Companies can't remove reviews or game the system. Here's why

We selected HubSpot because they answered our needs (those of a small company) without making our challenges seem less important than much larger companies with huge sales forces. We found their approach and customer service philosophy to be closely aligned with our own.

There really isn't another product that compares to HubSpot. It would take several products, working together, to recreate what HubSpot does from a single platform. Before I ever tried HubSpot myself, the integrated features had me very interested. There are products that can do part of what HubSpot does. WordPress is a SEO friendly website platform, HootSuite can help you deliver content to your social media platforms. Salesforce and Sugar are good CRM options. We never really tried any marketing automation platforms. Marketo is well regarded in that domain, but the cost was prohibitive for us. Based on my conversations with other users, it would have cost more than HubSpot to use and then we still would need additional products to perform other functions.

  • GreenRope,InfusionSoft
GreenRope had a difficult user interface. It had an CRM which was appealing, but HubSpot has since added a CRM. InfusionSoft did not have any SEO added into the product. That was a huge part of our decision. We spoke with a business acquaintence who uses InfusionSoft, and she said she found InfusionSoft difficult to use. I liked that InfusionSoft has the ability to leave voicemails to several people at once (I think it was 50). I also liked that InfusionSoft had the ability to automate up to five actions for every action. So for example, if I add a contact to the CRM, I could set five things to happen, like send an email, send to the sales department, etc.

We had no great selection process as we love to do things and HubSpot seemed fine from the beginning. We read some reviews and talked to some agency people who know other marketing automation tools. Most people said HubSpot is great but pretty expensive (which is true from a startup perspective). We just had to come up with a decision between building up our own tool chain vs. HubSpot. And we decided for HubSpot as we didn't want to spend time and resources on building up and integrating several different tools.

  • Buffer,HootSuite Free
HubSpot is way better than HootSuite in the fact that scheduling social media has become so much easier for me. I like the fact that if I schedule a photo for a social post, my readers don't get redirected to an owl.y page. This saves me time in that I don't have to (usually) post photos live to the networks I manage. I also like the fact that you can schedule to the minute, rather than every five minutes like HootSuite requires. I have also found that Buffer would quite often glitch on me and that the timeline of what you have posted for social is less confusing in HubSpot.

None, HubSpot made everything clear and obvious from the first time we hit their website. We did not look any further.

HubSpot crushes Pardot. Pardot is light-years behind HubSpot with email marketing. Any email marketing worth his weight in salt would be able to tell you [what to] think within 10 minutes of using each platform. For example, compare the nurture program features on both platforms. Next ask yourself why Pardot always returns a value of 0 for soft bounces. If this is the case, then why even have that metric.

I have also sent emails through Pardot that have received higher than usual hard bounces. I looked into this and found that Pardot does not immediately remove hard bounces. That's right - if you send an email on Monday and a lead hard bounces, there is a chance if you email that same lead on Thursday they will be in the hard bounce report again.

Essentially, they are all great platforms, some more feature rich than others. We use HubSpot because it's a great platform and the HubSpot team is excellent to work with. We know that when we run into a challenge, we can pickup the phone, dial their support team, have the phone answered by a human being, and our support issue resolved really quickly. HubSpot, put simply, loves their customers.

I've only worked with WordPress previously and I had a difficult time in leveraging different other products in order to get all the features I now have in HubSpot. It was time consuming and challenging, if not impossible, to track the efficiency of my marketing strategy across different channels.

We evaluated Act-On, Pardot and Marketo. We found for the price they all offer similar features. The main advantages is that they have more tools in one place meaning I can get access to social media sharing, keyword tracking, SEO feedback, automation, emailing and blogging integrated. Second is the was of use and quick time to train new employees. Finally and most important is their support is unparalleled. Just check how long each one of the companies takes to respond and you will see its a no brainer

I believe that HubSpot is a much superior product to Act-On. After starting with Act-On and moving to HubSpot our process became smoother and more organized and our capabilities more vast. HubSpot is a very nice robust system if you can afford it. The product is better organized than Act-On and it has more possibilities such as blogs/blog management, and a better responsive wysiwyg editor.

HubSpot is the first program I've used as I am a recent grad. From the sounds of it, I landed into the fortunate situation of not having to deal with muddled and other confusing programs. On top of the fact that HubSpot appears more human and is great at building a culture.

To be honest, I did not use the other competitors all that much however, for a while we did all of the activities we used HubSpot for across 10 different softwares and it was horrible. We couldn't track people at a micro-level and none of the software would communicate with each other.

I have worked with clients who initially used Marketo or Pardot and there is no comparison. Before switching to HubSpot they were very limited in their understanding of where their marketing and sales processes needed improvement. HubSpot made things incredibly easy and they started getting results almost immediately. I have never worked with a company who switched from a competitor to HubSpot and regretted their choice.

I don't want to call out any companies specifically but what I will say is that we have seen many clients come to us using several tools to essentially do what HubSpot can do. They save money and time by transitioning to HubSpot.
