We use HubSpot to market our agency. We use the HubSpot COS for our site (great decision, we switched from WordPress). It makes things scalable, reduces onboarding time for new employees (being an incredibly user-friendly platform), and has helped our agency to grow at an exponential rate.
  • HubSpot's site pages are my favorite. We previously used WordPress, which was slow to update and took hours to make edits on, and required advanced knowledge to make small changes. Site pages has allowed anyone in our company to make changes and updated pages as needed because the platform is easy to learn and intuitive.
  • The blogging platform is great.
  • HubSpot's email has gotten faster this year. There used to be a lag for receiving emails immediately (up to 15 minutes for some API tie-ins) but it is much faster now.
  • Social publishing is super easy. If you already create your content in HubSpot, there is no need to use a secondary platform to syndicate content on social.
  • Honestly, every frustration I've ever had with HubSpot has been able to be solved by calling their customer support. Their support team is the best I've ever worked with.
  • It would be great if HubSpot could add more social monitoring for platforms other than Twitter. Facebook and Instagram would be awesome, but some of that is not necessarily up to HubSpot.
We ask clients what they will be using it for. It is less suitable if you are only looking to do one thing, like email. If you are looking to do just email, use something like Iterable or MailChimp instead.

HubSpot is being used by our agency both internally and as a tool to service our clients. It is being used by multiple departments across the organization: Sales, Marketing, Marketing Services and Design Departments. We are attracting traffic, generating contacts, and closing customers for our clients and our agency.
  • Email Automation - effective and user friendly
  • Database Segmentation - for refined and targeted marketing
  • Campaign Tracking - being able to monitor all assets of a campaign in one easy-to-manage view
  • Reporting and Analytics - reporting attributed to each channel, at a contact level
  • Social Media Publishing - simple and straight forward
  • Implement search tool on HubSpot COS pages (including blog)
  • Add social monitoring on more networks than just Twittter
  • Ability to post on more social network platforms
HubSpot is well suited for companies who want to do inbound marketing the right way, with all the tools at their disposal. HubSpot is appropriate for companies who are willing to invest to generate real results.

HubSpot is not appropriate for companies who can't put resources into inbound marketing. It's a time investment, and companies should either be equipped to invest time in executing inbound marketing deliverables or hiring a HubSpot partner agency to do the execution for them.

Our company has been using HubSpot for a few years now. This is the perfect marketing software and it has all the tools that you need to be successful online : blog, e-mail, social media, SEO, reports, landing pages, forms, call-to-action, lead generation.

For as low as $200 a month, you can get all those tools, integrated with the same platform, and get started with Inbound Marketing, which is the key to getting results online. It is a very easy to use and they have the best customer service I've seen so far. Plus, they keep making it even better, every week, pushing new updates, new integrations and new ways of making sure their software is still excellent. I recommend HubSpot to any marketing professional doing business online: you can even start with a free 30-day trial!
  • HubSpot helps our company to get a better web marketing strategy. We can attract new visitors on our website, using the blog, SEO and social media features.
  • HubSpot helps convert those visitors to leads, using forms, CTA (Call-to-action) and landing pages
  • HubSpot helps closing those leads into customers, using email and lead generation features.
  • HubSpot reports could be improved. You will still need to use other analytics tool, such as Google Analytics.
  • HubSpot is only available in English. If you are a multilingual user, you might find it hard to use.
HubSpot is really great for B2B companies. You have all the tools to attract, convert and close leads into customers. This is a user-friendly SAAS platform that makes social media, blog, lead generation and email easier to use. HubSpot is an investment, not an expense. If your team is really committed to inbound marketing, you will get results and a great return on investment.

We use HubSpot internally to manage our own inbound marketing initiatives. We also use HubSpot to manage inbound marketing initiatives for our clients. HubSpot is being used by 12 people in our organization. For many years we have been managing our digital marketing initiatives using multiple software platforms. Additionally, we could not clearly communicate how our initiatives are delivering results for our customers. But the platform made it easy for us to manage all of our digital marketing activities from one platform as well as giving us metrics that we need to communicate success to our customers.
  • Building your website on HubSpot is amazing. It gives you the ability to personalize the user experience for people who are visiting your website.
  • The reporting functionality within HubSpot is awesome. He gives you the ability to see who is visiting your website how many leads you have and how many have converted to customers.
  • The ability to manage your social media presence and HubSpot is a great feature. We have noticed that we now can track how many people are coming back to the website from our social media campaigns and then how many of those are converting into actual leads.
  • One area that HubSpot can improve on is user management. It would be great if HubSpot provided the ability to grant access to people on a page by page level.
  • It would be great if HubSpot had the ability to auto publish social media using an RSS feed.
HubSpot is great for B2B companies that are focused on getting leads. HubSpot may not be the best platform for companies that are very transactional, or that have the need for people to pick up the phone in order to interact with the company.

