Reviews
(126-150 of 654)Definitely worth the investment!
1. Scaleability: We run our marketing like a much bigger company with pretty impressive results with a single person. We couldn't do any of that before HubSpot, and now it's manageable and sustainable.
2. Site Management: I'm able to create and maintain a great site all by myself, with very little technical knowledge.
- Training new customers. I'm not particularly tech-savvy, and I'm no marketing expert, but HubSpot makes it easy to learn about using the product AND about marketing strategies.
- Making the interface intuitive. If I can't automatically figure out how to do something, it's pretty easy to figure out how to learn how.
- Customer support when reaching out with questions. The team does a great job of following up in a positive and encouraging way, offering to help at every turn, and supporting us in anything we need.
- It gives us awesome metrics that are really helpful in figuring out how our efforts are going, and what we should focus our next efforts on.
- It's difficult to search for materials in the HubSpot Academy and make sure you're turning up all relevant materials. SOMETHING always comes up, but since I find other materials elsewhere, I don't think I actually get everything.
- The webinars provide good information, but it takes them way too long to get to the point - I could cut out two thirds of what's said in the webinar and still get all of the relevant information that I need.
- It would be nice if the information covered in the webinars were provided succinctly somewhere else, so I could just read the info. without listening to the chatting.
- I have a hard time figuring out the new interface when they make a big change - it would help if they put out short product videos showing what the differences are, and convincing me that they're better than the old way (maybe they already do this and I miss it?)
A Good Product for Digital Marketing
It is helpful to me as a one-person marketing team so that I can manage our database of leads, email, landing pages, and social media all in one place. It's too early to tell how it's helping us on the CRM side of things, but we do like that our CRM and our marketing tool is now under one roof, so to speak.
- Email marketing. It helps with automated RSS emails (from our blog), and provides more and more detailed reporting of how the emails fared (how, when, and where they were read), how they get sent, and making sure they look and perform as best they can.
- Social media. I've noticed using things I wouldn't have gotten anywhere else from the Monitoring portion. Scheduling social media is nice.
- Database management. There are tons of ways to segment leads.
- Social media scheduling. I wish HubSpot would suggest days and times to help your social media get the most amplification.
- Similar to social media, I wish HubSpot would suggest times and days for email engagement.
- No dedicated support for our business. We used to have it, but now we don't.
If you want to generate leads, this is your tool
We are a small business and we work with startups, so our number one challenge is generating enough leads. Hubspot helps us automate that process and makes lead generation simple. We've met or exceeded our client's lead generation goals ever since implementing Hubspot.
- Hubspot is easier to use than most of the other marketing tools I've used. My training was quick and I was up and running with the tool (with a few questions, but still) in a month or less.
- Hubspot does exactly what we need it to—help us DRIVE LEADS. If you are looking to boost inbound efforts, this is the tool to use. The tool is organized in a way that makes lead gen marketing very simple.
- As a company, I think Hubspot does an awesome job providing resources to the people that use the tool. Whether it's their blog, offers, trainings and more, they really care about developing their customers.
- Hubspot definitely has its glitches and can be a little buggy at times.
- Hubspot's reports leave something to be desired. I especially think the keywords report could be a bit more flexible in terms of giving data history.
- The Hubspot and SFDC integration is rough because Hubspot operates on the contact level and SFDC operates on the account level. Many of our clients use Salesforce, so this is a bit of a headache for us.
Agency HubSpot Review
HubSpot helps us to manage complete closed-loop inbound marketing and sales campaigns. This includes working as our CRM, content management platform and more: paid ad campaigns, social selling activity, email workflows; almost everything can be managed through through the platform.
- Inbound education. As founders of the inbound methodology - you would expect that!
- Close loop management and reporting - and increasinly, more and more integrations are available.
- User experience is clean, simple and easy.
- Better social media monitoring would be nice - although it is already comprehensive and trackable.
- More integrations - though these are coming!
- More defined difference when moving between client portals would be helpful.
Hubspot - Easy to Use Interface
- Landing Pages can be set up quickly, the ability to clone and make minor changes and make basic design changes is important to get emails and forms implemented fast and in real time.
