Used an app called OneUp at first for same purpose. Then received an email stating they were placed in FaceBook jail. So I googled and found you/Hootsuite. It was a must have for multiple locations.

I found SocialBee to be much more complex to use and had more trouble using it. It does have some useful concierge add-ons, but to be honest, they weren't things that I would have used. The ease of use of Hootsuite was the decisive factor for me in the end.

Hootsuite specializes in this activity. It is not just one of several activities it performs. This specialization makes it more intuitive and easy to navigate/use.

Hootsuite is easy to navigate and very beginner-friendly. It quickly builds an algorithm, allows for bulk scheduling, and saves plenty of time. This app's connectedness to most social media platforms, including being able to schedule stories makes it another go-to. For the average social media manager, Hootsuite is sure to make the job more bearable. So, you work smarter, not harder.

Honestly, it's been years since I used anything but Hootsuite. About five years ago, I did a bit of a vendor analysis and concluded that for my needs (which are primarily high-volume, high number of social media accounts), Hootsuite is the most cost-efficient option. However, let's face it: That's because my monthly fee is a lower, grandfathered rate.

Ultimately, we selected Hootsuite for the benefits-to-cost ratio it had. Sprout Social has an incredibly robust platform with great social listening, a nice scheduling calendar, and a lot of metrics you can view, plus team post creation and approval flows. It's an impressive platform but was far beyond our budget range. Later is a nice platform for Instagram, but ultimately the only truly outstanding features it had (when I evaluated it) were the ability to look at how your profile grid would lay out and the ability to have a uni-link that lets users click to destinations from images that are a duplicate of your feed. Great additional features, to be sure, but they were not important enough for my team to pay for a platform when we can use Meta Business for free since scheduling is currently our biggest concern. I used HubSpot Marketing Hub at a previous company. It was convenient for management to be able to see what was going out since they already did most of their work in Hubspot. It was a fairly basic platform that only allowed for scheduling normal feed posts.

We prefer to use Hootsuite for socials and Mailchimp for email. Both have great features, but we like to keep these separated. It just works out better for our team this way, as we don't want too many hands on the email side of things.

Hootsuite is better than Buffer in many ways. Its dashboard is simple to use, its data tracking is better than the buffer, its scheduling functionality is more advanced, and its user interface is more friendly. Hootsuite supports all social media profile integration. Data analytics reporting of Hootsuite makes it the best.

I only use the free versions. I have found it to be the best in this free area. I appreciate the ability to use it right away without having to commit to major marketing uploads, or info needed at the start.

Hootsuite provides good reporting and learning the interface doesn't take a lot of time. This makes it easy to get started and further tweak your social dashboard as you grow your social media presence. It is also more feature-rich compared to a number of other social media management tools on the market.

In my opinion, Hootsuite is like a social media version of Mailchimp. I have not looked into many alternative software programs, as I've inherited Hootsuite in my role and saw no need to change. Hootsuite does what I need it to do at a reasonable price point. There may be others out there who do it better, but Hootsuite fills my need so I don't worry about looking elsewhere.

I've just started using Sprout Social so it's hard for me to make a comparison. So far both platforms have their advantages and disadvantages in their usage. I'd say right now I'm about to split on using either or. I've used Hootsuite a lot longer so my knowledge and ease of usage are far more comfortable.

They all have the same basic features and functionality with slightly different UX and specialties. It really comes down to which social media platforms matter to you most and how you prefer the internal workflows to be. The pricing differs for each platform as you scale the numbers of users as well.

Comparably, Sprout would be similar from a cost point but its interface is much smoother. Falcion.io is also similar, however, they have poor customer support.
