(1-25 of 73)Hootsuite for private and company rental management

- Helps narrow down your needs and wants in a home.
- Provides many different cities, towns and areas of the country.
- Expensive reports for small businesses.
- Custom URL shorteners are pricey.
Hootsuite is great for multiple social media accounts
When it came to analytics, there were a lot of premade templates or you could customize dashboards to see data that was unique to you. You were able to select which profiles you wanted in your data and could add or remove profiles with a click of a button! The data was overall good. There were a few things with ad spend that were harder to track in Hootsuite (would need to track in Meta instead).
Hootsuite's customer service was decent. However, there were a lot of times they didn't know the answer and would take days to get a response from someone who did.
- Easy to create, edit, and draft post
- Analytics
- Lots of webinars to learn more about the product
- Customer Service and account executives: I had 3 different AEs within 1 year and the customer service didn't always know the answers to my questions
- The ability to move posts in the calendar monthly view
- The social listening tool: you can see what's going on in your industry or if people are talking about your brand
Hootsuite - The Biggest Name in Content Management
Some areas that Hootsuite helps to improve are analytics, scheduling, and inbox management. Firstly, Hootsuite has an in-depth analytics capability for social media platforms. This tool helps me understand which KPI's are most important for our organization. These reports are useful for the Executive level as well to see the ROI for social media. Secondly, the scheduling aspect helps to cut down on time it takes to post to multiple channels. Lastly, the inbox management makes it easy to tag certain messages with importance or topics to address specific messages at a timely manner.
- Scheduling of content. The ease of use for Hootsuite's planner abilities is top of the industry. It is simple and effective in posting content to different channels and accounts.
- Analytics are superior on Hootsuite. Their custom reports allow you to view very specific KPI's that you can adjust for each channel or account. The reports are also exportable to be used for others in the company.
- Inbox management. The inbox manager is superior to any in the industry. Hootsuite allows you to tag certain phrases or keywords to better filter messages based on importance or topic.
- TikTok is an area for improvement as it's newer to Hootsuite. It would be beneficial to be able to link non-business profiles on TikTok to Hootsuite as many businesses use personal accounts to access TikTok's expansive music library.
- Hootsuite does have room to improve the analytics capabilities. There could be more ways to customize each aspect of their reports. There isn't much manipulation of data in each type of data set.
- Simplicity is an area of improvement for Hootsuite. The streams are one example of an area that is super cluttered and difficult to view. Their platform could really use an aesthetic overhaul to make things look more pleasing.
If you are someone who doesn't create and post the content yourself, it isn't necessary for this instance. You can get analytics in the Instagram app, and the inbox management, streams, and scheduling won't be as beneficial for you.
Social media management at its best!
- Social media management
- Reputation management
- Incident management
- Pricing could be better
- UX is a little cumbersome
Hootsuite Review
- User-Friendly interface.
- Organized
- Social Media ready
- Pre-planning capabilities
- Great AI suggestions on posts
- Customization options for the customer
- Fix how often linkedin gets disconnected from the platform
- Variety of social media platforms, this allows you to not only track campaigns on Facebook but Twitter, Instagram, etc.
- As long as you know how to read stats, there is plenty of detail information provided on every one of your campaigns. This stands out against competitors as I feel you receive the most information for your money.
- The interface is incredibly clunky. I felt that it would struggle often when I would try to complete a campaign.
- The service is a bit overwhelming to use at the start. If you don't understand many of the features, there are plenty of 3rd party groups to receive information from.

- LinkedIn Carousel: We cannot post LinkedIn Carousels using Hootsuite, would be awesome if they can implement this feature.
- Similar to my last point there should be an option for sharing converting the PDFs to the pictures when sharing on other platforms (in case of posting multiple series of pictures) i.e. If we provide multiple pictures, the algorithm has to smart enough to understand that we are trying to post a carousel, so it optimizes the images for the specific platforms and help us to schedule the posts.
Hootsuite - might be great for you.
This helped us schedule out and plan ahead for posts and on multiple channels to stay engaged early and often
- Scheduling
- multichannel
- recommending hashtags
- AI
- Scheduling Posts across channels.
- Managing differences in design for different social channels.
- Easy to access a list of scheduled posts to edit before launch.
- A better calendar that was accessible to a broader audience would allow us to eliminate our own internal calendaring system. Our internal system needs to be available to marketing leads across all of our businesses to align content calendars.
Hootsuite review- an interesting viewpoint
- In-depth social media analytics across all platforms to give complete perspective
- Competitive intel and market updates through social listening
- Hootsuite academy is a great resource to learn more about latest trends and techniques in social media management
- Set up process can be seamless, it is difficult to configure in self serve mode
- Pricing is very high and can be made more affordable for smaller companies
- Unable to tag people on images on social media and has to be done manually
Hootsuite helped my performance
- Ease of use
- Ability to customize posts
- Integrations with other technologies
- Expensive Analytics Reports
- Owly Short Links
- Some image quality
Best platform to plan all your business social media posts
- Schedule your social media posts
- plan your content calendar
- analytics in one-stop
- helps to create strategy and plan your posts accordingly.
- Sometimes it can be difficult to find draft posts after saving them.
- pricing factor for small business
- can improve a space for better analytics
It is surely (hoot)suit-able for you!
- Scheduling content.
