Reviews
(601-625 of 654)- Integrates several vital functions of inbound marketing into a comparatively simple, yet extraordinarily robust/complete system that is usable by complete non-technical users.
- Evaluates our work as we progress, provides real-time coaching/suggestions, and makes analytics on our results accessible to non-professionals
- Optimizes the impact, integration, and interactions of various tasks, providing surprising leverage ("whole is greater than the sum of the parts")
- The vast majority of inbound marketing functions are accessible through a common portal
- Continue the good work in making global changes (all pages, all pages with a specific feature--i.e. CTA's, etc., all sub-pages to a particular page) easier to understand and make
- Acknowledging the GREAT work that has been done in this arena, the system is so complete, has so many features, that making it easy to understand, access, and use the different parts will always be a challenge. It really has to be "dumbed down" for some of us!
- Although it's probably a failing on MY part, here are some things that are still hard for me to figure out: How to access HS "offers" without completing another form (and understanding the difference between the "Library" and where those offers/worksheets/tools/etc. live, work flows, and using many of the reports.
HubSpot One Stop Shop
- HubSpot is a one stop shop, I don't have to have multiple screens up to post a status, I have everything right in front of me. It cuts down the time I spend social media blasting so I have time to focus on other projects.
- I love all the tools they have to help with blogging. I've never done any type of blogging, so being able to read about them, or see exaples and get tips from the experts is extremely helpful.
- The Dashboard if a great tool to see the stats of your webpage and social media all in one place. I know when my performance is high, and when I need to kick it up a notch.
- I would love to be able to post to instagram as well in social media.
- The templates for webpages are a little bland and boring, I believe we brought one over from Joomla, which has worked great.
HubSpot gives power to your company
- Lead nurturing workflows. These workflows allow us to leverage our leads and maximize our email marketing. We are able to show our prospects what they want, when they want to see it at critical points of engagement. Not just when we remember to send it. Workflows have the ability to help drive our leads down the sales funnel.
- Lead scoring. This helps make our sales organization more efficient because we are able to decide at which point a total score would validate marking a user a qualified lead who can then be sent to our sales team for conversion. HubSpot's lead scoring let's us set up a custom set of criteria to automatically score our leads in real time
- One of the only things that comes to mind where HubSpot could improve, would be to have an option for timed workflows. There is research that supports there are certain times that are just better to send an email and I think if we were able to implement a feature like this, we would be able to even better engage our prospects.
- Completely handles our content development strategy
- Great training on how to use the platform
- Very easy to use!
- I really love Hubspot so I am having a difficult time finding something wrong with it.
Love it, want more of it
- Support is always very helpful, and HubSpot has done a great job of creating new features based on customers' needs.
- "Smart" forms and CTAs make the buyer's journey more personalized
- Social media tools have been extremely helpful for tracking and interacting with contacts on social platforms. Sharing is easy across all sites.
- Organizing all of the content can be difficult - CTAs and emails need folders, just like lists have gotten folders.
- I'd like to see more than one workflow be able to be added to a campaign.
Curtis Campbell / HubSpot Review
- List management - you can create an infinite number of lists, from as small as 1 person to as large as you want. That way you can tailor your messaging to each segment of your market with relevant, actionable content
- Blogging - coming up with relevant content is hard enough. Have a proven engine like Hubspot that serves as the framework of our blog makes it easy to develop, publish, and distribute blogs. Also, the blog engine allows people to subscribe so that you simply need to worry about blogging on a regular basis.
- Social Media Announcements - you can put "follow me" buttons on any page you want; making the sharing of information as easy as pie.
- Email Campaigns - with pre-formed templates, you can create professional-grade emails in minutes. This combined with list management makes sure your content reaches the right people.
- Keyword management. Hubspot does a great job of showing where your traffic is coming from. But, if Hubspot could integrate with Google AdWords, that would be amazing. Managing SEO from one location would save me a lot of time.
- Lead announcements. As a marketing department of one, it would be great if Hubspot sent me a new email every time a new lead was created. While this function may already exist, I certainly haven't seen it.
