We need some insurance enrollment applications with nearly 4K users once in a year for around 3 months and we find it extremely useful to host the applications on the IBM Virtual Cloud Servers.

Flexible Cloud configuration management tool and the features are powerful and tje Authentication option and data security level is impressive. Isolation of network segments and the functionality on multiple data storage management the effective ability on data access control, this IBM system provides the most helpful capabilities and the load balancing features are incredible.

There are instances where there may be hidden corrupt issues in a users machine. With the virtual workaround we can help to identify the issue by isolating the item. This allows the user to continue working while doing the testing and review process.

We use it on a regular basis whenever we have the need to open up our servers to the public for yearly registrations / enrollments which happen on a yearly basis for a couple of months.

IBM Cloud Virtual Servers are being used as a pilot project to extend our data center used by researchers. In other words, extra jobs that cannot be fulfilled by our data center will be offloaded to IBM VSI. Currently it is being used by one department but it will be used by the entire university once the solution is stable and goes into production.