We use HubSpot to manage and automate interaction with our visitors, leads and customers. I work with a lot of our content, so I use the platform for blogging, managing our larger pieces of content as well as scheduling and monitoring our social media efforts. We create quite a few "smart lists" for segmentation purposes. We use these mostly for emails, but also for targeted calls to action on blog posts and other areas of our website.
  • Education on the product - HubSpot wants you to be using their product to its fullest potential.
  • Ability to segment - There are so many different parameters you can use to segment your contacts.
  • Intuitive and easy to use.
  • Great design templates and guides for optimization.
  • Social publishing tool can be messy - content calendar views are odd at times.
  • Although I don't deal with this aspect, I've heard pricing can be a con.
  • Reporting seems off at times when compared with other analytics tools.
I thoroughly enjoy using HubSpot! It is easy to use, they have content available for any aspect of the tool that I want to learn. Their support has been great any time that I have had an issue (which hasn't been a regular occurrence). There are so many tasks that can be automated that really save time for our smaller team.

We use HubSpot across the whole organization to integrate all of our subsets. It helps us to manage our emails, events, programs and news. We can share materials easily and constantly update, report, dissect and engage with our contacts.
  • Integrations between go-to-webinar and HubSpot are seamless!
  • Email has never been easier. We can track, record and report almost anything we want to.
  • It is user friendly and the customer support is outstanding!
  • Some days the server is slow to respond.
  • You cannot have multiple users on the same page making changes- totally understandable but it just stinks that it doesn't warn you before you start working!!! We've lost some time that way.
  • The updates can be overwhelming sometimes. Luckily when they changed the interface you could toggle back and forth until you felt comfortable making a permanent switch.
If you really need list management HubSpot is definitely for you. It can handle a large scale of contacts and allows you to really get personal and engage with your contacts.

HubSpot has been a lifesaver for my company. Prior to HubSpot, we had a marketing plan but were shooting in the dark on how to measure success. We use HubSpot across the entire company and have them host our website as well. This has given us the ability to test marketing tactics and topics and see what success, or lack of success, they have had. In addition, by blogging and using their email campaign, we are able to stay in front of our clients and prospects alike.
  • HubSpot gives users the ability to instantly track their marketing efforts, see real time results, and measure the effectiveness of their campaigns.
  • HubSpot allows you to optimize your blog to ensure that you are being found through searches. In addition, the ability to automatically publish to social media makes the process of getting the word out simple and effective.
  • The HubSpot COS is easy to use and gives you control of all aspects of your website. We went through a major website redesign which I led. Did I mention that I am the sales and marketing person for my company and not a website designer?
  • The HubSpot support team is top notch. They not only take the time to understand your question but they provide the correct solution. In addition, they follow up with you to make sure you have been taken care of and that your problem has been solved. This is almost unheard of these days!
I would recommend, and have recommended, HubSpot to numerous individuals and colleagues and will continue to do so.

HubSpot is being used to manage nearly all of our marketing efforts, from email marketing to social media to SEO. It is primarily used by the marketing department to communicate with potential customers but reports, dashboards, and lists within HubSpot are used by every department of our organization.
  • HubSpot has an unparalleled dedication to customer success. Your relationship doesn't end when you write them the first check. It is only just beginning.
  • Very intuitive product which decreased the length of the on boarding process with new employees.
  • All of your metrics from email to social media to content marketing to SEO are in one place which makes it easy to understand the entire scope of your marketing funnel.
  • There is nothing major missing from HubSpot.
If you're looking for an easy-to-use out-of-the-box solution, then I highly recommend HubSpot. HubSpot has dramatically changed how my organization does marketing for the better. We've been ecstatic with our purchase and have seen provable ROI on it.

