What is IBM Robotic Process Automation?

The IBM® Robotic Process Automation offering helps automate more business and IT processes at scale with the ease and speed of traditional RPA. Software robots, or bots, can act on AI insights to complete tasks with no lag time and enable the user to achieve digital transformation.

Typical RPA benefits include the ability to 1) reduce human error, 2) accelerate time to value, 3) increase throughput, and 4) reduce costs. IBM Robotic Process Automation enables workforce augmentation by performing repetitive tasks, acting on data extracted from unstructured documents, and conversing with intelligent chatbots using text and voice response.

In addition, IBM Robotic Process Automation helps clients apply intelligence to classify and understand content, prioritize tasks, make predictive decisions and apply AI to operational data. Core automation features enable users to manage work along with monitoring and reporting capabilities.

IBM Robotic Process Automation has been a fantastic software to increase effectiveness without the need to go to human personnel, with the capacity that bots have, manual hours are favorably reduced, and we have reduced to 30% the time that human personnel spends in front of the computer performing tasks, our internal processes are now automated, we are constantly implementing them in new areas to continue generating positive results.

The emails arrive at all hours and are classified in each folder destined for said work area, in this sense we estimate that we save more than 8 hours a day and in relation to the money saved we believe that it is incalculable. We also control the traffic of documents, spreadsheets and PDF files, but this is the work of each department and I do not have precise data in terms of time savings. IBM Robotic Process Automation is great for the business to date if money has been saved and the nicest thing is the labor time saved.

Chatbots are what save the most time for technical support and self-service, around 6 hours are saved per day in automatic responses to customers and also for loading data from different providers, automated responses are always sent on different portals, if we save a lot of time in self-service.

One of the good feature of AI to complete tasks and providing the digital transformation is effective to save the time in IBM. Also others like Cognitive capability by interaction on data reduces the instances of the errors and increases the automation. Looking at Debugging the error side the resources and documentations are not fullfilled .

For many many of the financial accounting back office processes that have utilized IBM Robotic Process Automation most of the value has been definitely in reducing the human error component that used to occur when the work was not automated. In terms of time savings it saves hours of work across varying processes. The workforce is not necessarily reduced as the time spent is shifted to different work.

We are having 36 plant across India and 1 person each for suppliers bill passing. We have saved around 7 hours on daily basis for each SAP users. Total hours save is 0.45 million hours on yearly basis approximately. Human error is almost nil because users has to take care of only exceptional cases

In our client's organization, by automating numerous operational tasks using IBM RPA, we had saved close to 75 hours every month. Without IBM RPA, the identical activity could take 70-75 more hours per month to complete due to human mistake. IBM robotic process automation saved at least two headcounts from out team which equals to at least 400 hours from the monthly workload and especially the fact that the results we have produced with IBM RPA are less prone to human or clerical errors to it saved another almost 50 hours from our current workload.

I'd say almost 350 hours per month is saved with IBM RPA, if I count the human error that might have caused if we weren't use IBM RPA, I can say it even adds up to somewhere around 400 hours per month, which is substantial for our operations and I hope it will continue in this way.

We are saving at least one headcount from our operations which is almost 160 hours per month and the IBM RPA provides us services for 7/24 for, I mean after the normal working hours even that's why there is also an saving regarding opportunity cost of not having IBM RPA at our disposal.

If you're getting a million white goods orders per year and if all of them gets through a single department, the time needed is massive. For out best estimates, IBM Robotic Process Automation started to decrease the time alotted 5% at the end of first month, it was almost 10% after the first quarter, right now we are estimating almost 15% decrease in time spent when we reach a year.

There is never a working staff that is available to serve clients full time, this is the reason for using IBM Robotic Process Automation and its robust chatbots, I like to implement automation on the Facebook page to reduce our response time When they ask about the time saved, I can assure you that our response is around 40% faster.

Almost all customer requests can be solved with a good implementation of chatbots in third-party messaging systems, 90% of questions are answered automatically and customers are happier, only when customers want to chat directly with our team do chatbots also fulfill a fundamental role by sending a notification to use the team.
