The IBM FlashSystem 7200 is ideal for large-scale production databases that require a lot of processing power. Since we started using this solution, our client has accomplished their business objectives. Now that we are using different pools, we can divide the workloads. This solution offers a great repository, data compression, and speed.

It is quite beneficial in terms of providing support for a service that we used for over seven months. It reduced the amount of effort required to complete assignments and duplicate data. Its AI is the most important factor, as the decisions made are more accurate and effective at work.

We did not count on data reduction when configuring the system, but we are seeing 2.2/1 compression without any performance penalty. We did not implement deduplication with the system. Overall performance is amazing compared to where we were.

For our clients, this affects their buying decisions. They calculate how much storage space they will actually need. If there is more compression and deduplication, they purchase less, reducing their costs. Some clients see it the other way that they gain more storage for their spend. They really like the fact that much of this, with encryption, happens at the hardware level.
