Companies can't remove reviews or game the system. Here's why

I didn't expect to need more functionality from a social media standpoint- but HubSpot allows me to host, monitor, schedule all in one place AND it provided me the practice to take on more of a role beyond social. We chose HubSpot against Marketo initially, and Marketo's lack of social media management was a big factor in that decision.

Infusionsoft is a platform that we started using before HubSpot and we still use today. There are specific features that I like better with Infusionsoft than with HubSpot. The biggest feature that Infusionsoft has that HubSpot is missing is the integrated eCommerce and order forms/landing pages. If HubSpot had those built in natively then we'd probably dump Infusionsoft. However Infusionsoft isn't really a fair comparison to HubSpot because Infusionsoft lacks the social publishing, blogging, calls-to-action and the reporting ability that HubSpot has. HubSpot is the clear winner if you're looking for a solid all-in-one marketing platform in my opinion.

Way way better. All in one place. Google Analytics has a better user story and traffic flow capability so we still rely on it in some situations. It also has better event tracking and stronger analytics especially considering the free price tag. But when it comes to a lead generation platform for an inbound marketing approach the combination of high caliber tools like forms, landing pages, ctas, blogs, campaigns, and keyword tracking is far better than any tool or tools I have tried to piece together in my career.

HubSpot is more well-rounded than either VerticalResponse, Emma, or MailChimp. However HubSpot integrates with Salesforce nicely and therefore they were not a competing factor in making the decision to go with HubSpot over the other 3 email programs.

Google Analytics is great. It gives way more data than HubSpot. HubSpot, however, allows you to know and understand your visitors as people. The software stores them as people with likes and dislikes and then lets you communicate with them, on an on-going basis, based on their profile not just their website visits.

HubSpot beat these companies based on their robust power, interface, and value. Other companies wanted to charge outrageous enterprise rates for each of our locations. HubSpot worked with me to prune our contacts database and agree on a reasonable pricing package. Their sales team does not put you on the spot or in awkward pressure moments. We've all been solicited, and had that skanky sales rep try to slide around you to the decision-maker/check-signer, as if he is going to use the marketing software. I consider that a huge insult, and Vocus did just that. HubSpot on the other hand used respect, humor, and their amazing blog to slowly build trust with me, offering to answer any questions along my long evaluation process.

Both programs are good, but HubSpot has more features and really specializes in the small to mid-size business. They align well with our organization's goals. Also, HubSpot's customer service is unparalleled. I have never worked with a company that has customer service on the same level. Every employee is knowledgable, friendly, and extremely helpful.

Hands down Hubspot has the best customer support services of any software I have ever used in 20 years of digital publishing. What sales people say up front to you from other companies is one thing -- Hubspot actually delivers on what they say and back it up with immediate customer support with real live people. That alone sets them apart from all the other competitors out there and makes my job easier and produces more results for our sales folks and our advertisers.

Before we purchased HubSpot we tried Salesfusion and it was a disaster. The software was really difficult to use (coming from a very tech-savvy person) and just getting a campaign launched or newsletter in place, took weeks if not months. We are SO happy to have found HubSpot! Their software is incredibly easy to use and really makes us incredibly efficient with our marketing tasks.

  • Act-On,Marketo Marketing Automation
HubSpot was selected due to its relative breadth of functionality, responsiveness of their salesteam during the evaluation phase, its intuitive interface and the growing community of HubSpot partners and users not only in North America but also in EMEA. Our basic vendor selection between HubSpot, Marketo and Act-On ended in a clear winner for our own business purposes: HubSpot. This is not to say we would not be recommending Marketo and Act-On to other companies. Given their business needs, an alternative to HubSpot may be better for some (B2B) companies.

Hootsuite and HubSpot are similar in that you can update and monitor all of your social media sites in one place. However, you can't do nearly as much with Hootsuite as you can with Hubspot. With HubSpot, you're also able to monitor your analytics and see which posts are getting the most clicks and interactions, which isn't something you can do with HubSpot. Hootsuite is limited to social media, but with HubSpot, you can do everything.

We also evaluated Pardot, but due to a team members experience with HubSpot, we elected to take this path. We also did not have a good experience with the sales process for Pardot and couldn't get past that.
