuite Free to manage social media accounts for our clients. I also use it to schedule social media posts for my personal accounts as well.,Schedule social media posts Post easily across multiple platforms with just one login, which is a big time saver View content posted by a specific account or hashtag,Would be nice to add Instagram functionality on, but to be fair that's a limitation of Insta not Hootsuite A copy and paste field would be nice when scheduling multiple tweets when want to post same tweet a number of different days and times,9,10,Save team time Save team efforts duplicated by having social media accounts under one umbrella,Buffer and RavenTools,Cyfe, Hotjar, MozHootsuite - The Clunky and Overwhelming Campaign Manager That Will Boost Your ReachUsing Hootsuite allows me to track my posts across multiple platforms so I don't have to use Wordpress's subscription tool. It also offers quite the variety of social media platforms to post on, as well as campaign management.,Variety of social media platforms, this allows you to not only track campaigns on Facebook but Twitter, Instagram, etc. As long as you know how to read stats, there is plenty of detail information provided on every one of your campaigns. This stands out against competitors as I feel you receive the most information for your money.,The interface is incredibly clunky. I felt that it would struggle often when I would try to complete a campaign. The service is a bit overwhelming to use at the start. If you don't understand many of the features, there are plenty of 3rd party groups to receive information from.,6,2,Overall, we didn't have a major impact on our biggest objective. Individually it worked on the small projects, not the overall picture. Due to its complex and overwhelming interface, many of our users denied using it.,Free is still Free even if it's not PerfectWe have used Hootsuite free to manage the scheduling, publishing, and monitoring of our Facebook profiles. It is being used by our marketing department as well as our human resources department. Hootsuite free gives us a central location to access our Facebook profiles to make sure that our content writers post content according to our social strategy.,Web-based. This is a very big strength because there is no need to download anything, it can all be done on the web. Customer Service and communication. Hootsuite does a very good job of communicating with their customers. If there are ever problems, they are quick to respond and helpful. When it comes to social media, knowing that someone is there to support you when issues arise gives peace of mind. Accessible content. The Hootlet extension allows users to post content from anywhere online for easy content curation.,Limited profiles/services. The free service does not allow for more than 3 profiles. This makes it almost unusable for companies who wish to have a presence across the social sphere. Not user-friendly. The organization of the user interface is lacking. It has a difficult learning curve. No post previewing. As a manager, I would like the ability to approve posts before they are sent. It is very easy for posts to slip through and get posted without approval. Either posts are scheduled and missed or they sit in drafts until past the optimal date/time of posting. Adding more users is not included with the free version and can become expensive.,6,3,Hootsuite free was an excellent first social media monitoring and publishing program that helped our department identify what features are most helpful in our social strategy. Rogue posts that do not match with our social strategy going out without approval to our profiles is detrimental to our overall social performance. Hootsuite free scheduling and monitoring has allowed for our departments to discover the optimal posting times and days which has lead us to improved performance.,Sendible, Hootsuite Enterprise, Cyfe and CoSchedule,Sendible, Cyfe, SEO PowerSuiteHootSuite Pro - Not Pretty, But It Gets The Job DoneWe use Hootsuite Pro in order to monitor and manage multiple clients' social media accounts. I am the main user, although everyone has access to the account. We are primarily a content creation company, specializing in film and video production, but we offer social media management as an upsell to many of our clients, which they usually are very interested in. Trying to juggle many social profiles is difficult, and monitoring them all is nearly impossible. HootSuite pro allows you to have one look across all platforms and profiles, and saves a ton of time.,Excellent social monitoring tool. You can follow hashtags, mentions, and more, and have a "bird's eye view" of it all on one page. Great calendar feature where you can see all your posts laid out on a calendar, rather than just a list or weekly view. This helps with more in-depth campaigns. The mobile app is great to use if you manage Instagram accounts, as it sends notifications and reminders to post at the scheduled times.,The layout of HootSuite (both mobile and desktop) leaves much to be desired. It is not pretty, and it doesn't make a lot of visual sense to me. I wish there was an option to post to Instagram automatically, although I know this is really a problem with Instagram, and not with HootSuite.,8,2,It saves us SO much time using HootSuite to manage and plan, rather than logging in and out of different accounts three hundred times a day. Because I am an hourly worker, this saves the company so much money. We are able to ensure quality posts go out on a strategic schedule, meaning we are able to offer our clients excellence in our work.,Buffer, Sprout Social and Facebook for Business,Buffer, Sprout Social, Facebook for BusinessGood tool! We've used it to schedule posts on Facebook and Twitter. One person on my team is responsible for curating content, uploading it to HootSuite and then scheduling it to many channels, for us and some of our clients. We used it as a tool to streamline our social media engagement and presence. I believe that overall it is a powerful tool and affordable but I'm finding it to be too cumbersome and in a way a bit more complex to manage. The interface is not the most intuitive one. It was great a few years ago but we've seen interfaces that are simpler and not so cluttered. Overall it is a great tool but we eventually decided to move to something that others in the team could manage as well.,All in one place. Easy to schedule posts. Very affordable,Too cluttered. Not as intuitive for someone just starting. Not the best UI.,8,2,Since it's so affordable it's very easy to get the ROI fast It did come with a learning curve though because of the UI. Overall we were able to recover our