We use HubSpot in our department to keep up with and engage with the many students we interact with on a regular basis. We primarily utilize it for emails and lists, as well as scheduling and monitoring our social media. It has been so helpful, especially as our department grows, with keeping us on track and engaged with our students!
  • Intuitive and so easy to use. I've even been able to train some of our interns to use some of HubSpot's tools to help us keep up with contacts and social media.
  • Education on the product - HubSpot wants you to be using their product to its fullest potential. I love having access to HubSpot academy's resources so I can learn how to use different tools as I'm working on projects.
  • Continuous improvement: always looking for ways to grow and are always up-to-date.
  • Onboarding and initial training: it's a great platform, but can be a little overwhelming for a beginner.
It has been a great fit for our team and staying connected with the students we come in contact with. I'd say it would be well suited for any non-profit trying to engage people.

We use HubSpot for all of our marketing automation (emails, workflows, lead nurturing, and website creation). It is used by our sales and marketing department primarily. HubSpot has simplified our marketing and sales process while also providing much better visibility of content campaigns and improving efficiency in lead nurturing.
  • Ease of Use - HS was extremely easy to set up and get started with right from day 1. I didn't take any training and was able to get my workflows set up easily. That said, I highly recommend training because when I did it later I learned a lot and realized I hadn't set things up as efficiently as possible, HS was great to help me identify and improve on the workflows I'd created.
  • Support - the entire team at HS is incredible, everyone I've spoken to (and I've spoken to a lot) from the onboarding team to the support team are very friendly, understanding, and knowledgeable. You can tell they really care about their customers and helping them succeed with the product.
  • Lead Nurturing - HS makes it easy to set up nurturing campaigns and automation through simple workflows. It's so much easier to keep an eye on what we're doing, who is getting what, and what campaigns are getting the best responses
  • COS - the HS website pages are super easy to create and manage, SEO is built in and they have a ton of templates to use. Makes creating a website as easy as possible
  • Reporting is extremely limited - I expected a lot more since this is a marketing automation software and metrics are key. You can really only choose from preset fields and situations, you can't mix and match any fields you want
  • The integration between their marketing and CRM modules is very limited - again, I would expect more but I know the CRM is new and they're working on it
  • Strange set up between Customers and Contacts - not a lot of correlation which means extra manual work to get it right. I know that marketing/CRM is often contact-based, but when you win an account it's a customer win and all contacts should be updated automatically. They're not - there are actually still 2 different fields on the contact for "company", very frustrating.
We evaluated several of the big marketing automation software options and found HubSpot had the best overall solution - they seem to be more favorable for B2B companies like us, and just an easier to use interface.

Our entire organization is certified in HubSpot, we use it every day to fulfill our own marketing efforts and campaigns for our clients.
  • fantastic at filling the top of the funnel, the power to attract and convert traffic into leads
  • all in one solution with fantastic modules to replace many other pieces of software that are difficult to get overall performance visibility with
  • campaign analytic tracking, allowing us to manage end results through planned activity and promotion
  • I'd like to see some deeper capabilities with their keyword tool, direct integration with web master tools or analytics would be great
Because they have different license levels for different sizes of organizations I believe the tool is appropriate for businesses of all sizes. Basic is great for start ups, Enterprise fits for larger organizations, and the Pro license is great for everyone in between.

At IMA, we are a Platinum Partner of HubSpot. That means that we can sell the platform to other companies and also support them in their use of it. Everyone in our company has access to it, though some use it more than others. We use it to manage inbound marketing efforts of our clients, including email marketing, blogging, content creation and distribution, metrics and analytics, SEO and much, much more. It helps deliver and execute a complete inbound marketing strategy to companies of all sizes in just about any industry.
  • Inbound Marketing: strategy, execution and analysis.
  • Continuous improvement: always looking for ways to grow and adapt.
  • Network: access to a network of HubSpot staff, as well as users.
  • Support: always available, knowledgeable and very easy to work with.
  • Onboarding and initial training: it's a great platform, but can be a little overwhelming for a beginner.
  • Constant change can sometimes lead to confusion: they are always looking for ways to improve, which sometimes leads to confusion over how to do things now vs. how you used to do them.
Are you ready to dive in and use HubSpot frequently? Do you have at least one person in your organization to own it? If not, do you have an agency to help you? HubSpot is an amazing tool, but it's only as good as what you put into it. Just like Excel or Word, it doesn't do anything if you don't use it. Be sure you have time and resources to dedicate to it. If you do, it can help you achieve really powerful things!