- Reporting ads.
- Social media listening.
- Technical issues.
- More info about annual roadmap.
- Better support and problem solving.
- More custom options.
"Absolutely Excellent Social Media Management Product"
- schedule multiple posts in advance
- easier to post multiple photos
- navigate my company's social media in the most time-efficient
- able to plan ahead, spot any trends or issues easily and have automated reports
- Hootsuite is that the integration of new features can sometimes be slower than that of it's competitors.
- Is excessively expensive, even with the discounts made for buying several memberships.
- High cost, complex functionalities and few integration capabilities with CRM or BI software.
Give it a go!
- Customize dashboard
- How it schedules/looks for posting on LinkedIn company pages
- Shows if other accounts have mentioned you
- Easy log in using your social media account
- limited number of posts scheduled on the basic version
- limited to a couple of social media accounts on the basic version
Love it
- Posts across more than one platform at once
- Keeps an eye on word limits
- Shortens urls on request
- Schedules posts to be published later
- Making it possible to post a picture when content linked to doesn't provide one
Lives up to its billing
- I can save a draft of a message and quickly access it for future postings whenever I need.
- I'm able to write one message and push it out to three or four platforms at a time, and especially like being able to customize (remove hashtags on Facebook posts).
- The grid view and ability to customize viewing windows mean I never miss a mention of our municipality on social media. It catches things the main platforms themselves don't.
- I wish I could have Hootsuite automatically delete hashtags from my Facebook posts, which would save me having to delete them manually before hitting post to multiple accounts.
- Hootsuite doesn't work great when trying to add multiple photos to an Instagram post.
- I wish there was an ability to have notifications from accounts pop up or somehow notify me elsewhere on my computer. You might need an app rather than a browser window to accomplish this however.
I can't emphasize enough how important the schedule manager is, either. We regularly have dozens of posts planned.
- Easy to populate schedule/calendar
- Finds photos associated with links automatically
- Suggests times my users are online
- I am not able to repost an item and simultaneously change the bitly link. Harder to track posts that are essentially the same but are going to different audiences. I have to recreate the post from scratch to do that. I wish I could repost a post and customize the back end of the owly so I can see just by looking at the owly what post it was and where I posted it. For example, I would love to post my newsletter using an owly link like: ow.ly/NLpediatricOTtwitter and then repost it (from the original post by renaming the link to ow.ly/NLpedatricPTtwitter etc....... It's impossible for me to easily compare the performance of a single post across multiple social medial platforms or accounts
- Analytics are clunky and hard to manipulate.
- I wish they would increase the size of scheduling time (hour, minute, am, or pm) drop-down boxes. I have to click and scroll to find times later in the day. Every click matters.
- It would save clicks if you could navigate from one social media account to another without clicking a dropdown box and then scrolling. It would be great to be able to assign "favorites" that you can check and uncheck from the main planner/calendar view.
- Scheduling
- Reliable
- URL shortening
- The weird content scheduling thing that just changed. I've given it the old college try several times, but I can no longer drag and drop posts, which drives me nuts.
- The whole 'posting score' thing is incomprehensible and needless. I have no idea why some days I score 88, but other days score 54 when I know my daily posting schedule is really consistent.
- I have never had a good experience with customer service. This seems to be because I'm some kind of weird unicorn who only needs one seat/login but manages 50 accounts. No one on the Hootsuite end seems to know what to do with me and is never able to answer my questions. In every case, the interaction has ended with the Hootsuite person basically saying, "Oh my god, you have so many accounts! You should be on a more expensive plan!"
- Since a more expensive plan would render the social media part of my business significantly less profitable (no one wants to pay real $ for social media management), my approach at the moment is simply to never contact Hootsuite customer service. If I have a question, I take it to Reddit.
I will say - since I don't want to be entirely snarky - Hootsuite is pretty easy to use, so when I've needed to take a week or two off, I've been able to delegate my work to my assistant pretty easily.
FishMySpot Is Hooked On Hootsuite
- Customization to the needs of the company; the product is not a one-size fits all
- Data that provides specific details regarding each channel utilized, along with the most followed post, engagement, date, times, etc.
- Ability to follow streams/ key hashtags to assist with the growth of users
- When on mobile, and trying to post multiple photos on Instagram- you have to open the app, and copy and paste the post and photos- it is quite annoying. This may not be a Hootsuite issue.
A good entry level tool for social media management.
- Templates - Creative templates available are very good.
- User experience is really easy to navigate.
- Product road map and upgrades are good.
- I feel the pricing can be better matched in terms of added services and add ons of the product.
- The support provided can be better.
- I feel the platform can customize solutions by industry and verticals.
Hootsuite: For All Shapes & Sizes
- Organizing scheduled content
- Keeping an eye on competition & trends
- Combining all of our social metrics in one place
- Sentiment analysis is useful, but could offer more detail
- Analytics can be lacking (Pro version)
A complete package to handle all online operation related to social media platforms.
- Complete analysis of all data collected from different social media accounts that allow us to check where our audience engaged more.
- Easy to customize dashboard according to the user’s preference.
- Efficient integration with other application like Instagram and Twitter.
- The price plan of this software doesn’t suit everyone’s budget plan.
- Semi customizable dashboard which restrict user to use it to its full potential.
- The software doesn’t operate smoothly in mobile as it operates in computer.