investment and get good results.,Amplifr and Sprout SocialHootsuite Pro, not sure anyone comparesJust by me, posting stuff for clients and potential clients to see and read about. I'll get different ideas from others in our company and others companies that post stuff as well. I try to post 2x per week on a regular basis. It's been very user friendly and saves me lots of time manually posting on all of the different sites.,Post to multiple sites with ease. Work on the go with the app. Schedule posts in the future.,When scheduling a post, it would be nice to be able to post to Twitter in the same window, because Twitter requires less text. Emailed reminders if no more posts are scheduled. More webinars for how to maximize your use of Hootsuite, such as reporting.,10,1,Not sure, social media is very hard to track, because people call us or email us to schedule their appointment. I believe that people have definitely booked with us after seeing or reading posts. Content creation of course. Again not sure the impact this has had with our online business.,,dlvr.itA must for Social Media posting!Posting on Social Media multiple times a day, several days a week can be complicated. Hootsuite makes everything easier! A hub to manage different social media and bulk posting. Our marketing department uses it to manage social media (comments from customers, shares, etc.) and schedule their posts.,It helps to have everything together (mentions, inbox, etc.) Lets you publish in bulk Possibility to schedule in advance your posts,Difficult to set up and to use Bulk composer is still in BETA and has a lot of problems,8,4,Save us A LOT of time! Instead of manually posting everything we use the bulk composer.Hootsuite for private and company rental managementWe use Hootsuite to advertise for our residential rental properties and promote our company as well. Hootsuite is great for targeting locals and the surround area that are looking for rental properties. This software is commonly used by the middle age demographic that we are aiming for as renters. The marketing department typically uses the software to advertise daily. It is great for promoting and advertising our business.,Targets the desired audience that mostly use this website. Helps narrow down your needs and wants in a home. Provides many different cities, towns and areas of the country.,Expensive reports for small businesses. Custom URL shorteners are pricey.,10,,We have had numerous clients discover our company through this website. About 20% of our incoming calls are from people seeing our ads on Hootsuite.,Hootsuite Makes Social Management EasyAt my old organization, we used Hootsuite as a social media management tool in the marketing department, specifically as it relates to Twitter. Just using Twitter alone is fine, but Hootsuite allowed us to see mentions, interaction, etc. all in one view. No need to flip back between pages; it makes managing a social account easy. In my current role, I use Hootsuite to manage my clients' social media channels similar to my previous role. When our team presented our clients with social platform management options, all of them opted for Hootsuite and have been extremely happy with the data, management, and ease of use that Hootsuite allows.,Easy to interact with other users or consumers--fast. Hootsuite allows a real-time feed like Twitter used to have. Notifications are more easily seen. Easy to monitor all aspects of social, including through multiple accounts. Did someone mention your account(s)? There's a panel for that. Only want to see specific content? You're able to create data profiles on whatever you choose. What to minter multiple accounts at once? Done. Scheduling tweets are easy, which means you can fully develop your social calendar and not have to worry about taking a break from your dinner to send out that 6 pm tweet.,When scheduling tweets, it can be easy to hit the wrong button and send the tweet out immediately. Would love to see better design to avoid that. With so much data on the screen, sometimes it can look overwhelming and, maybe this is just me, quite ugly. Personal preference, sure, but I would love to see a cleaner looking design.,9,7,Hootsuite has definitely helped save time, which translates to a more productive team.,Sprout Social and Iconosquare,Iconosquare, Box, BlueJeansFantastic social scheduling toolAs a marketing agency that offers social media management services, Hootsuite was used to manage and schedule social posts across Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn for both the agency itself and for several clients. Several people used the account - it was most useful for scheduling and reviewing posts ahead of time, and the deck to see what activity was happening on your profiles was also very useful.,Scheduling - easy to see what is being scheduled at what time and across which platforms. Reliable too. Good dashboard, customisable feeds (like Tweet deck, but across all social platforms) to monitor multiple streams in one place. Good team management so multiple people can use it. Can review scheduled posts before they are sent out.,Sometimes a preview is not entirely true/detailed. e.g. when you schedule a twitter post, you can't see what image it will automatically pull through. This means that sometimes it doesn't pull through anything and you have a grey broken link icon next to your tweet which does not look professional! It can take a while to upload images - slow loading time. Have had problems when scheduling LinkedIn posts - sometimes doesn't pull link through properly (runs into the text next to it, even when on a new line) and have had instances when images haven't pulled through either.,8,5,Have used to attract new business Good uptake on content shared through hootsuite,Dropbox for Business, WordPress, EvernoteGreat product, great peopleWe use Hootsuite Enterprise in order for our PR, social media, and communications teams to collaborate globally.,Hootsuite does a great job of listening to their customers. Their account reps are great and always keep us in the loop of the product roadmap. Hootsuite is always striving to improve their product. Hootsuite makes it easy to switch back and forth between profiles, accounts, and users.,Hootsuite has some bugs, nothing huge, but a few things that impact workflow. Slow loading times, streams that won't connect, etc.,8,,Hootsuite Enterprise simplified our workflow and allowed us to collaborate with different teams easily,Google Drive, Google Forms,Not Sure,Price Product Features Product Reputation Positive Sales Experience with the Vendor,We would reduce the number of seats our org purchased but we would still go with Hootsuite Enterprise.