We are using HubSpot in marketing as a marketing automation platform. It has helped us raise our profile in our target market and get the attention of people looking for solutions like ours. We are using it in sales to implement as a Cold Calling 2.0 approach. It is a great tool for that as well.
  • As a platform for blogging - it's easy to use and integrates into your website.
  • To enhance our social media presence - easy to use.
  • To provide content to our target market - lets me see who's downloaded what.
  • To keep track of who we are connecting with - entire histories of interaction with prospect and customers.
  • To easily add landing pages to our website.
  • As an email marketing platform - great platform to target the audience with amazing precision and flexibility.
  • Excellent support and training.
  • I would like better reporting functionality. I think they have it in the enterprise version but that is too expensive for us right now.
  • I would like the ability to see all the interactions on a particular piece of content in one place.
  • The templates (for creating landing pages, emails, stc.) are a little trick to learn.
I'm not an expert on marketing automation software. I would say that HubSpot seems to be designed for people that are not inbound marketing gurus. And they have done a great job of this. The system really guides you through the process of whatever it is you are doing. And the support and training are awesome for non-experts.

HubSpot is used by Leighton Interactive's whole organization. We use the program to market ourselves, and our clients. Specifically, we use the program for campaigns, websites, blogs, newsletters, and social media. HubSpot helps us generate leads for our organization and our clients. HubSpot has proven to be essential for our organization. Update: As our agency has expanded, we've grown to use more HubSpot features - such as the HubSpot CRM, Integrations, and Apps. We have been recommending these features to our clients.

  • HubSpot works particularly well when formatting blogs for SEO
  • HubSpot works particularly well when formatting websites for SEO
  • HubSpot excels at formatting and sending eNewsletters
  • HubSpot is an excellent prospecting tool
  • HubSpot can improve upon the image formatting within blogs and websites
  • HubSpot can improve upon specific little day-to-day bugs that happen - such as image spacing not working within blogs and websites
  • The keywords tool could be more intuitive, and fully-featured (similar to Google AdWords Keywords tool)
  • HubSpot development tools could be more intuitive
Would your company benefit from an all-encompassing lead-generating software, social media posting platform, and website/newsletter template generator? If so, you should definitely check out HubSpot. One of its most useful features might be the built-in analytics, which simplifies pretty much everything - there's no need to remember a million different logins and accounts for social media/websites/etc.

We are a Gold Partner with HubSpot, use it for ourselves, resell the software and implement it for our clients. Along with the reselling of the product we also create and implement inbound strategies for our clients and create, manage and post content on their behalf. We use all aspects of the software and all team members are inbound certified with the more hands-on team members also being HubSpot certified.

HubSpot is integral for our organization and our clients by providing a single source of creating, tracking, implementing and reporting on our efforts to prove our work works.
  • The automation that the system provides with landing pages, thank you pages, follow-up emails and workflows greatly reduces manual labor and increases your companies reputation by providing on-demand responses.
  • With the array of tools this software provides you can manage your analytics, content, social media, contacts, leads and customers all in one location.
  • HubSpot also provides a wide variety of resources for you and your clients: training seminars, webinars, ebooks, decks, and your own brandable content. HubSpot really wants you to succeed with their product and with the proper time investment you can.
  • The certifications provided by HubSpot are a great way to get validated for your efforts and get your team and clients speaking the same language.
  • HubSpot is always challenging itself and its users you modifying best practices and giving you better ways to think about your marketing efforts.
  • The support from their team is incredible! Anytime we need a demo our rep is there for us with the client plugged in to the system and real examples used so it can easily be visualized.
  • I would like to see more variations allowed in the email templates that get set up. Like a different background for a follow-up email and an enewsletter.
  • I would like to be able to pull quarterly reports on our efforts. As of now everything is monthly.
  • I would like them to improve the social dashboard tool to include more information from other social channels like Instagram, and Pinterest.
  • The new Growth Driven Design initiative is an amazing way to rethink web design and a certification for this program would help validate it.
This software is suited for those who are serious about growing their business and tracking the data to do so. If you are not ready to go through some growing pains and dedicate yourself to learning the tools and harnessing their power, then HubSpot is not appropriate for you. They provide the guidelines and framework for success, and if followed, will be gained.

