Companies can't remove reviews or game the system. Here's why

I've used a variety of marketing automation platforms, and HubSpot is a stand-out. It's so intuitive and easy to use, and the HubSpot team is committed to making sure their customers are happy. I haven't seen that with the other platforms I've tried.

Although HubSpot's reporting and goal setting may not be as diverse or in-depth as Google Analytics, I prefer it as it is a more simplified and organized approach to the important information I need. Hubspot had recently improved their reporting features with an add on to make this even more robust.

For the size of our company and the budget we were working with, we looked at both HubSpot and Marketo. The two were comparable in features and functionality; however, I did not find the Marketo interface as intuitive through the demos we received. I'm sure it also helped that I had some exposure to HubSpot in a previous role, so I knew the learning curve would be much quicker for me with HubSpot as well. I think the biggest difference is that Marketo seems to have a much bigger emphasis on outbound marketing, whereas HubSpot has planted their flag firmly on the inbound side. Given our own strategy of using content to attract, educate and convert our prospects over time, HubSpot seemed to be better aligned.

HubSpot is leaps and bounds above other marketing technology platforms that I have used. While other platforms have really been email marketing solutions, HubSpot is literally an extension of my sales and marketing team.

I have used Sidekick with HubSpot as it gives me more information about my leads. Being able to see a leads activity live helps determine which leads to reach out to. It makes it easier for me to know what contacts I should spend more time on, which allows me to use my time wisely.

It is much more comprehensive than MailChimp, but similarly intuitive and modern. MailChimp is a good tool if you just want to manage lists and send emails. HubSpot takes it much further with sales management and marketing automation with landing pages and CTAs. I would recommend HubSpot for someone who is out-growing MailChimp.

Out of the other tools that I've used in my career I do find Hubspot the best. It's the easiest to use by a long shot. You give up a bit of the customization and flexibility, but you get a superior product and incredible customer support. Hubspot is truly committed to your success with the tool AND the success of your company overall. That puts them ahead of any company in my opinion.

I used ONTRAPORT, previously called Office Autopilot, for a couple of years. I loved it. It was very user friendly.

I also used Sendpepper, ONTRAPORT's little brother, for a while as well. I loved it also. It was very user friendly, had a degree of auto email functionality, and was very cheap.

Neither were as well set up, user friendly, supported by training, technically supported or with the complexity of functionality as HubSpot though. It was a tough choice and we decided to go with HubSpot because it could handle our planned growth, plus the sales team told me it had auto email functionality - I genuinely think they thought the basic package did, rather than were misleading me on purpose. I don't think I'd have gone with HubSpot if I'd known about the lack of auto email functionality in the basic package, however, I'm glad we did because it is such a good system in so many ways. I'm just frustrated that we can't afford to upgrade to the Professional package now and probably not in the next few years.

HubSpot annihilates ONTRAPORT. The emails are way better, the landing pages are about 100x better, the list building, the segmentation, absolutely everything about HubSpot is better than ONTRAPORT, which is why I moved away from using ONTRAPORT and toward HubSpot.

I prefer HubSpot over a "Marketo/Salesforce" stack because it's all encompassing, easy to use, cleanly designed, and if I ever am stumped on something, I can easily reach their support team with a question. HubSpot support is second to none — their staff is always patient, helpful, and finds me an answer. I never had that with Marketo (which was like finding a needle in a haystack).

We have used Infusionsoft supporting some of our clients, and found it to be more of a toolkit for lead nurturing, and less of a methodology for attracting and developing new clients. But it is serviceable in its proper role.
We also found Infusionsoft to be very confusing to navigate, especially for users who implemented in older than current releases, and needing to migrate up.

  • IBM Silverpop Engage
We moved away from Silverpop because it was much easier to use HubSpot and see how our emails were turning into leads. The forms and landing pages didn't depend on a developer to create. It was overall a much more comprehensive solution so that we could manage social, our blog, email, and website stats all in one integrated platform.

HubSpot was already in place when I joined our agency, and I learned it on the job. As an agency professional, working with this platform has helped me become proficient with a single fantastic software tool and allowed me to step back from the technical intricacies and focus on strategy for my clients instead.
HubSpot has also helped our clients eliminate complex, hard-to-track marketing stacks by combining all their efforts into a single software application.

HubSpot has vastly superior email template design, lead scoring, and contact list management than Pardot. We have switched 100% from Pardot to HubSpot and haven't looked back! We continue to use Salesforce for Sales emails and processes, which works for us because it integrates with HubSpot, which we use for marketing purposes.
