Hotjar is being used by the CRO team. We then use it on our client's websites to educate and inform them of any areas of opportunity. Other teams such as Client Services use Hotjar, however they browse rather than set anything up via the tool.

Hotjar helps to view any problems with the site, any areas that could be improved, or any issues that users are having with particular pages/fields.

Hotjar is used with the purpose of collecting continual user feedback, which is important for any product to listen to the user's voice, especially to pain points. This capture of user sentiment over time, in recurring surveys or video recordings, is crucial for teammates who work in product, design, or engineering to make decisions on how to innovate their product for a better user experience.

We use it to understand how users behave within a wireframe/mockup. The service provides a Heatmap: it allows to see what captures users' attention. It allows observing movements, u-turns, and rage clicks. But most importantly it gives us back Feedback so that we can hear what users actually think about each of our pages.

We use it to monitor user experiences on our website and gather feedback. We also use it to gather feedback from our members as they use our new membership portal. The intel we gather helps us to determine what is working and not working and to show results to leadership.

While trying to address difficulties in product adoption we decided to start with hotjar. This allowed the product team to get feedback on new & old features, but also us, Customer Success Managers, to review the clients' behavior on the website, see if they were taking the right steps in order to cover their needs and proactively assist them in case they were not utilizing the product in the best way possible.

Right now we use Hotjar for a handful of functions. If we need quick insights about a new feature we're building, we'll use the survey option to share our questions with our customers right from within the platform. We also use Hotjar's recordings to better understand what our users are doing and how they are interacting with our product. We've made significant discoveries from just doing that. We also use heatmaps as well, although probably not as effective as we should.

We use Hotjar to track user behaviour on our website in order to streamline the overall user journey on our site. Hotjar allows us to see what the user is doing and where they encounter any possible "roadblocks" in their interaction with our website. Based on the results, we can carry out optimisations to the content layout and call-to-action incentives where needed.

We use Hotjar to understand users' behavior within a hundred sites and provide them a better experience and also to identify points to improve. Also, there are some of our sites where we ask users to share their opinion so then we can develop better solutions.

We are using Hotjar since the very initial days to track users' behavior on our website and app. With every new feature release, we get to know about users' drop points and usability metrics. It really helped us in minimizing drops by improvising designs.

We currently use Hotjar to gather survey information on our acne line for Aloette.com. We are trying to understand who has and hasn't used the products as well as offering a discount to anyone who participates in the survey and enters their email. We utilize these insights to inform our overall marketing decisions on our acne line.

We use Hotjar for analyzing both landing pages we need to test for different campaigns, and also for the rest of the website for ongoing measurements. Also, we use the recordings tool to analyze individual behaviors to see if there are any particular roadblocks. And when we need to conduct a quantitative survey we also use the survey tool.

We were looking for a tool to have a subjective analysis of our website like heat maps, session recordings etc. These are critical for us as product team to see how the website is being used and how can we bring about changes to increase engagement and conversions. Business problems like lower conversions, higher acquisition costs due to high bounce rate etc were burning issues which were able to pinpoint to certain problem areas using Hotjar and thus being incremental improvements.

We make use of Hotjar for both ourselves and clients, for two main things. Though I mainly use the recordings section to gauge user behavior on our paid-search landing pages, we also use the heatmaps on our and clients' websites to see where we're losing people and to see which elements on the pages are most important, and which are being completely overlooked. We use the recordings with clients to show them the efficacy of long-form landing pages

We used Hotjar to analyze the user behavior on our website and improve the user experience as much as possible. This improvement process will never end as we develop our product day by day. We used it to give more accessibility to our users to find what they need quickly. The enhancements helped us to attract more customers!

I specifically use the heat maps and other data to help me understand how my users are interacting with my website and it helps me understand where I can make changes, for example on my sales page or on one of my blogs. Once I understand how they use it then I make the change and record it again.

We are using Hotjar to record user behavior and make changes to our website design accordingly. It is used by the SEO team only to analyze the interactions. It's really helpful to reduce our bounce rate and CTR on pages as we can see how far a user scrolls on a page and what button people click on.

Hotjar is primarily used by the marketing team, though there are instances where this can be shared with the technology team when investigating how a user experiences a problem or issue on the website. The recordings help solve issues like front-end issues, or UX by indicating interactions with a form field, for example. It provides you with a detailed report on where a visitor is struggling to move forward by looking at how they interact with the different elements on the site. You could really go very detailed in the investigation.