We integrated our company's website with Hubspot and also manage a clients website which is integrated with Hubspot analytics and SEO. The Hubspot platform lets us manage the physical structure of our website including our landing pages and layout, but critically gives us insights into what is working and - more importantly - what isn't working; so we can make adjustments and increase traffic, subscription, conversion, and growth. Since we aren't selling a product, we use the tools offered through HubSpot to integrate our social media presence, and keep track of the people subscribing to our content, as well as that of a clients. The free HubSpot trainings and certifications help me use the platform better and helpful support is only a call away.
  • Training and customer support
  • Intuitive interface
  • Useful analytics
  • Changing and updating pages forces me to relearn how to use HubSpot.
  • Sometimes its not immediately apparent where certain functionality is located (i.e. under which tab, etc.).
  • Always new features which don't necessarily apply to me.
HubSpot is better suited to companies selling a product because they fall more into the traditional sales funnel. As a PR company we use many of HubSpot's functions to improve the service we provide to existing clients, but we don't directly convert a certain percentage of our visitors into sales targets, then customers, etc.

Within the past year, we have put a greater emphasis on publishing and promoting original content to educate our market. We needed a platform that could help us do a better job of managing our contacts and understanding their online behavior in order to tailor our content more appropriately. We also needed a more efficient way of organizing and analyzing our digital marketing efforts. HubSpot was one of several vendors we looked at to help our marketing and sales team gain insights into our audience and improve our efforts in reaching out to them/attracting them to our content.
  • HubSpot does a superb job of onboarding and educating clients. The process is smooth and well-organized. Their learning library of content made it simple for me to get trained quickly on the platform and start using it almost immediately.
  • HubSpot is also great from an ease-of-use perspective. No matter what I'm building in it (email, blog post, landing page, etc.), I don't need coding knowledge. (Although sometimes I will bring a designer in to help jazz things up a bit.) I also find the optimization prompts extremely helpful to ensure I'm covering all the bases before I hit publish/send.
  • With SEO being such a critical component of successful content marketing, I really appreciate the keyword tool. I use it all the time to get new ideas for content or see where I have ranking and conversion opportunities that I can develop further.
  • We used to use Constant Contact for our email marketing. I would like to see HubSpot's email tool improve - something as simple as seeing "forward" information is either not available from HubSpot or not intuitive at all.
  • I have mixed feelings about the campaign tool. Overall, I love the ability to tie multiple pieces of content into a single campaign and see reporting for how it all works together. However, building the campaigns can be a bit of a pain. I don't like needing to publish landing pages in order to build other pieces...I wish there was a way to create all components of the campaign and then hit "publish" all at once, rather than piecemeal and backtrack to add links, etc.
  • I think HubSpot's reporting add-on really ought to be a part of the product as a whole. Reporting and analytics are one of the key ways for me to prove the efficacy of our marketing efforts (and of HubSpot's value). The offerings in the Professional edition are pretty slim in my opinion.
Overall, HubSpot has been hugely helpful to me. After coming out of an agency setting and moving to the client side, I've become a "one-man band" in marketing. HubSpot makes it much easier for me to be efficient with my time and effective with my efforts. I really can't speak highly enough of their education and support for customers. The Academy broadcasts and the Projects give me great continuing insight not only on using the platform, but on the overall marketing landscape.