- Newsletter functionality. You should have a function to create newsletters to send out to nurtures/customers.
HubSpot: the best marketing platform on the web.
- Generate landing pages
- Organize lists
- Organize calls-to-action
- Send Emails
- Track contacts
- Score Leads
- More direction for specific campaigns.
- Too many features makes it difficult to know where to start
- There could be better integration into Wordpress
Many Great Benefits
- I find one of the best things about Hubspot to be the customer service. We were assigned a specific contact who is in charge of our account, so if we ever have any questions...she is already familiar with how the company works. She will either provide us with the help we need, or direct us to someone who can.
- They also have many training sessions via GoToTraining, along with the Hubspot "Academy" which provides tutorials on specific functions - should you need further explanation.
- Our company also recently re-vamped the website, and it is now Wordpress based. Since Hubspot integrates with Wordpress it definitely eased the website transition process. Hubspot enables you to put a tracking code onto your Wordpress site with a plugin, so you can still capture the Hubspot analytics. That way you can still monitor the website traffic so you can figure out how to best make improvements and get more leads.
- My one issue is that there is so much that Hubspot can do, it's hard to take advantage and learn the ins and outs of all of it...but I guess that's a good problem to have! Things like the automated emails that get sent out to leads, as well as the Hubspot analytics...they are both fabulous functions. But there is so much that you can do with these features, sometimes it's hard to find the time to just sit and plan out what emails will be automated when, and how all of the analytics really impact the company and what to do to improve our marketing efforts (but that's not really Hubspot issue).
HubSpot - How Our Small Business Yields Big Results
- HubSpot's software coaches you through all aspects of building an effective website.
- HubSpot Academy trains me in best practices and the instructor and peers in the courses provide feedback on my projects.
- HubSpot's Blogging software is simple and easy to use.
- I love how all of my social media sites are notified when I post a new blog. It's a great time saver!
- It would be nice having an option within HubSpot for an autoresponse email.
Hubspot Worth Every Penny
- Hubspot is fantastic at really understanding what stage you are coming from and helping you build from where you are. Their mandatory training really holds your hand through the process of learning what all the software is capable of, so that you are really getting your money worth. Your consultant will take the time to ask thorough questions about your goals, how your business works, what you want to achieve, how you've performed in the past and they customize their experience with you to make sure you reach those goals.
- This is the second time we've tried Hubspot. The first time, we saw great success but figured we could do it on our own once we learned the basics for much, much cheaper. We were so wrong. Now that we've started again, we will stick with Hubspot. My life -- not even just my job -- is so much easier because of all the tools at hand. Hubspot literally can handle anything you want to from website statistics to social media management to how to gain and attract leads and more. In the two months we've used it so far, we've already seen tremendous progress and we've just scratched the surface.
- Hubspot is also good at continually educating you so that you are always learning about what you are doing. There are new blogs, reports, guides, lists, etc. that really help you become a rock star at your job, just by following their advice and really thinking about how to strategically approach marketing to leads. I think I could get lost reading through all the resources they have available on their website, and that doesn't even touch on all the video tutorials and webinar training sessions you have the ability to go through.
- The Dashboard feature, which I love looking at throughout my work day, is also kind of a pain. The metrics it uses are confusing and sometimes they unexpectedly change. It's hard to get a straight answer sometimes on how they calculate when they appear to be different than expected.
- A few of the training consultants, while experts at what they do, and really do help to make you shine, also can be a bit snarky and pretentious. While I understand, they are awesome at their job and their company rocks, sometimes they answer questions that really are legitimate for me to ask like I'm dumb for asking them.
A Hub For Business Activities!
- HubSpot gives you the ability to have all your business related activities all in one place.
- HubSpot allows you to analyze activity on your website.
- HubSpot is user friendly.
- HubSpot has great customer support.
- HubSpot allows you to manage multiple social media accounts.
- HubSpot offers a free trial period to test their service.
- It would be nice if you could advertise from HubSpot.
