We use IBM Watson Discovery in our organization to efficiently and accurately analyse our data and extract useful data points and insights to further improve our software. And all this can be done by using their powerful API which not only is fast and accurate but can analyse almost every type of document such as pdf, excel, word, txt etc. So now we don't need anyone to manually extract data from these files or hire freelancers to do it for us.

IBM Watson Discovery is a very useful data tool that we use and it helps us automate our workflow and increase productivity by efficiently sorting, trimming and analysing our data. It is also integrates really well with other 3rd party and IBM products so you won't run into any issue while using it. Additionally, you can easily generate detailed reports of your analysed data and let me tell you, they can also display the report on a graph too which is really useful and you won't regret using them.

I was able to use IBM Watson Discovery to revise our company policies and regulations. We made amendments and made sure to include all important details. IBM Watson Discovery has helped us and our clients tap into loads of data sources, create collections with documents, enrich these documents, and allow us to search through them and get answers to questions it took us a long time to find in the past, and now it takes us only a few seconds to search and find what we are looking for. This has helped free up our staff's schedules to focus on more important issues rather than spend hours and weeks manually searching documents to find a needle in a haystack.

In the technical area, it took us about six months to train a new analyst in the systems developed by the company so that after this training period, he/she would be able to provide assistance to customers autonomously; even so, the support and monitoring of a full analyst is necessary. As doubts about features, parameterization, and even error correction are frequent, they need to resort to the support of another analyst or even escalate the level of service. As we have a library of documents and manuals on the use of the systems, as well as technical documentation, we were able to create a chatbot with Watson Assistant and integrate it with the Watson Discovery service to include in the answers sent to technicians, the documentation associated with the item it was researching, this ensured that we maintained a standard of knowledge in the company, reduced the need for support from a full or senior analyst in the assistance of the junior analyst, and disseminated all the new features and procedures of our systems in a centralized and accessible way.

IBM Discovery works purely on NLP and machine learning. We have multiple BMC Helix chatbots which are integrated with IBM Watson. IBM Watson is extended with Knowledge Articles through the help of IBM Discovery through crawler, one of the great features of IBM Discovery. Because of IBM Discovery training, we have a drastic change in our statistics of ChatBot accuracy.

We have been using IBM Watson Discovery over the past two years. The solution we are developing uses IBM Watson Discovery for ingesting multiple documents and then querying these documents to extract the relevant content. The way we designed the solution has each paragraph representing an IBM Watson Discovery document because we wanted to return the relevant paragraph when queried and not the entire PDF.

It is helpful in providing smart automation suggestions and helping better set up our processes. I think it has some good intel and has a lot of fun. I think automation and intelligence will help companies make smarter and better decisions to better suit the consumer. I think it will help businesses make sound decisions and help consumers stay engaged in new ways. I think they have a lot of interesting ways to change businesses that are stuck in their old ways and not thinking of new ways to do things. Stuff like that would really help.
