We utilized iCIMS Talent Cloud for our entire Applicant Tracking and offer letter process. This allowed us to manage multiple job reqs at multiple locations throughout our organization and assign various job reqs and job postings to various in-house recruiters within the organization. We also utilized the technology for reporting on our Recruiting function, including candidates that had applied and how they transitioned throughout the entire process.
  • Easy to attach documents throughout various stages of the hiring process, i.e., benefit guides, onboarding documents, privacy agreements
  • Job req creation was easy once job descriptions were saved into the system
  • Easy to track communication sent to the candidates
  • The system requires you to recreate new job postings in order to refresh job boards
  • The reporting functions can be limited to standard reports, and customization can be challenging
I think this is a great tool for larger organizations where there will be large teams of people that need to access the data at any given moment. It provided a good location that was easy to read, where we all knew what was happening with any given candidate or job posting at any given time. This allowed for ease of communication, especially when a Recruiter is working in the corporate office and the hiring manager may be several states away. I think iCIMS Talent Cloud is more than is needed for smaller groups/teams. Also, iCIMS Talent Cloud has good reporting tools, but it is not robust enough to dig into data in ways that are not standard to their system.

We use iCIMS Talent Cloud as a recruiting ATS and retention matrix tool. We use it on both external and internal placements. iCIMS Talent Cloud helps us address retention in the construction industry that we are facing today. It pairs nicely with LinkedIn and other hiring platforms. From previously using Salesforce for recruiting, this is a big step up and improvement to our recruiting efforts.
  • Tracks Applicant status in regards to current application and previous applications.
  • Allows flawless integrations between iCIMS Talent Cloud and our current HCM/HRIS.
  • Gives good metrics/graphs of open/closed jobs.
  • It is a little difficult to track internal applicants that are already active with our company.
  • Some of the fields when hiring an employee are a little difficult to change.
  • Not a sure way of identifying "eligible for rehire" within iCIMS for those that re-apply.
iCIMS Talent Cloud is a great applicant tracking system that allows users to easily identify qualified candidates with built in AI platforms. iCIMS's text recruit is a very helpful tool that allows easy communication from recruiter/admin to candidate, without using personal cell phones on the admin side. This is the day and age that we live in so this is a very appropriate add on.

It was extremely easy to customize job requisitions so that you could report out on company critical metrics. We were easily able to enter in key fields in reqs so that we could report out on recruiting by a multitude of slicers.

iCIMS Talent Cloud is used across our company as the main recruitment tool to run end to end recruitment process. It helps keep track of the candidates, post new jobs on the career portals and also to connect with potential candidates and perform assessments and invite them to the interview.

It is also constantly developing new features that can be easily implemented to a well-established recruitment process. Definitely, iCIMS Talent Cloud supports one global process with some minor local aberrations and it helped us to improve and centralize recruitment services.

iCIMS is being used by managers in all locations across Canada, as well as a team of recruiters. We use it for recruiting. Hiring Managers will create the job posting, recruiters will post to our job boards, manage administration and account settings, help with filtering resumes, moving candidates through the system, etc.
  • Targets a larger candidate pool and attracts more candidates.
  • Integrates with other systems we are using (Sterling Backcheck, onboarding, etc.).
  • Allows us to separate banners within the same system.
  • Issues with social media and how cities with hyphenations appear. For example, Sainte-Hubert, Qc, shows up as Hubert-Sainte which does not yield any candidates.
  • Ticket response time is extremely slow - often have to wait more than 3 weeks for an answer, or have to call in to get the information that we need.
  • Went through several account manager changes with no notification.
  • System is not as user-friendly as sales team would have us believe.
  • We had indicated an interest in some other functionality (text recruit, integration with Sterling BackCheck, etc.) with no follow-up from iCIMS after over a year.
Excellent for posting jobs and reaching a broader audience. Applicant quality is overall fairly decent. The ability to integrate with other systems is excellent. Also looking forward to trying out other functions such as text recruit and virtual job fairs, onboarding, etc.

Not as effective for social media. The process of using social media to post jobs is cumbersome and doesn't have the ability to post on all sites. Could be better.

We use iCIMS Talent Cloud across the whole organization as a way to attract and market talent, track candidate workflow, communicate with candidates, onboard new talent, produce metrics, and compliance reporting. We have also integrated a few third-party vendors into iCIMS Talent Cloud as a way to create a more efficient process for our HR team.

We utilize it to standardize the hiring process across the organization as well as to ensure government compliance and that we are meeting all of our goals in the recruitment space. All of the tools in the system help us create a quality candidate experience.