- I would like to see HubSpot offer the ability to interact through a Hub community.
- I would like to see HubSpot add a survey capability to their toolbox.
HubSpot is the only place we need to go to market to our coaching clients/prospects
- HubSpot allows us to blog on a regular basis and to schedule the blogs to go out regularly in the future, without manually doing it each time.
- We will be utilizing HubSpot for our newsletter function in the near future.
- Hubspot allows us to easily track our marketing metrics.
- I've personally had issues finding answers on how to do something, in certain instances. This may be as much an issue of me not typically utilizing it in the way I'm looking to at the time, as well as a matter of it offering so many things in it's repertoire that I'm not even familiar with.
The new Help feature is a great offering.
Way to go HubSpot!
- Hubspot is an all-in-one inbound marketing solution for mid-size organizations that can't afford to rely on "power users" to make the most of their blogging, SEO, social media and other marketing automation software.
- The software is very easy to implement and easy to use with minimal education investment
- It's a great solution for any organization that want to to increase the number of inbound warm leads and convert more qualified visitors into sales opportunities.
- With its seamless integration with salesforce.com, Hubspot offers a complete closed loop reporting providing both marketing and sales with a single source of truth. That’s huge from an accountability and time saving standpoint.
- What I like the best with Hubspot is that they are maniacally focused on the success of their customers. They don’t stop to show the love with the PO. They will do anything to get you, the new customer, up-to-speed and delivering value back to your organization. They really understand the power of happy customers
- When we purchased Hubspot, their email delivery engine was not on par with the rest of the features. For example, we were limited to 5,000 contacts per send, which forced us to keep our legacy email system for a while. They might have however improved their email feature since I last used Hubspot.
- Landing page customization was good but somehow limited. Having said that this is what makes Hubspot an easy platform to use for anyone in the marketing department - you don't need to be a power user - and the main reason we picked that solution in the first place.
- Very knowledgeable about outbound marketing.
- Very good at explaining the outbound marketing process.
- They put on a great conference for people new to HubSpot.
- Not be so rushed when on conference calls.
- Use a enterprise mail system to communicate (Google mail is not enterprise level).
HubSpot is One Lean Mean Marketing Machine
- As I mentioned, the CSS makes it really easy for a non-web designer like me to create web pages and landing pages on my own without having to hire an agency or a web designer. It makes managing my website fast, easy and affordable.
- I love the marketing automation functionality in HubSpot. It's very simple to use and program. I've used other marketing automation platforms and you have to take days of training to get proficient at them. I can create an email, landing page, form, thank you page in no time and it wasn't hard or confusing to learn like the other guys.
- Keyword tools are my savior. I'm not an SEO expert, so having this feature has made me look really good to my boss.
- There is some good reporting functionality, but it could be better. That is one thing that I think I'll go ask for now!
Happy HubSpot review
- Workflow and nurturing. Its great to be able to test content and see what people respond to that leads them through the funnel.
- CTAs - Love being able to quickly create CTAs without having a design background. Makes it easy to design the path you want the customer to create throughout the site.
- Lists - its sometimes confusing and limiting creating and managing lists
HubSpot Has My Trust
- It's the centralized point that connects content to the world, while earning it's trust and getting the client/user leads at the same time.
- I don't have many bad experiences with HubSpot, and this can be because we don't do too many of these, but the ecommerce end of it lacks some of the analytics that a regular landing page does.
Hubspottin
- Driving website visitors into the sales funnel
- Solves a lack of organization for a website/company
- Integrates with other applications very well such as Salesforce
- I have to log-in probably 50 times a day switching between accounts
- Lets our clients know about new features before we know how to use/implement them
- Does not support smooth transitions with product releases
How Hubspot saved our Business.
- Hubspot taught myself and my co-workers what Inbound Marketing is. We had heard the term for years but never fully understood it. Now we fully understand Inbound Marketing and have taught the concept and ideas to our entire company. Inbound Marketing has brought us more leads then we had using traditional marketing methods.
