Hubspot is being used by our marketing team for our enterprise business. It helps to centralize data and all lead generation functions in one platform. While it is primarily being used by Marketing for demand generation, the sales team uses it as a light CRM to get updates on activities specific contacts at their accounts are taking up.
  • Ease of configuration
  • Ease of data analysis
  • Responsive and knowledgeable support
Cons
  • None that we have encountered until now.
Hubspot would suit well for companies that are beginning their journey to consolidate their different platforms for landing pages, analytics, and email marketing into one platform.

We are using Hubspot as the key lead generation system for all inbound leads. We use Hubspot to deploy all emails. Create landing pages for thought leadership pieces and nurture leads down the funnel for webinars and to increase the overall awareness of the company and the services we provide. Hubspot is our source for setting up lifecycle stage leads and merging marketing and sales for all contacts.
  • Landing Pages can be set up quickly, the ability to clone and make minor changes and make basic design changes is important to get emails and forms implemented fast and in real time.
  • List creation can be set up by static list and automated lists that are generated from forms.
  • Forms allow for quick integration into the landing pages. Smart Forms allow for gathering of additional information from contacts that are already in the database.
  • New forms have been added and more templates
  • Customer Service is good. Respond quickly to emails and also can answer questions on phone to keep projects moving forward.
Cons
  • More integration of contacts into the email platform to allow for quicker searching.
  • Email folders by campaign for archiving of old campaigns
  • Better way to tag photos and find photos that have been used in previous emails rather than just by image.
Best for lead bound generation and working your customer list to develop smaller lists and campaigns that are based on the contact information. The automatic emails are time saving. Smart lists are perfect for gaining more information from current contacts and develop additional lists based on criteria. More email templates could be added for a robust library.

Great, easy to use tool!

We use the system to track our leads. We also use it for marketing and PR. This tool has allowed me to streamline my marketing and sales efforts. I can schedule, publish and analyze social media posts for multiple platforms in one place. They then connect back to our campaigns for a nice "event" recap. We can see where our leads and sales are coming from, who is on the site, and what they are looking at. With the Sidekick integration we can log and track those emails back into the system so multiple users can access the information. It is easy to use.
  • Lead and source tracking.
  • Social media posting across multiple platforms.
  • Managing workflows as well as "event" campaigns.
  • Reporting.
Cons
  • Email/Outlook integration.
  • More detailed user permissions.
  • Exporting ability to include attachments and notes history.
I think HubSpot is a good fit for a company that is looking for a clean way to manage a lot of information in one centralized location.

I use Hubspot for building and sending emails along with tracking the analytics. I post social media, build html emails, manage forms, workflows, and contact lists, etc. It basically helps me achieve everything I need as a marketing manager.
  • Easy navigation and onboarding
  • Easy to design professional emails
  • Easy to manage basic workflows
Cons
  • More customization of workflows
Hubspot has been great as a tool for a small marketing team with folks who are not familiar with how to build emails and use marketing tools. It's very user friendly and easy to manager. It remains to be seen how it will scale with us as our use cases grow.