We have recently launched iCIMS as our new ATS and it is working well, but we've had some challenges with coordination of the various integrations and implementations we are working through. It feels like a lot of disparate pieces and we lost two of our key account people mid-way. The reporting is very robust but very confusing, and the training offered is too general. Overall, great system but feels like they are growing too fast.

  • Offer: Shouldn't list "Offer Rescinded" when edits are made to an offer from the candidate's view. It causes a lot of alarm.
The talent cloud is only as good as the talent pools that are set up. Very time-consuming. I wish it worked more like Linked In Recruiter with more filters.

We are using the recruiting side throughout the whole company. The only issue we currently have is the turnaround for the help desk tickets we submit.
  • Configuration - we are able to configure it to meet our business needs.
  • User friendly - I feel it is easy to use and we are able to roll it out with minimal training for our field
  • System availability - we have limited to almost no issues with the system being slow or not available during business hours.
  • Offer reporting - the offer reports are not available for schedule reporting. This limits what we are able to send to our departments who need to know the upcoming hires.
  • Help desk - the help desk needs to be staffed appropriately. We are [waiting] sometimes a week before we get a response for a ticket.
I think iCIMS is a great product and our account manager, Alim, is wonderful. The help desk ticketing is a problem for us since this delays what we are able to do and help our field on recruiting.

We use iCIMS Talent Cloud for our whole recruitment process. We have about 8,000 current employees at our hospitals all over the country. Our recruiters have full access and use iCims for recruiting, posting jobs, sourcing, and scheduling interviews. The HR directors on-site use the system for sending offers, background checks, and onboarding paperwork. We use most of the iCIMS Talent Cloud functions and enjoy the templates and ability to customize the dashboards and iCIMS Talent Cloud experience as a whole. The one way we do not use iCIMS Talent Cloud is by letting Hiring Managers have access to the system to review candidates and schedule through this system. It helps get everything centralized and is great for the volume of candidates we encounter.
  • Customizable - Easy to customize to your needs.
  • Speed - It's easy to do tasks in bulk and do things efficiently.
  • Reporting - You can pull any report that you need and customize it.
  • Complex Searches - It can get a little busy with searches and if you aren't great at that type of reporting, it can be overwhelming.
  • Customer Service Wait Times - [In my experience] It is so difficult to get through by phone to customer service and when you put in a ticket online or through email, it takes FOREVER to get a response that way either.
  • Visual - iCims is a great platform but it looks a little dated. Maybe a more modern upgrade would be nice.
iCIMS Talent Cloud is fantastic for large-scale recruiting. Especially when it is in a difficult recruiting field (e.g. IT, or Healthcare). It probably wouldn't be that efficient for a small - mid-sized company. The system could be useful for smaller companies if there was a less complex system for them (maybe cheaper too).

We use iCIMS Talent Cloud as our applicant tracking system for our Talent Acquisition team. Within the last two years, we have set up a feed of new hire information to be sent to our HRIS system, ADP. This feed helps eliminate paperwork that needs to be filled out in order to get a new hire in the system. Only our TA team within HR uses the system. We do not have managers set up in the system at this time.
  • I think that iCIMS Talent Cloud is very user friendly to use.
  • I appreciate that as a user admin I can make a lot of changes on the backend of the system myself.
  • iCIMS Talent Cloud is very configurable to make the system how you would like to utilize it for your company.
  • The AI capabilities could be stronger. For example having "bots" send out offer letters automatically instead of having someone have to review them first.
  • We looked at implementing the Onboarding feature, but again due to lack of AI technology, using that tool would have actually created more work for us and our already very manual process.
I think iCIMS Talent Cloud is a great tool to use for smaller companies that may not have that many locations. As previously mentioned we had looked at implementing the Onboard tool but ultimately determined it would not work for us. We are spread out in all 50 states. If we would just have offices in a couple of states, I think we would have been able to move forward with the tool. Also as mentioned, I do think it is an easy system to use. However it isn't like a Success Factors where there are multiple suites that are all housed under the same HRIS. There isn't a talent management feature or org chart system to just name a few examples.