We use HubSpot throughout our entire organization to organize our subscribers, leads, opportunities, customers, and evangelists (which includes staff, board members, partners, advisors, etc). Our primary use is in marketing, but we also use HubSpot for internal communications. HubSpot helps us manage our email marketing, social media marketing, landing pages, blogs and webinar registrations. Content is extremely important to our thought leadership strategy and we leverage HubSpot's tools and technology to get the right content in front of the right contacts at the right time.
  • HubSpot integrates all content-related activities via the CTA (Call-to-Action) feature that we use in email campaigns, on landing pages, in blogs, and throughout our website. Those CTAs are tracked, and we can easily perform analytics that show us what offerings are of the greatest interest to our buyer personas.
  • The ability to build smart content is a huge differentiator for us. We can alter the CTAs we put in email campaigns, on landing pages, and even on our HubSpot-hosted website so we offer the right content to the right person at the right time. Being able to present, say, a mid-funnel offering to an individual based on lifecycle stage is huge!
  • If you dream it, they will build it. Seriously. Every time I think, 'I really wish HubSpot had xx feature,' I swear they release it. I love being able to log into the community and vote for features that resonate with me and also see what my peers are requesting. HubSpot really listens to their user base.
  • We use HubSpot CRM and Sidekick for Business in addition to the marketing platform, and I wish the 'Documents' in Sidekick for Business could pull from the content I have stored in my HubSpot library (such as ebooks).
  • While we are able to manage GooglePlus, LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter via HubSpot, I wish we could also manage Instagram and Pinterest via HubSpot.
  • I wish we could schedule and send emails based off of the time zone of the lead. For example, if I want to send an email at 10am, that email would go out at 10am Pacific, 10am Eastern, 10am Mountain, etc.
If you subscribe to the inbound methodology and have invested time and resources in creating content to position yourself as a thought leader, then HubSpot is the perfect marketing tool. It can be especially powerful for small marketing teams.

At the moment, it is mainly being used by the marketing department within our organization. We use it to host our website, social media, and email marketing. HubSpot helps us do pretty much everything in one place, while allowing us to track progress and easily create visual reports over time.
  • Hubspot because it has a lot of great features all in one place. I look at Hubspot like a toolbox. A large toolbox that allows you to use different tools when you need them, like sending out emails to a diverse set of lists, schedule multiple messages across different social media channels and create reports that give you the statistics of how your individual tools are performing.
  • Hubspot has amazing timely support. Even if the answer to the question I'm asking is as obvious as clicking a particular button, the Hubspot team will still walk me through what exactly I need to click and why. They're thorough and follow up to make sure you're getting the answers you need.
  • The whole experience is user-friendly. I'm still learning how to use Hubspot to its full potential, but it doesn't feel too daunting a task. I know it will just take time.
  • Another great highlight is the kind of reporting you can do. I appreciate being able to look at each individual email marketing campaign to determine who exactly opened, clicked or unsubscribed to our emails. It also shows you which browser the contact was reading the email from, how long they were looking at the email, and what links they clicked.
  • Overall, I'm satisfied with Hubspot so at this time there aren't any major issues I have with it.
  • However, I would love to see a workflow feature that allows you to automate the sending of a follow-up email or certain content to contacts who have opened/clicked on your email versus having it form based.
I'd say that Hubspot can get pricey, but it's well worth having multiple features all in one place. If you're willing to pay for more than the basic version I would do it. Unless you don't have the budget you can still get away with the basic version, but I suggest upgrading. We're a small business and using Hubspot saves us a lot of time and money in the long-run.

Current we use HubSpot for both marketing and sales. In my first position as a sales representative I used the CRM system to keep track of all my interactions with current and potential customers. It made it easy to update contacts, send e-mails, and check on the progress of deals. Since we started using HubSpot we haven't encountered any issues about lost information about a potential prospect. Everything is documented from our calls to our meetings.
  • HubSpot gives our company the ability to design and create our own landing pages and forms. The tools to create these are extremely user-friendly.
  • HubSpot support has never let me down. Whenever I've run into an issue they've always been responsive and kind (even when the mistake was on my end).
  • HubSpot continues to develop improvements that capture more information from all phases of the sales processes. This information can then be used for marketing as well as sales.
  • HubSpot was down for one day earlier this month, which impacted our entire organization. I would've liked to have recieved an e-mail from HubSpot explaining the issues instead of having to reach out to them.
  • HubSpot accidentally restricts me from e-mailing certain contacts. Their system tells me that an e-mail has been bouncing, however; once I wait the message will disappear. It happens some of the time and can get frustrating.
HubSpot proved its worth within the first month. As I created new contacts, which were leads, I was able to send them through a workflow. Monitoring the contact's interactions with the workflow gave me a good indication if the lead was warm or not. After reaching out I could easily move these leads into the demo phase and pass them along to one of our directors. This simplified our sales process by a landslide.