- Hubspot keeps us up to date on current marketing trends both inbound and outbound. We don't have time to follow Google and all the changes they make. Thanks to Hubspot we are told how to change our website to reflect the changes Google makes.
- Hubspot has helped us turn our website into another sales person. The Blogs have helped us get new organic traffic we would never be getting. Calls to Action have helped us capture visitors to our website and convert them to leads.
- The idea of the Marketing Funnel has been around for years. My boss always believed in the Funnel Idea. Then when Hubspot starting implementing the Sales Funnel, my boss became a true believer in Hubspot.
- Hubspot has changed the Dashboard a few times without us knowing about it. We get used to one design and it changes. They don't always tell us when they change it.
- Key Word Grader is gone, but we know that was Google's doing not Hubspot.
- Hubspot email platform, when it was released in September 2012 they made is seem like it was very easy. The person who uses Constant Contact to set up our Email Blasts did not agree that Hubspots Email Platform was easy. Hopefully it changed.
- That is it! I don't have much to say about improvement.
Mostly unreliable; not worth the effort
- Social media publishing - when it worked, it was nice to be able to publish everything from within our MA software.
- Source reporting - tracking where our leads came from (which channel).
- Salesforce integration - usually worked well, with some inconsistencies in reporting. For the most part our leads got where they needed to go via the HubSpot/SFDC integration.
- Both the blog and landing page tools are not worth the effort. In an entire year of paying for and using HubSpot, we were never able to get either tool working to the standards that we needed. We continued to host our blog in WordPress and our landing pages externally, despite continual requests for help to style and launch both. Because of that, a lot of the other reporting and data within HubSpot was incomplete, and we still had to rely on other sources to get complete marketing reports.
- Overall reliability - at the end of the day, the information our leads filled out in a HubSpot form successfully dumped into SFDC, generally without an issue. That being said, we had multiple problems with duplication; data syncs are painfully slow; there has often been strategic data missing or recorded incorrectly (like lead source information or conversion data); the social media tool frequently posts the wrong thing or an incomplete message (and occasionally just doesn't post it at all); and their reporting was consistently inaccurate, despite how often we went out of the way to make sure the tracking codes were functioning correctly on our side.
- Support & documentation - I can't count the number of times we had to ask for help doing something, and we would receive back a loosely-related article link from the support team that really didn't answer our question. If a client is presenting an issue specific to their business requirements and integrations with other software, then it really doesn't make sense for HubSpot's support team to continue sending out the same cookie-cutter articles over and over again. Their actual tech support team has some great people on it, but we never had much luck with anyone else in customer support or account management. I can remember several occasions when we were told that a certain thing wasn't possible (or "wasn't a best practice"), only to find out on our own later that it was completely possible (and in some cases, really straightforward). Needless to say, we learned not to rely on most of their staff for practical or strategic help.
- The list and "workflow" concept is pretty clunky. Compared to other providers, who have a logic-based campaign/segmentation structure, HubSpot's methodology is pretty low-tech. It's impossible to handle things like behavior-based segmentation with any measure of agility and competence when the tool you have isn't able to understand user behavior, account for strategy changes, or even report accurately on its own performance. Thankfully, our marketing team has some great problem-solvers on it, who could come at an issue like this from a lot of different angles until we could figure out how to make the list/workflow structure behave the way we needed it to. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone who has any complexity to their segmentation or lead nurture strategy.
Hubspot: The #1 Inbound Marketing Company - Learn the Truth about Whether Inbound is for YOU!
- Inbound Marketing Training - The HubSpot Academy is wonderful. There is so much content there for the novice all the way to the experts.
- Hubspot Support - My experience with support has been extraordinary. As a Partner with Hubspot, the Inbound Marketing Consultants are there to help throughout the process. As a user of the Hubspot Tool, I have found every single Hubspot support representative to be courteous, enthusiastic, and extremely helpful.
- The Hubspot Experience - In our relationship with Hubspot, we have bettered our business structure by learning the importance of setting goals and expectations. Hubspot does not "over-sell." The software helps provide the necessary tools to succeed with inbound marketing.