Hootsuite Review: "Engage and interact successfully with a social marketing tool that actually plays well with others."

With the scheduling feature, my team is allowed to manage most social network tasks in minimal time- all at glance.
  • Hootsuite Pro excels with their dashboard organization.
  • Unlike other social tools, Hootsuite Pro has an extensive app directory that allows brands to include tumblr, blogger, sound cloud, stumble upon, Pinterest via Tailwind in their dashboard.
  • While Hootsuite offers several packages, marketing bundles, services, and add-ons, to accommodate larger companies at an enterprise level also- - the Pro package is perfect for small to mid-level companies with many features and capabilities at a price that beats the cost of most social media marketing tools available.
  • When I first began using Hotsuite Pro, the allowed social accounts were unlimited.
  • Hootsuite Pro only offers one advanced analytics report each month.
  • In the past, Hootsuite Pro included Linked In Company Pages, and groups as well as individual profiles. Pages and groups are no longer included so.
  • LinkedIn is not covered as well as it once was.
Hootsuite Pro is great for scheduling content, engaging with your audience, and building awareness. However, the reporting is minimal so you'll need another tool for analytics and monitoring. The search capabilities are useful but it cannot operate as a true social listening tool with this lack of reporting available in the Pro package.

I use HootSuite Pro on behalf of my clients to post to their various social media outlets. It allows me to generate multiple posts in one location. It also allows me to effectively pre-schedule social media posts days, weeks, or even months ahead of time. It also allows me to monitor their social media feeds and keep up with other employees who made me posting on their behalf.
  • HootSuite pro allowed me to post to multiple social media platforms from one location.
  • HootSuite bro allows me to pre-schedule multiple posts days, weeks, or even months ahead of time.
  • It would be nice if HootSuite bro added more networks such as Pinterest and Snap Chat.
  • It would be really great if HootSuite pro integrated with Facebook messenger.
  • It would be very helpful if Sweet bro integrated with local search Platforms such as Yelp.
HootSuite Pro is well-suited to the busy social media manager who needs to post multiple things in multiple places from one platform.

