Protect your sensitive data with IBM Security Guardium.
It did help us proactively monitor for data security threats, which eliminated a lot of manual tasks. Apart from that, we can give everyone a custom password to get access to our system, so if needed, we can change that password only, and others won't be affected.

review of IBM Guardium
It takes volume snapshots. The snapshots store safely on storage. it is not allowed delete until coming expire date. So it provides security layer for our business. It has anomaly detection. It checks anytime if there is any abnormal situations it takes actions. Again there is another security layer for us.

IBM Security Guardium Data Protection Review
Of course, it is a useful product in many ways. Thanks to this product, many findings were found and database users who made erroneous transactions and DBAs who engaged in critical activities could be detected. We also encountered situations where database teams detected tools or services that were working unnecessarily and producing failed logins through Guardium logs.

Yes, it proactively monitor for data security threats though there were a few instances where the threat alerts were false positive. Though the false positives occur in very low frequency and should not be a big concern.

Guardium beyond a vanilla implementation!!!
It has identified issues that were not originally planned for and integration with SIEM from the Database has data rich information now to help with decision making.

Robust financial data protection
IBM Security Guardium enables our company to proactively monitor data security threats, which positively impacts its security posture by quickly detecting and addressing potential data breaches, as well as improving future threat prevention and compliance.
It is very common that it generates many security alerts with false positives, but considering that our security increased its efficiency and exponential growth by more than 30% without requiring new licenses, I believe that it has met and exceeded our expectations for the year, this can only be translated in very favorable results.