HubSpot is our main marketing platform. It's currently used to automate our marketing programs, including email marketing, landing pages, social media and our blog. We also use the tool to score leads, and automate our lead nurturing process. It's easy to measure the success of our programs through the reporting.
  • HubSpot is great for automating workflow emails, creating new campaigns, landing page creation and compiling lists.
  • They have a great training program for gearing up with HubSpot. They also have training videos that can help you on your own pace.
  • HubSpot support is one of the best around. You can call or email them. They respond quickly, and if they don't have an answer for you, they will take your number and call you back once it is solved. I've called them with unique challenges and they've patiently helped me to work out the best possible solution to help me get what I need from the tool.
  • Overall, I'm happy with HubSpot and glad I chose it over other solutions. However, everything in HubSpot is created in different modules. It is sometimes hard to identify which module has the setting you are trying to change. It's frustrating at first, but it gets easier to identify after you've been using it for a while. HubSpot support is quick to help with this.
  • HubSpot has a ton of criteria you can use to compile lists. List criteria can become more complicated than it needs to be, very quickly. Again, HubSpot support can help you understand what you need and simplify the criteria needed.
HubSpot is a great choice for any size company. It scales to fit your company's needs. HubSpot gives you control over your marketing processes so you can concentrate on content.

HubSpot is used by one department. We use it to address email engagement and Social Media publications.
  • It is easy to use. If you're taught how to do something once, you're able to remember how to do it again by the context clues from links and buttons.
  • Customer service response is efficient. I asked a question via Twitter to HubSpot support and I got a response within 24 hours. I was never frustrated and I received all the help I needed.
HubSpot is well suited for social media publication, as you can easily post to all platforms (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Google+) all at once. It is very efficient and easy to use.

HubSpot started out as a solution for the marketing department, but it has become very important in sales/pre-sales as well as in partner management. For PARIS, HubSpot addresses the problem of managing the contact database, contact lists, landing page management and email automation. We use HubSpot for our marketing CTA tracking and for workflows. In sales, we use a HubSpot and Sidekick combo to maintain a timeline of what actions a contact has taken as well as the emails that have been exchanged. Its a great way to keep the team on the same page.
  • Landing page creation and management. It is very easy to make a new page and launch it--can easily be done in a day.
  • List creation - It is very easy to segment the database according to a wide range of criteria. The flexibility with this is pretty fantastic.
  • Content to enable users is VERY easy to find. I have learned a lot of cool tricks from HubSpot that make me better at my job. The value of HubSpot is not just their product, it is their philosophy of constantly delivering value and delighting the people who engage with them.
  • I'd like to see HubSpot improve their connectivity to standard things like a SQL server database.
  • HubSpot could improve their B2B set up for companies like ours who manage partners as well as direct customers.
  • I would like to see chat help, but my experience with their help has been great.
I think, if you are a marketing manager and you are having trouble holding all the different pieces together, HubSpot is a game changer. I can't think of an example where HubSpot wouldn't be incredibly useful.... HubSpot has completely changed my work life for the better, I feel much more in control, and I feel I am delivering a much better result for my company.

Our marketing team pretty much has Hubspot open all day. We run all our marketing programs through the tool including our Blog, Email marketing, Landing pages, Social Media and Contact forms. We also use the tool to track our lead nurturing process and measure the success of our programs through the reporting. Many other teams have started using the tool as well, such as our Sales team, Customer Support team and Customer Success team. I'm pretty sure it won't be long before everyone is using it.
  • The tool is so easy to learn and use. And whenever you are stuck they have incredible training resources and support.
  • The reporting and dashboard is great. You can track success in real time easily which is amazing for showing results to the rest of the organization.
  • It's really easy to schedule your social media posts and link to Hubspot content directly then track leads in the system. Best way to show ROI for social media efforts.
  • I find the email editor not the best tool out there. The fonts and layout sometimes come out odd looking and not the way it looks on the screen.
  • There's a few things around lead scoring and being able to set a MQL back to a lead that's really hard to do in the system. If a qualified lead isn't ready to buy and you want to nurture them again, so can't put them back to 0.
  • It would be great if there were more automatic notifications that could be set up for the contact owners. There are a few standard ones in there, but it would be great to be able to customize the notifications.
I think Hubspot is great for everyone