- Sales tools - As a partner, I would like to see more e-books, whitepapers, etc. available for me to use in our sales process of selling Hubspot.
- Organization of material - Since there is so much content on the Hubspot site, it is sometimes difficult to find what I'm looking for... It has improved a lot over the last six months, but there is still some room for improvement.
- Blogging help - I would like more tools to help create content for our blog.
HubSpot. It's the new thing.
- HubSpot has a great blogging tool. It's user-friendly and won't let you forget any aspect of the blog before you post. It tracks your keywords and traffic.
- The email tool is great. It's easy to use. I have been able to create templates myself and with little graphic design experience. You can send the email right away or schedule it to post after sending test emails. The tracking capabilities are far better than iContact. And the results have been awesome!
- Creating landing pages along with thank you pages was a scary thought to me considering I have never designed a thing myself, graphically. HubSpot makes it so easy. With ready-made templates or custom templates, it takes no time to whip up an attention grabbing landing page!
- The blogging tool seems to be a little more time consuming with the new update. Prior to the update, I could post a blog in a few simple steps. Now, it takes me a few minutes longer to navigate between the 3 page options and also post meta description and keywords myself instead of it automatically copying over.
- HubSpot customer service can be off. We have been through a few reps. Oftentimes when we call, we are told that we need to submit a ticket instead of receiving immediate attention. We are a gold member.
- One of our clients blogs, landing pages and thank you pages were completely deleted after we had spent hours moving their website over to HubSpot. The answer for that was that it was being worked on...they didn't know it was also deleted out of our portal; they had just intended to delete it from the portal of another HubSpot client who had access to our site but shouldn't have. We were given a specific time frame and that deadline was not met until weeks later. That was very frustrating to our client.
HubSpot doesn't uncover the next wave of marketing, HubSpot is the FUTURE of marketing!
- Inbound Marketing through HubSpot has not only changed our marketing agency but it has changed the way that specialty manufacturers can target their audience through marketing efforts. Their innovative and cutting edge methodologies re-energize marketers.
- HubSpot communicates clearly the marriage relationship between sales and marketing and, through their literature, demonstrates how the two can empower each other to better the sales process.
- HubSpot has a contagious way to make marketing lovable through their blog and their annual conference. Marketing through HubSpot is continuous learning, testing, trying, and bettering your own process. Marketing is the vehicle but the HubSpot tool is the "secret sauce."
- Because HubSpot is innovating and communicating a new way of marketing, there is typically much excitement on the "newest and greatest" release or idea with few answers about actual ROI or "best practices."
- Sometimes HubSpot rolls features out without telling their VARs. Typically, the roll outs are not monumental but to fix the communication barrier, they hold weekly partner broadcasts (webinars).
- The resources library doesn't have much on the sales side of marketing. This is currently being developed though.
Hubspot Ins and Outs
- Shows data in a digestible format.
- Breaks out data in helpful ways.
- Puts all your data in one place.
- Provides good training assistance etc.
- How granular the data can be.
- Definitely needs to look at what Google analytics does as far as website analytics go.
HubSpot is a Marketer's Dream Come True
- Support. HubSpot's support team is awesome. Their consultants have an uncanny ability to learn about your business and industry quickly and make specific recommendations for using the product based on that understanding.
- Breadth of product. We looked at several solutions before deciding on HubSpot, but none could give us all of the tools that we got with HubSpot.
- Staying current. HubSpot does a great job of noticing (and even starting) industry trends, and they do a wonderful job of ensuring that their product gives marketers the tools they need to stay current and ahead of the game.
- Sales process. I felt the sales process was a little on the pushy side, which goes against much of what HubSpot preaches. We were ultimately pleased with the final result of the sales process and appreciate the offer we got, but sometimes felt overly pressured along the way.
- Reporting. While HubSpot has some terrific intelligence features, it isn't always easy to access the information you want. I would love to see the ability to receive PDF reports on certain metrics via email.