I use Hootsuite in the department where I work, when tracking different topics of interest at the Twitter level, such as the different updates on minimum wages and the different regularizations and decrees issued by different countries, it is important at the moment to follow up on news.
  • It is useful at the moment to follow up on informative topics, that is, to follow up on media.
  • Customize Hootsuite to your liking and work wherever you want, the interface is very flexible and you have a great freedom to visualize the data in different ways, create lists of themes or media, adapting it to your way of working.
  • Have all the information you need a click away....
  • With the monitoring of social networks you can get key information about your competitors.
  • With Hootsuite, you can manage up to 100 different social networks.
  • You can disseminate several advertising campaigns at the same time.
  • You can promote your company, product or services.
  • You can achieve direct assistance to customers.
Pros:
  • First of all, it's free. You can add up to 5 accounts from different social networks, additionally you can display at the same time on the screen, all the information that you would have to see on twitter, for example, going to the "Connect" tab, mentions, retweets. With 5 columns you can control everything, see your timeline, sent tweets, retweets, etc.
  • You can schedule the tweets. We all know how useful it can be to schedule a tweet when you're on vacation or just out of the office.

Cons:
  • When you select the profile from which you are going to tweet, that action subtracts characters from your tweet. Although it is logical that you encode information and subtract tweets, in 140 characters that we have to express, many times that you take two of them you can disrupt a bit your tweet.
  • You can not see the trending topics, so you have to have an open twitter profile next to you to know which are the trending topics of the moment and study the possibility of publishing a retweet using some of them that could be related to your topic and give more follow up on your tweet.

Our agency has been using HootSuite Pro for about 4 years. The whole organization uses it but mainly my digital marketing team and me.

We have issues posting with Instagram through Hootsuite. To do so, you have to download the Hootsuite app on your phone and then post to Instagram through the app. It's complicated and I wish we could do so from a desktop browser.
  • With HootSuite you can schedule posts ahead of time. It's hard to keep up with social media nowadays, especially if you post a lot for a client (or for yourself) on all different platforms.HootSuite is a great option for people who manage multiple accounts.
  • We're all busy nowadays. You can improve your productivity with Hootsuite which leaves you with time to do other important things for your company and deal with more important matters.
  • FREE for the basic account. The premium account is $19 a month for the basic account for 10 profiles. You can try out premium FREE for a month.
  • Outdated interface on the website. Old look and feel of the website. It needs to be updated to a more modern look. It's outdated and it gets boring to look at.
  • Some reports cost extra, around $50
  • Expensive if you have a bigger team
HootSuite is perfect if you manage more than 1 social media account for your own business or if you manage for other clients. It keeps your social media accounts organized, and it's easy to post and attach image or videos. It may not be suitable for a small business to pay the premium price.

Also, there is quite useful chrome extension that allows me to publish valuable curated content fast.
  • Publishing social media posts
  • Keeping up to date with hashtags and people we follow/would like to follow/ we are interested in
  • Amending link thumbnails and updating their descriptions, it works great for a bit of variety
  • Instagram automated posts are quite painful. There are better programs that do that.
  • The free version has recently implemented a credit system in addition to 3 accounts only. So you get 30 posts and for 3 accounts.
  • Reporting features are a little useless. They are easily available everywhere else, and the number of 'twitter followers' isn't really a report..
Great for scheduling posts on Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter, great for keeping up with the hashtags and great for doing all of the small tasks on the social media side of things.

We are using Hootsuite Pro to schedule and manage our social media campaigns for multiple brands.
  • Scheduling campaigns.
  • Posting to multiple social media accounts.
  • Multiple social media profiles.
  • The interface can be confusing at times.
  • The pricing is a little on the high end.
If you have multiple social media accounts and multiple brands Hootsuite Pro is perfect because it helps you organize everything.

If you have a smaller social media presence you might not need something so robust.

We are a company that manages 5 different brands and we use Hootsuite to help make the social media aspect a lot easier. For the most part, Hootsuite’s platform is quite useful for our day to day activities and we genuinely use it a lot for scheduling upcoming blog posts.
  • Managing multiple social media accounts
  • Providing a platform to manage multiple brands
  • Giving real-time updates of the activity on your social media feeds
  • Should find some way to reintegrate the now out of use Chrome plugin
  • The interface could be a bit more intuitive as right now it appears a bit clustered
  • Provide more robust support options for your clients
If you feel as though your life has become a jumbled mess of switching between tabs, mobile apps, and plugins, then Hootsuite is your answer to some piece of mind. It really is a wonderful way to manage a diverse portfolio of social media accounts.

