Companies can't remove reviews or game the system. Here's why

Hubspot is really well optimized and easy to manage. There is also a lot of [content in the] Learning Center to learn how to use the tool better. Hubspot has a great reputation in the industry. Hubspot was doing all the things we wanted such as lead qualification, landing pages, and marketing automation.

I used to use Percolate, and it just didn't have the comprehensiveness of Hubspot. Hubspot is a, in 98% of cases, a one stop shop - and that matters when you are a one woman content and social media engagement manager. Plus, I have learned so much through Hubspot Academy.

Whilst Marketo is reasonable we didn't find it gave us the flexibility required in terms of defining our own marketing automation workflows. This is even more crucial when tailoring the product to a client as they often have wildly different requirements.

There are many great marketing automation platforms and I am always interested in evaluating them. I often find, however, that the competitors' assumptions regarding Hubspot's capabilities (or lack thereof) are misinformed or simply wrong. I have seen interesting features in competitive products but in my experience, Hubspot does everything and usually more than its nearest competitors.

In the past, I've worked with companies that use both Marketo and Pardot. Pardot is an absolutely horrible solution, I don't know why anyone would ever buy it or use it. There are many way better options that are much cheaper than Pardot, so why even bother with their solution? Marketo is OK, I've had plenty of companies that use it but it's still sub-par. Their reporting is incredibly confusing, and frankly I that it was outright useless. I had contacted Marketo support about several simple reports that are readily available in Hubspot--and even Google Analytics--and their support confirmed that simple attribution reports are just plain not available historically. So, if you make a mistake or just have questions about historical data don't bother trying to articulate a report from it.

HubSpot is a better all-around automation solution for our small marketing department. It helps us function as a design team, social media managers, a copy writing team and campaign strategists when we need to have those hats on. It makes switching back and forth easy and helps us to be productive whatever it is we need to be doing.

WordPress is a significantly more affordable program, and a variety of free or affordable plugins lets you customise your website to your needs. HubSpot has built in page building tools, which WordPress does not have (but can be added on with plugins).

However in terms of CRM, HubSpot provides marketers greater convenience and insights than WordPress can, coupled with more detailed statistics. Your digital marketing tools are all connected in a single platform (e.g. social media, email, contacts) as opposed to in separate databases.

We were actually using Marketo and switched to HubSpot part way through our marketing contract. We found that Marketo is highly customizable but getting even basic things to work was incredibly difficult. Also, there was no API integration with AdWords/LinkedIn so tracking spend was incredibly manual. Overall, HubSpot is much easier to use out of the box and is a more well-rounded marketing solution.

SharpSpring seemed cheaper, but it did not have the same functionalities as HubSpot and it looked a lot harder to learn and use. We were also told that the analytics are completely unreliable.

Infusionsoft, again, didn't have all the tools HubSpot offers, so we couldn't keep everything in one place. It might be best for e-commerce.

HubSpot is far and away the best website manager and marketing automation software I have used. Granted, I have only used a few in my short time as a working professional, but overall, the features that HubSpot offers do make my job easier and my work more effective.

HubSpot has been much more user-friendly in enabling us to support our customers through the buying journey and allows us to free up time to give us more face-to-face time with clients in order to better serve them. Our workload has reduced since using HubSpot and as a result, we are a more effective team.

HubSpot appeared to be the most user-friendly, with intuitive interfaces and comprehensive training. We also liked the level of support offered by HubSpot when setting up the system, as well as learning how to be good marketers.

  • Act On
Hubspot for the pricing is overall more efficient than Act-On. Act-On has a more robust A/B testing platform and Act-On also has a series of alerts that is easier to integrate into the sales end. Hubspot is better for landing pages. More templates; forms are easier to implement and dynamic forms can be changed and updated quicker in Hubspot. Recently switched Marketo clients over the HubSpot. Overall onboarding process has been easier with both sales and marketing integrating with Hubspot quicker.

  • HubSpot is so user-friendly.
  • They have amazing certification programs that takes your marketing skills to the next level.
  • Incredibly useful and easy to use tools such as social media publishing, tracking URLs, forms, content management with custom landing pages, emails, calls-to-action, campaigns, being able to track and convert leads, etc.

We selected HubSpot over the others for the following reasons:
  • More complete for the functions we needed
  • Truly inbound - they generate a ton of useful content that resonates with our team
  • Free tools to improve engagements - Website Grader for example
  • Easy to set up & use
  • The HubSpot Academy helps us keep our skills updated

We previously had Pardot and struggled with some of their tools, like building new landing pages. We do not have an IT department and I only have basic coding knowledge so we had to pay for another software to build our landing pages. Hubspot allows us to do everything we need in the one platform and has even helped us kick up our social media a notch!

In my opinion, HubSpot provides much better support, it's easier to understand, it educates its users and provides them with educational content all the time. Moreover, I think HupSpot is a more complete tool and focus on all aspects of your online digital strategy while Infusionsoft, in my opinion, focuses on email workflows more.