- List creation can be set up by static list and automated lists that are generated from forms.
- Forms allow for quick integration into the landing pages. Smart Forms allow for gathering of additional information from contacts that are already in the database.
- New forms have been added and more templates
- Customer Service is good. Respond quickly to emails and also can answer questions on phone to keep projects moving forward.
- More integration of contacts into the email platform to allow for quicker searching.
- Email folders by campaign for archiving of old campaigns
- Better way to tag photos and find photos that have been used in previous emails rather than just by image.
HubSpot review from digital role
- COS - the website tool is outstanding
- Lead tracking and information
- Reporting and analysis
- Technical support
- Community size - more users needed
- Database connection and integrations
Go for it and just HubSpot it.
- HubSpot's landing pages can be easily customized to make it more personal.
- HubSpot lets you easily organize your campaigns and measure the results.
- Hubspot helps improves our inbound marketing efforts.
- Would be great if there's an option to sort contacts alphabetically, add a secondary email address, be able to batch download links/attachments from completed forms, name each tracking URL instead of just associating it to a campaign, and tag contacts on Facebook and LinkedIn in its social media publishing tool.
- The custom date range in the reporting section doesn't seem to be accurate.
HubSpot review
We are also HubSpot Partners and promote the tool to our own clients. The clients that have bought into HubSpot have seen major results using this great tool along with ourselves in the company.
HubSpot touches many of our departments. Predominately our Inbound Department, but also Sales, and Development.
The hubspot social media tool is also one of the best marketing automation tools I have used, the reporting is great and completely customised.
- Everything you need is in one place, no need for other tools
- Quick and easy to set up, support is there if you need it too from the guys at Hubspot
- Integrates with a lot of other pieces of software and tools that I use which makes collaborating much easier.
- In terms of its social media section, they need to update their features and when new features are released on social media channels such as Twitter.
- So many different options and features to use, you can sometimes get lost in the noise.
We purchased HubSpot to escape from the disorder of scattered solutions. In the past, our website was on Wordpress with several add-ons, CRM with Zoho CRM, email marketing with MailChimp, multiple social media distribution & monitoring tools and many Excel sheets for data collation and reporting. I kept track of HubSpot for more than 2 years - mostly through their blog posts & the use of their Marketing Grader app (currently replaced by Website Grader) before we became a HubSpot subscriber. HubSpot has helped our company transition to a single integrated platform to effectively support our inbound marketing, CRM and sales activities. Data is entered once in a easy to use system, notifications can be setup as required, details can be monitored on mobile apps and reporting is intuitive with the in-built dashboards.
- A single integrated platform to manage inbound marketing, CRM and sales for the entire company. Many companies start deploying disparate solutions organically. The time will come when it will make sense to migrate the scattered solutions onto a single platform.
- It is relatively easy to set up with the guided user interface. The HubSpot Academy is rich with educational resources - structured logically - simple short initial video to get the idea across > a more detailed video that goes into the details > finally ending with another video showing how the HubSpot tools can be used to achieve the desired objectives.
- It is easier to manage a team that is aligned on a single solution. It is easier to make sense of the data that we generate since we do not need to reconcile data from separate systems.
- HubSpot support is quick to respond to our queries.
- Include additional social media channels being monitored - eg. YouTube
Everything we need - one platform
- All in one platform. This was a big selling point for us because we wanted to start using social media along with our email marketing, among other things. And Hubspot offered all of these things for us in one place.
- Easy to use. Previously we had a platform that required quite a bit of coding knowledge. Even with the basic knowledge I had in coding I was getting stuck on building out functioning landing pages and had to pay for an Instapage subscription to work around it. Very inconvenient and felt that we should not have to pay for another "software" when there is the ability to build landing pages within the platform we had- we would have just needed to hire someone with coding experience...another unnecessary cost.
- Reporting. We have recently started to pull year end stats for our overall marketing and HubSpot allowed us to provide a lot of great information regarding email campaigns, landing pages visited, CTAs clicked, etc.
