Companies can't remove reviews or game the system. Here's why

Any organization having a busy social desk can consider Hootsuite. It can help scheduling the posts for the day, week, month. There are some bottlenecks present, as it cannot post all kinds of media, but it does the job for most areas. Even for the reporting it provides all kinds of reporting parameters to choose from, pick whatever you like and include in your social media report. Customize it in your way. And the analytics can help you to take better decision for the future.

Hootsuite is great if you have multiple people involved in the approval process to see content before it is published. It can be scheduled, someone can review/approve. There is integration between posts and Canva, which we use to access images. We can see what our competitors are posting and what their engagement rates are. The best thing about Hootsuite is that all of your social channels can be monitored in one place. The analytics are very good.

I worked at an agency so it was great to be able to have an interface that is easily switched. I think that it is better for in-house though in terms of the pricing plan. It is great for organic posting and being able to post across platforms and shortens time

From my experience, I would say that the size of the company is a good indicator of how much resources can be dedicated to social media, and what outcomes you expect and thus want to track. SME have probably better options than Hootsuite, which might end up looking like over-engineered to just post on social networks. On the other hand, to manage different teams across different entities accros the world, with different level of access and rights, and use social media as a core part of the demand generation process, it is a great tool.

It is really helpful for a digital agency that has multiple clients that must manage multiple platforms. It makes it easy to store images in one spot and share them across all. However, it has gotten very expensive to use, and things like analytics reports are often add-ons as well. There are other platforms that would be better for someone that just manages their own accounts, or just has a couple to manage.

Hootsuite is well suited for taking a piece of organic content and customizing it to be well leveraged across multiple social channels all in one environment. It is not well suited for broad-based reader access, so the whole marketing org does not have a line of sight as to what social posts are going out, when, and where.

Hootsuite is extreme delight in situations where there are too many social media platforms to manage and rapid and tailored content deployment across social media channels according to platform needs. It is particularly very useful for big brands and consumer brands with a large target audience. It is cumbersome to use for tagging oriented posts as this has to be done manually.

It is less appropriate to use to schedule stories and reels. Too often reels fail more than they actually work.

Hootsuite is appropriate to use for proposal submissions. It is also appropriate to use to schedule posts or draft posts. My client's like to see posts scheduled ahead of time. It's easy to plan ahead and focus on the day to day tasks.

Hootsuite is great for teams that manage multiple accounts and have multiple people working on them. The capabilities for community management could be improved as of right now, it's a little limited.

If you need a basic tool that will allow you to schedule posts and measure performance, then Hootsuite is a great economical option. I'm in a very small organization, so a tool like Sprout is out of the question due to expense. I also have my time divided among several channels, social being only one of them, and the ability to mass upload/schedule saves me a lot of time vs. scheduling in platform (which you still cannot do in LinkedIn).

Hootsuite is well suited for companies that need to automate their scheduling and reporting on social media and are getting started in streamlining their operations. It is simple enough to get people used to social media reporting and scheduling, and intuitive enough to help streamline processes. They have a good knowledge base where users can get better get acquainted with the tool's features.

Hootsuite is well-suited for clients who want to give you the reigns to manage social media without their input. It's easy to use, there are several resources and courses to use it better, and they're constantly making upgrades to help you along the way.

The free version is best suited to small businesses starting on a small budget and has enough to start, but the price jump to Professional is reasonably priced, however, it does not include some features of other platforms in this category and price range. So depending on your budget Hootsuite might not be for you unless you have a decent size marketing budget. I would recommend for any small business starting out to try the Trial and see if it is for you, for a small business the Professional version should be all you need.

Hootsuite allows me to not only schedule posts for the future, but also edit the content. This is particularly helpful when I am working on social media content for the week, as I can do it all in one go. Hootsuite makes it easy to either create unique posts for multiple platforms or duplicate content that has already been posted.

It's excellent for a small business to start with the free version, to see the benefits and see its business growing by using Hootsuite. In the case of a big company with more than one team collaborating on Digital marketing, Hootsuite is a must (sharing, scheduling, monitoring, and saving time).

Hootsuite is well suited to stay within a tight budget. It provides most, if not all, of the functionality a business would need to stay on top of their social accounts. There are a lot of choices when it comes to social media management tools. Some may have more features, while others have less. We feel that it has the right balance of features and price point for our needs.