Hootsuite Pro is used as a tool to schedule and monitor Twitter and Instagram mainly. We also use it during Twitter parties and to track hashtags. The newly added feature to schedule Instagram posts for biz accounts was a very welcome update.
  • Create streams for multiple accounts and platforms and offer an easy overview
  • Schedule, comment on, like and reshare posts on multiple platforms
  • Track trends, hashtags and search terms in separate column
  • I've used the platform for a long time but do get some resistance sometimes from others saying it's not very user-friendly
  • Maybe add more features to the analytics side
The most used feature for us is scheduled tweets and Instagram posts by far. It's also very practical for twitter parties and tracking hashtags and conversations. Since each platform offers their own analytics we don't use Hootsuite's analytics as much. In the past, we've used it for Facebook pages but I find it easier to work directly on Facebook for that.

Hootsuite Review: "Hoostuite Free - A Must for Start Ups and Small Businesses"

Score 10 out of 10

We used Hoostsuite Free when we first started the business. Pricing is hard to beat, and the time savings is very helpful.
  • For small or startup businesses, time is scarce, and being able to schedule up to 30 messages at one time means you sit down once per month and you are done. Spending one to two hours focussed on content relieves the stress of remembering to log on multiple times per week when other things get in the way.
  • I also like the analytics, you can log into each social site and look at it, but again that is time that could be spent doing something else. I like seeing how each post is performing over different channels, especially because each channel will vary in the way content is consumed. Very helpful for planning future content and posts.
  • When I was starting up it was nice to have a trusted source of information helping me determine what and how to post to social media, Hootsuite provides some online free courses to help a small startup business get off the ground with what to post. Helping with information on specific social media platforms, optimizing your social media profiles and pages to get more out of social media. Some people tend to think it's just creating a profile and posting, it's way more than that and Hootsuite provides a lot of information for non experts to become proficient for their own business.
  • They have the Hootlet owl that can be used to schedule posts on the fly for Chrome and Firefox browsers. Very helpful, I have noticed it can be quite buggy at times, so I generally don't even use install it or use it. I'd like to see it work better because a small part of posting is done on the fly. But considering it is a free resource I don't complain.
  • I'd love to see a keyword report or hashtag report which is currently not available on the free version, but considering it's free, again I wouldn't complain. When I used the free plan the main goal was to just post content and show more presence that was consistent on multiple channels.
  • When I first signed up there wasn't a lot of information in regards to how the dashboard worked and the functions of streams but I believe they have added more information, for non techy people that may seem a bit confusing at first, but they have added more information in explaining that and the publishing stream.
I would recommend Hoostuite Free for small businesses, start-ups, and people willing to put some time into creating their own social content and not wanting to outsource social media posting. I'd also recommend it for companies needing to learn social media basics as well. Larger companies who have more than three social media profiles and have a budget to run contests and ad campaigns I would recommend upgrading to a pro version and looking to hire a part-time/ full-time social media manager.
Small businesses need to understand that social media posts alone typically won't generate a lot of return on investment by posting alone, unless they have a campaign to go along with it, but also needing to just have regular social posting that shows you are still in business and are relevant to seasonal content will greatly benefit from Hoostuite Free.

Hootsuite Review: "Limited features, dated interface...but hey, it's Free."

Our organization used Hootsuite Free to manage social media channels for our clients. In our case, we had a few different clients that used Hootsuite, but most of my experience is was with one particular client. This was used to help keep track of social posts and social trends for this client.
  • The best strength of Hootsuite is the price. Free is a great price.
  • Built in URL shortener is nice.
  • Support is solid, with real people to speak with.
  • Being a free version, you are limited to just three services.
  • The interface is a bit clunky and feels dated. It feels like it is more for viewing social media than creating posts.
  • It is glitchy at times, and this can be frustrating.
  • The draft mode should have some section to leave notes, but it does not, and requires secondary communication if collaborating.
Hootsuite, being free, is a good choice for someone who is running on a limited budget or testing the waters on a certain brand or product. It allows someone to "get their feet wet" in the social arena. It is less appropriate for a serious social marketer or for those who have the desire to expand beyond the three services that are offered.