- The onboarding was only 30 minute meetings. At the beginning, we definitely could have used at least an hour because once we got into a subject it seemed like the time was up for that meeting and the Hubspot contact was so swamped with other meetings we could never go over the 30 minutes. Maybe offer one hour meetings initially to get new customers really familiar with the product then it can move to 30 minute meetings once there isn't a ton of information to go over or questions to be asked.
HubSpot - The Best Marketing Automation Solution on the Market
- Workflows and automation: the workflow and automation possibilities with HubSpot are endless. We've been able to build and automate the entire customer journey for our contacts utilizing the workflow tool.
- Salesforce integration: the Salesforce integration takes minutes to set up and works flawlessly.
- Smart content: Smart content took our email campaigns to the next level - allowing us to personalize CTAs, copy and more on all of our emails and webpages.
- One of the only areas I believe HubSpot can improve in is their onboarding process. When SalesITV onboarded HubSpot, the training we received was focused more on marketing strategy than the actual use of the software.
- Any challenges we've had with the software itself, HubSpot has quickly addressed as they are constantly working on updating and improving their tools by adding enhancements based on user feedback.
Finally we were able to create an Online Strategy
- Keyword Research
- On page SEO
- Education Sources
- Website back ups
Hubspot will revolutionise your business
We are a company that not only uses Hubspot for our own benefit, but we resell it to benefit our customers too. Generally it's very clear and easy to use, it simplifies marketing immensely, and on top of that it's interested in bettering you as a person as it promotes certifications and classes. At Purple Frog we use Hubspot for everything from our inbound marketing, blogging, CRM and so much more.
- Giving users the opportunity to better themselves in terms of the classes and certifications.
- Very simple to use in general.
- They are constantly updating and improving their software.
- Give you an idea of where the traffic is coming from, which lets you understand what is and what isn't working so you can make adjustments and A/B test with ease.
- When you're blogging it assists you with SEO optimisation.
- When it comes to email design sometimes it looks one way on the screen but different in a test.
- When organising content or campaigns in folders multiple folders it would be better if there was a tad more flexibility.
HubSpot: everything you need in a spot.
- A unique framework
- Simple design creation
- SEO
- Not so clear menus in reserved area
- Lack of images optimization
- Not enough analysis tools
all-in-one marketing platform
- CRM integrated with all in one marketing tools (landing pages, emails, workflows) helps to follow visitors, leads, and prospects.
- A lot of resources for utilisation, prompt support for any issues.
- The inbound method focuses on clients, leads.
- The reporting tool is an extra cost. I think that this is a core feature that should be included in the Professional plan.
- The module template may be difficult for any marketer that doesn't know coding, even for small organisations whose IT teams are too busy to help a marketer to create these modules' templates.
The workflows in Hubspot are practical. We have launched our campaign for whitepapers. Hubspot is updating for a visual workflow so that it would be more practical for predicting many scenarios.
Great people, good software
- Customer service - HubSpot's customer service is prompt, friendly, and helpful
- Thorough - HubSpot has a system for any marketing automation need you might have
- Design managing - creating and editing templates can be tedious and buggy
- Coding - HubSpot has built-in coding restrictions which make it difficult for coders to customize what they want.
Great Marketing Automation Solution
Our organization uses HubSpot as a central tool for marketing campaign automation and management including e-mails and lead nurturing, blogging, landing page and call-to-action development and analytics. We have been extremely pleased with HubSpot’s integrated tools, intuitive user interface and excellent customer support.
Until recently, we had not fully taken advantage of HubSpot’s CRM capabilities. We recently determined that we had a need for a new CRM tool though and have just finished moving our entire sales management process to HubSpot. Thus far, we are extremely pleased with the HubSpot CRM and believe this tool will provide our sales team the organization and tracking capabilities that will help them succeed while providing the back-end analytics to help improve our sales projections.
- E-Mail
- User Interface
- Customer Support
- Frequent User Interface Changes - a pro but can be difficult for users to navigate if not using HubSpot daily
HubSpot, just what we needed!
- Ease of use and UI.
- Amazing customer support.
- Intuitive reporting and analytics.
