we moved from mobile iron years ago to Maas360. the integration is easy if you are moving from one MDM to another. Maas360 was easier to use, easily to implement, and gave us the ability to get many devices out in a timely matter. this was also affordable for the size of our company at the time

Nothing about IBM Security MaaS360 was easy. Setup was difficult and the initial deployment of applications was cumbersome. At the time, data prices were the reason we sent with management software. Now with low data prices we are not using IBM Security MaaS360 anymore.Maas360 is probably better suited for large organizations with dedicated it teams.

It has been very productive in managing our fleet of mobile devices spread across Canada and was easy to use and implement with little effort and easy to maintain once configured and connected to all devices. The interface being web-based makes it simple and convenient to support our users from anywhere. With a simple and intuitive and easy to understand and use makes this a no-brainer for supporting your mobile device fleet for any small or medium or large corporations. The one I support right now has a Canada fleet of over 300 devices spread across the country and has made it easy to support remotely.

There is a fundamental absolute when assessing the on-boarding of an MDM. There must be a complete 100% commitment to the ongoing learning process required to understand the nuances of the solution. As mobile technology evolves, so does any MDM solution. It is vital any IT person supporting this, or any MDM must be fully vested in ongoing learning and development of skill sets in order to properly support the solution in addition to customers using the solution if applicable.

We found it fairly easy to implement. The platform provides a setup wizard that guides you through the configuration process step-by-step. The wizard helps you define policies, configure settings, and enroll devices, making the implementation process easier for both administrators and end-users. IBM also provides training and support resources to help administrators get up to speed on the platform quickly. There are online training courses, webinars, and documentation available, as well as a dedicated support team that can help you troubleshoot any issues.