We used Hootsuite Free to schedule posts across social media platforms, namely Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn (it doesn't work with Instagram, which was always irritating, but, as I understand it, not entirely Hootsuite's fault/problem). As a marketing department of one, I was the only user. It certainly saved time if the only alternative was crafting each post one at a time per social media platform (which is not the case, in reality) and it offered something in the way of analytics.
  • Scheduling across up to three platforms
  • Basic monitoring across up to three platforms
  • Basic analytics
  • Make friends with Instagram!
  • Not a big fan of the user interface
  • Could improve entry-level reporting
Hootsuite Free is really pretty basic. I never liked it enough to spend money on the upgraded versions, and instead moved to Buffer for scheduling across platforms. If all I wanted to do was monitor social media conversations and schedule a post here and there, Hootsuite Free would work just fine. As it is, other tools work better for what I need to do on a day-to-day basis.

Hootsuite Pro is used daily by my team to ensure that posts are made on time and responded to as well. We utilize Hootsuite Pro to follow conversations, manage mentions and provide overall customer service for our clients' accounts.
  • Schedule posts to go out, making this process a little less hectic.
  • We manage multiple social media accounts and logging into everyone every time is a bit of a hassle. Hootsuite Pro allows us a central point of contact for our client's social media accounts
  • Overall Hootsuite Pro has been a huge time-saver.
  • The calendar layout is a bit "clunky". It would be great to be able to customize the Calendar view so that more of the social media post is visible.
  • It would be amazing if Hootsuite Pro could pull content from a local database or spreadsheet, without having to upload the content. This would really help with evergreen content.
Well suited for consultants who manage multiple clients. I don't think that small business owners really understand how to use Hootsuite Pro effectively. To get the most benefit, it's important to also understand the social media landscape and take the time to post to each channel.

We no longer use Hootsuite Free. I could not use it without getting frustrated.
  • It does have a litany of add-ins which is nice when you know how to use them and when to use them.
  • It has a multitude of options to choose from to add to your dashboards and you can add many of them.
  • It is simple to sign up and get started.
  • It is hard to navigate.
  • I had a hard time with its user interface because I did not like having to scroll from side to side to see information in addition to scrolling up and down.
  • It needs to be more streamlined and easier on the eyes.
I think Hootsuite Free would be great for someone only trying to maintain 1-2 social profiles. I don't find it useful for a business like mine with 6 unique profiles. I might suggest someone to at least try it as a starting point for social management. They can upgrade from there should they have the need to.

I have used the free version of Hootsuite for both personal and professional reasons. On the professional side it was used as a collaboration tool for multiple people to post to social channels at the same time and provide visibility to what was in the queue. It solves the issue of managing multiple social accounts across both people and channels.
  • Easy to use browser and apps to allow for posting.
  • Easy to understand the queue of posts
  • Post once and share across multiple social networks.
  • I would say Hootsuite failed to load about 80% of the time. Not sure what was going on but it was very frustrating.
  • Sometimes if you were sharing an image the image would not show up in the feed (especially on Facebook).
If you are at a small company then give it a try but its not suitable for a large scale enterprise for managing social media. Since there is a free version you can give it a try before investing but I encourage you to test it for stability and consistency before investing in the paid version.

  • Would be nice to add Instagram functionality on, but to be fair that's a limitation of Insta not Hootsuite

Score 6 out of 10

Using Hootsuite allows me to track my posts across multiple platforms so I don't have to use Wordpress's subscription tool. It also offers quite the variety of social media platforms to post on, as well as campaign management.
  • Variety of social media platforms, this allows you to not only track campaigns on Facebook but Twitter, Instagram, etc.
  • As long as you know how to read stats, there is plenty of detail information provided on every one of your campaigns. This stands out against competitors as I feel you receive the most information for your money.
  • The interface is incredibly clunky. I felt that it would struggle often when I would try to complete a campaign.
  • The service is a bit overwhelming to use at the start. If you don't understand many of the features, there are plenty of 3rd party groups to receive information from.
If you are working on brand management across multiple social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Soundcloud, then it would be a great fit for the service's versatility. If you are only working on one platform, you will be better off just focusing on the utilization of the platform's ad service.