- Improvements on the calendar feature is welcome!
- Need for easier interface in template building.
- Need for more reporting criteria and features.
Banking on HubSpot
- The email module is so user-friendly, especially compared to some other cumbersome mass-email tools we've used. Like the entire platform, it is easy to understand yet still robust.
- The integration of campaign components is awesome--tagging the campaign associated with each action and the campaign "checklist" page helps to ensure that you've utilized all channels when conducting a campaign.
- Landing pages/CTAs--these are super simple to create with drag-and-drop interfaces, easy form builders and "smart" forms that get to know the submitter as they complete the form.
- Navigation around the site can be cumbersome and not intuitive. I have a particularly hard time finding the Tracking URL list. However, I know they're constantly making improvements, so this will probably be addressed. UPDATE 2016: This is no longer a problem. The site is more easily navigable now than ever!
Great marketing automation software for all your marketing needs
It's being used across the whole organisation. We are a marketing agency.
What business problems am I solving?
ROI, Sales and Marketing Alignment, Marketing insights
- Build landing pages
- Lead gen
- Email workflows
- Capture details
- Inbound marketing
- Ads add-on a bit buggy
A HubSpot Growth Story
- Customer Service- they're support reps are so helpful and answer the phone quickly. In addition, the user experience for finding answers to questions, and the ability to quickly access customer service resources is really helpful for us.
- Training & Indoctrination- Hubspot has a really good onboarding program that pairs each client with a client manager and endless marketing and software training resources at their Academy. Their inbound marketing principles are clearly expressed through text/video/images.
- Workflows- Hubspot's email workflows are very easy to set up due to their highly visual nature and the ability to run conditional branching logic.
- CRM Reporting- the CRM tool has limited reporting capabilities compared to other CRM tools
- Marketing automation
- Website builder
- CRM
- HubSpot support offers contact through phone or email. I personally prefer contact through email because of the call quality and sometimes accent issue, but their email support staff are not as knowledgable as those on the phone.
- There are not many functional updates, but they do update the interface quite often, sometimes a bit too often...
- Would love to see more development on the analytics side
Marketing Automation Made Easy
- Setting up a productive sales funnel through forms, workflows and automation.
- Reporting on how effective your pages are by monitoring your on page SEO.
- Great for larger teams as there are different roles that you can set each person up with.
- It can be a bit intense at the beginning because the system can do so much.
- Create brand awareness
- Generate leads
- Attract new customers
- Grow existing accounts
- Market to abandoned shopping carts
- Sales enablement
- and more
All marketing activities are measured in HubSpot, showing the effectiveness of each piece of marketing content.
- Marketing Automation - the HubSpot platform has all of the tools necessary for a successful online marketing operation
- Customer Relationship Management (CRM) - we have found the CRM features of HubSpot incredibly simple and effective. Many CRMs are robust, powerful, and simply too complicated for the typical B2B sales professional. HubSpot simplifies sales activities to free the sales professional for more important activities. Specifically, reusable email templates and a drag-and-drop deal management user interface make for simple pipeline management.
- Account Growth - HubSpot enables companies in growing their accounts with automated and segmented communication tools. If you have a new product or service and you want to announce it to a specific segment of your customers, HubSpot makes it easy to send the communication.
- HubSpot's reporting can be improved with additional detail and predictive analytics
- Company data scraping is a great feature that could be refined with more accurate data
- Smaller user interface elements related to document tracking and attachments could be improved to allow simple drag and drop into the CRM
The only Inbound Marketing software you need for SMB
- Full Integration of all required elements of Inbound Marketing; Blogging, Social Media, Landing Pages, Call-to-Action, Email Marketing, Automation Workflows, Personas and Campaigns paired with website native responsive CMS (including website personalization) and integrated reporting / analytics.
- Continuously improved and updated SaaS platform
- Easy to use and time saving
- Competitors monitoring
- SEO optimized
- CRM included, satisfactory for most SMBs
- The only thing we miss is not being able to swap content pieces within an existing workflow. You have to create a new one.
- It's important to setup a folder structure for images and content in front to find the requested assets easily.
