HPE ProLiant DL

This equipment works very well in environments for virtualization of services and applications such as call managers and contact centers. It has allowed customers to grow their services without the need to change equipment, contemplating maximum expansion in memory or storage, making use of its long useful life and fabric support.

Well-supported by the major virtualization vendors. HP has pre-configured VMWare downloads for ProLiant servers ready to install and run. The iLO and system firmware are tough to update, otherwise they're a snap.

We have been using these servers for many years now and we have used different generations of this product line. We have never faced a catastrophic issue using these and even the smaller issues that we have faced have been dealt with by the technical support team of HP. They have been a reliable partner in our data center.

Usability is generally good. I mostly like to use the management interface on HPE servers. GUI is well placed and provides easy access to management and reporting. Firmware upgrade is usually smooth, drivers install correctly and provide good quality of service. We have enough ports and interfaces to connect to the servers and some room to upgrade.

ILO interface is easy to access and use.

HPE ProLiant DL are very simple to implement, use, configure and troubleshoot and also the operational support and self maintenance is very easy. The servers are very much useful for various type of applications and vender ecosystems. The reliability and performance throughput of the product is very high. The migration and upgrade of the products are also very easy.

HPE makes it very easy to use almost all its products and ProLiant DL line is not different in any way. To the point, almost anyone with some minimal knowledge can deploy a Proliant, and again because reliability is great, there are not many issues to deal with, which in exchange, makes usability top notch.

Excellent performing servers. If one were to maintain, clean, and keep them in a temperature-controlled environment, the servers will run forever and will be very reliable. The remote management makes them ideal for increased usability and lower support costs.

The HPE DL is a very easy device to navigate and utilize. Of course, as all things, it takes some getting used to but afterwards, there are no issues.

Once they're set up, you almost forget they're in your datacenter because they don't need a lot of attention. Exactly as a server should be.