We have used Hootsuite free to manage the scheduling, publishing, and monitoring of our Facebook profiles. It is being used by our marketing department as well as our human resources department. Hootsuite free gives us a central location to access our Facebook profiles to make sure that our content writers post content according to our social strategy.
  • Web-based. This is a very big strength because there is no need to download anything, it can all be done on the web.
  • Customer Service and communication. Hootsuite does a very good job of communicating with their customers. If there are ever problems, they are quick to respond and helpful. When it comes to social media, knowing that someone is there to support you when issues arise gives peace of mind.
  • Accessible content. The Hootlet extension allows users to post content from anywhere online for easy content curation.
  • Limited profiles/services. The free service does not allow for more than 3 profiles. This makes it almost unusable for companies who wish to have a presence across the social sphere.
  • Not user-friendly. The organization of the user interface is lacking. It has a difficult learning curve.
  • No post previewing. As a manager, I would like the ability to approve posts before they are sent. It is very easy for posts to slip through and get posted without approval. Either posts are scheduled and missed or they sit in drafts until past the optimal date/time of posting.
  • Adding more users is not included with the free version and can become expensive.
The combination of utilizing the Hootlet add-on and the scheduling feature make posting efficient. However, the hard-to-use interface, limited number of profiles, and lack of multi-user capabilities make the free version of Hootsuite unusable for those wanting to have social presence across all social platforms. The only answer is to upgrade to a paid version of the program or to move to a different one. To be fair, Hootsuite free is not alone in these issues - other social media programs suffer from the same limitations in their free versions (if they even have free versions). However, with the clunky interface and lack of approval features, purchasing an upgraded version would not be my go-to answer. In order to bring Hootsuite free in line as a competitor, the interface would need to be updated to make user functionality the primary goal of the program.

We use Hootsuite Pro in order to monitor and manage multiple clients' social media accounts. I am the main user, although everyone has access to the account.

We are primarily a content creation company, specializing in film and video production, but we offer social media management as an upsell to many of our clients, which they usually are very interested in. Trying to juggle many social profiles is difficult, and monitoring them all is nearly impossible. HootSuite pro allows you to have one look across all platforms and profiles, and saves a ton of time.
  • Excellent social monitoring tool. You can follow hashtags, mentions, and more, and have a "bird's eye view" of it all on one page.
  • Great calendar feature where you can see all your posts laid out on a calendar, rather than just a list or weekly view. This helps with more in-depth campaigns.
  • The mobile app is great to use if you manage Instagram accounts, as it sends notifications and reminders to post at the scheduled times.
  • The layout of HootSuite (both mobile and desktop) leaves much to be desired. It is not pretty, and it doesn't make a lot of visual sense to me.
  • I wish there was an option to post to Instagram automatically, although I know this is really a problem with Instagram, and not with HootSuite.
HootSuite pro is great for social scheduling and monitoring! You can interact via HootSuite, but personally I think it is more appropriate to just organically go on the social platform and interact that way.
It is also better to go on your page every once in a while outside of HootSuite and check on everything - how pictures are displaying, how hashtags are displaying, and if tagged pages are linking to the correct destinations. Sometimes HootSuite can be buggy - not often, but it is worth keeping an eye on!

Overall it is a great tool but we eventually decided to move to something that others in the team could manage as well.
  • All in one place.
  • Easy to schedule posts.
  • Very affordable
  • Too cluttered.
  • Not as intuitive for someone just starting.
  • Not the best UI.
It is good for small agencies looking for an affordable tool to schedule social media posts and track mentions. It is a powerful tool and relatively easy to use once you understand where things are. There is a learning curve to understanding what it can do for you and your clients.

I try to post 2x per week on a regular basis. It's been very user friendly and saves me lots of time manually posting on all of the different sites.
  • Post to multiple sites with ease.
  • Work on the go with the app.
  • Schedule posts in the future.
  • When scheduling a post, it would be nice to be able to post to Twitter in the same window, because Twitter requires less text.
  • Emailed reminders if no more posts are scheduled.
  • More webinars for how to maximize your use of Hootsuite, such as reporting.
Small businesses and large businesses. I wouldn't use it personally though.

Hootsuite Review: "A must for Social Media posting!"

Posting on Social Media multiple times a day, several days a week can be complicated. Hootsuite makes everything easier! A hub to manage different social media and bulk posting. Our marketing department uses it to manage social media (comments from customers, shares, etc.) and schedule their posts.
  • It helps to have everything together (mentions, inbox, etc.)
  • Lets you publish in bulk
  • Possibility to schedule in advance your posts
  • Difficult to set up and to use
  • Bulk composer is still in BETA and has a lot of problems
If you post many times on social media it's a must! We tweet more than 20 times a day, every day of the week. Without Hootsuite it would take me forever to post everything. Now I can schedule everything for the week.

