Companies can't remove reviews or game the system. Here's why

We moved to HubSpot from Constant Contact, which was a substantial leap forward in marketing technology. Compared to other popular solutions on the market, HubSpot is much more affordable and still gets results. A large enterprise might need a more robust marketing system with multiple software solutions but HubSpot is a great all-in-one tool for companies who want to combine blogging, email marketing, social media and SEO into one place.

I can't stand Salesforce interface. It feels like 6 software packages cobbled together with duct tape. It appears that hubspot is taking the best features of CRM and integrating it into their own package. THere is no comparison between Salesforce and hubspot. Salesforce might be an older and more developed product but the interface and billing method really put me off. I actually bought a year of sales force last year and I have used it maybe 10 hours. I just didn't like the way it felt compared to hubspot. And why would I want data in two places again? I already have that with maximizer. I have also been a maximizer user for 13 years. Great product when it came out but it basically abandoned me by no longer supporting quickbooks integration and leaving me stuck at version 10. At least with a cloud product like hubspot, it will continue to evolve and change according to customer need because its built that way. Other systems were built by engineers to meet their needs first and the customers needs second and when the cloud came along, made it difficult to transition between the two worlds.

Constant Contact is extremely limited in what they offer - essentially, everything the Hubspot email function offers is what you get with Constant Contact. However, if you have another way to track leads from your website and are just looking for a way to send out emails in a cost effective way - then Constant Contact is a better choice.

HubSpot is complete and thorough and comprehensive - the others are not. They usually only offer 1 or maybe 2 services, while HubSpot - hence the name - is a spot that is a Hub for all marketing efforts and they are measurable and transparent.
Also - support from other companies, from local reps to tech - usually is terrible. HubSpot is great and I am very critical of this and I still think they are awesome after using them for an entire year now and we are about to renew.

HubSpot is WordPress on steroids, and then some. Much of what HubSpot does could be accomplished with WordPress plugins, but I would be lacking the unified interface, educational resources, and experienced support that HubSpot provides.

Before HubSpot we approached the same work the same way, but we had only Google Analytics and AdWords for planning and we had only server logs and a few other clever tricks to figure out what was actually happening on our site. It was like looking at a statue covered by a sheet. HubSpot pulled the sheet off so we could see what was actually there.

Over a year ago, I evaluated both Marketo and HubSpot for our marketing automation platform. While the two platforms have a lot of similarities, HubSpot is just more intuitive and offers the same bragging right of Salesforce integration. Ultimately, HubSpot's social media monitoring and publishing, and the interface for email campaign development were just better than Marketo.

We don't do subscription services which is where Infusionsoft shines. We do marketing, social and web presence work. That is where HubSpot shines. We choose HubSpot because it solves our sales and marketing needs in both functionality and the amount of human cost it takes to run the system.

We also use Freedom as a CMS which does give developers a bit of wiggle room when implementing designs. The only issue I have is I have to go to a developer to create layout structures vs HubSpot gives me the options to do it on my own without bugging a developer.

I used ClickDimensions at my previous job and the difference is night and day in terms of usability, support, and capabilities. ClickDimensions is tied directly to Microsoft Dynamics CRM, which gives it a penalty from the start, but it was incredibly hard to use, was always down, and support was non-existent. HubSpot is the exact opposite - love it!

Many of the reasons why we chose HubSpot all stemmed from the fact of it being an all in one product, where we can manage all of our marketing efforts using one program. This really appealed to our company and we really like the analytics and reports that are offered with HubSpot. Being able to tie everything in and HubSpot show you what you are missing from a blog post or social media message is what we wanted. Many other competitors don't offer the "You are forgetting _____" in your post. The reminders for keywords, hashtags and meta descriptions was something that we wanted. Competitors seem to offer a little bit of this and just a bit of that and not the whole package. We wanted something that could eliminate time spent going back and forth between programs to accomplish daily marketing efforts and HubSpot allows us to do this.

We didn't look at any other integrated systems. In the past we have used WordPress for blogging, Constant Contact for email, Joomla for web site maintenance and SalesLogix for CRM. HubSpot was selectged specifically because it will eliminate the four independent systems and the data duplication that was required using them.

I am yet to find any other product that offers all of the tools that HubSpot does. Some tools like MailChimp and Sprout Social do a portion of the work that HubSpot does, but nothing offers all of the same quality of tools located in one place. It is just a superior product to anything else that I have used.

Marketo had more capability than what we needed. There wasn't a circumstance that I could see us using all of the functionality so it would be like buying a Porsche when you need a reliable Toyota. HubSpot has almost all of the capabilities that we need in our small business, so it is a perfect fit for our needs.