Review: "Hootsuite for private and company rental management"

We use Hootsuite to advertise for our residential rental properties and promote our company as well. Hootsuite is great for targeting locals and the surround area that are looking for rental properties. This software is commonly used by the middle age demographic that we are aiming for as renters. The marketing department typically uses the software to advertise daily. It is great for promoting and advertising our business.
  • Targets the desired audience that mostly use this website.
  • Helps narrow down your needs and wants in a home.
  • Provides many different cities, towns and areas of the country.
  • Expensive reports for small businesses.
  • Custom URL shorteners are pricey.
Hootsuite free is great for private renters to promote their own properties & not have to deplete their funds on advertising.

User Review: "Hootsuite Makes Social Management Easy"

Score 9 out of 10

At my old organization, we used Hootsuite as a social media management tool in the marketing department, specifically as it relates to Twitter. Just using Twitter alone is fine, but Hootsuite allowed us to see mentions, interaction, etc. all in one view. No need to flip back between pages; it makes managing a social account easy.

In my current role, I use Hootsuite to manage my clients' social media channels similar to my previous role. When our team presented our clients with social platform management options, all of them opted for Hootsuite and have been extremely happy with the data, management, and ease of use that Hootsuite allows.
  • Easy to interact with other users or consumers--fast. Hootsuite allows a real-time feed like Twitter used to have. Notifications are more easily seen.
  • Easy to monitor all aspects of social, including through multiple accounts. Did someone mention your account(s)? There's a panel for that. Only want to see specific content? You're able to create data profiles on whatever you choose. What to minter multiple accounts at once? Done.
  • Scheduling tweets are easy, which means you can fully develop your social calendar and not have to worry about taking a break from your dinner to send out that 6 pm tweet.
  • When scheduling tweets, it can be easy to hit the wrong button and send the tweet out immediately. Would love to see better design to avoid that.
  • With so much data on the screen, sometimes it can look overwhelming and, maybe this is just me, quite ugly. Personal preference, sure, but I would love to see a cleaner looking design.
Hootsuite is great if you want to monitor one or more accounts. Specifically, if you are trying to build out a social calendar. Hootsuite makes it easy to develop a thorough content calendar while also promoting/posting things in real-time. If you want to boost interaction with consumers/followers, Hootsuite makes it easy to see mentions and interaction and then tweet back to other users.

If you are unsure of your social goals, I would say Hootsuite might not be for you, as it pertains to more advanced levels of social media marketing.

Hootsuite Review: "Fantastic social scheduling tool"

As a marketing agency that offers social media management services, Hootsuite was used to manage and schedule social posts across Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn for both the agency itself and for several clients. Several people used the account - it was most useful for scheduling and reviewing posts ahead of time, and the deck to see what activity was happening on your profiles was also very useful.
  • Scheduling - easy to see what is being scheduled at what time and across which platforms. Reliable too.
  • Good dashboard, customisable feeds (like Tweet deck, but across all social platforms) to monitor multiple streams in one place.
  • Good team management so multiple people can use it.
  • Can review scheduled posts before they are sent out.
  • Sometimes a preview is not entirely true/detailed. e.g. when you schedule a twitter post, you can't see what image it will automatically pull through. This means that sometimes it doesn't pull through anything and you have a grey broken link icon next to your tweet which does not look professional!
  • It can take a while to upload images - slow loading time.
  • Have had problems when scheduling LinkedIn posts - sometimes doesn't pull link through properly (runs into the text next to it, even when on a new line) and have had instances when images haven't pulled through either.
It's really great for social scheduling - especially if you have lots of accounts you're managing, so is good for agency use. Beware though - you need to ensure that you send the right post from the right channel or you may end up sending another client's tweet from a different social profile (easily done.)

Hootsuite Review: "Great product, great people"

We use Hootsuite Enterprise in order for our PR, social media, and communications teams to collaborate globally.
  • Hootsuite does a great job of listening to their customers. Their account reps are great and always keep us in the loop of the product roadmap.
  • Hootsuite is always striving to improve their product.
  • Hootsuite makes it easy to switch back and forth between profiles, accounts, and users.
  • Hootsuite has some bugs, nothing huge, but a few things that impact workflow. Slow loading times, streams that won't connect, etc.
Hootsuite is great for managing multiple profiles or using social media on behalf of other people or organizations. It's not always great for testing different social media functionalities, Facebook posting, or Instagram posting.