Our entire organization is using the iCIMS Recruit product. Every single person in our organization uses the product in various ways. Prior to using iCIMS, all of our processes were completed manually, which was extremely time intensive. Additionally, we had no way to allow our job candidates to create a static profile (account) and only update when necessary; our candidates had to completely fill out all of their information again when they applied for another position. Our clients love being able to access candidates' information at their convenience; we used to have to create a shared Dropbox folder for this purpose.
  • They are with you every step of the way throughout the adoption and integration phase of going live.
  • Their tech support after going live is superlative.
  • The program is highly configurable, so it works for our unique processes.
  • The program is very robust, so we can pull reports on many different aspects of our business.
  • The resume parsing could be better.
  • On-site training moves extremely fast--perhaps add a day to training.
  • Certain parts of the platform are not configurable that we would like to see configurable. For instance, attachments to a project cannot be alphabetized or ordered.
iCIMS Talent Acquisition Software Suite is extremely well suited for a company that finds itself in a position of processing a high number of job applicants, either for their own company or, like our company, as an Executive Search firm. The software would be less appropriate for companies that don't process too many job candidates at once.

Our entire organization uses the Talent Cloud to some extent, some more heavily than others. All Hiring Managers access our platform to create and submit jobs and offers in iCIMS Recruit/Applicant Tracking. All employees also have access to an internal portal to apply for new positions. The most recent business problem we have been able to address is new legislation requiring us to post specific compensation details for our positions. We have different rates of pay in different locations so with our configurations, the Conditional Field Logic function helped us a lot and iCIMS Technical Support dedicated much of their time to helping us understand it. iCIMS Preboard houses all of our Onboarding documents as iForms, we like that these can be searchable for reporting purposes. Not to mention this has saved a lot of paper. As a User Administrator I have also found that audit trails, email tracking etc. and other ways that iCIMS captures user actions are trustworthy and helpful for troubleshooting. Finally the Candidate Relationship Management helps us connect via talent pools and develop a better understanding of who our candidates are. iCIMS Text Engagement has accelerated not only our hiring processes but also transformed how our Recruiters engage with candidates.
  • Searching and reporting. Once you understand how to set up and save templates, you can generate a LOT of information and configure it to be at the fingertips of those who need it. I have also never seen so much flexibility in how it can be organized.
  • The availability of tools to source and screen, especially as new integrations come about. There are always some technical kinks to iron out but once they are resolved, you can trust that they function well.
  • Simplifying the candidate experience, the look and feel of the Career portals can be configured but there is still an overall recognizable view from the candidate perspective that makes everything clear and organized.
  • We would like Job Screening questions to save previous candidate responses, similar to how Person Screening questions do. This would help us for positions where we ask candidates to write essay-style responses. We see a lot of candidates re-apply for these positions and it's inconvenient for them to re-write everything.
  • The ability to host virtual hiring events using a video tool. We like seeing that video interview tools are in the works already!
  • We had trouble figuring out candidate profile creation from job boards like Indeed. For a while Recruiters were manually uploading resumes into the platform so the Easy Apply integration helped a lot with that. Would appreciate continued improvements.
The experienced Senior Recruiters in our organization say that iCIMS Talent Cloud is the most all-encompassing Applicant Tracking Software they have used thus far which I believe speaks a lot. I cannot picture any scenario where the products are not suited; the options available for different organizations seem to be versatile.

We use iCIMS as our applicant tracking system for North America. We are trying to get it adopted by the all departments. We really like the offer approval workflow.
  • The technical support is fantastic.
  • You can customize it, but it won't take all of your time trying to support it.
  • It is very flexible to meet your recruiting needs.
  • It is not overly complicated.
  • I wish it had an automated process for duplicate accounts.
  • It would be nice to see how many touch points they've had with the recruiter, manager, and system.
  • More detailed training on reporting.
It is a great no fuss applicant tracking system. I really like the acquisition of text recruit. I think texting candidates is more effective than calling them. It helps in setting up interviews and asking them to do something in iCIMS like accept the offer letter or complete onboarding tasks.

  • Provides clean-looking dashboards.
  • Tracks candidate workflows.
  • Gives a good customer facing portal experience.
  • The iForms process makes it difficult to pivot quickly and execute new business ideas/initiatives.
  • No native functionality for initials and signatures.
  • Offer Management tool does not allow bulk sending.
It's well suited for most industries--but more so with companies who have a higher number of employees.

Our whole organization uses iCIMS to attract and hire great talent. We use the new Attract product for our career site, and have a highly configured Recruit platform to serve our vast business needs. We also use Connect to continue engaging with candidates who are not yet ready to make a career move.
  • iCIMS is a very flexible platform that allows us to do most configurations in-house to meet our needs.
  • iCIMS support is available almost always, and comes at no additional charge.
  • New releases happen frequently to allow constant adaptation to changes in the marketplace.
  • I would prefer if we could administer iForms ourselves. We often waste time going back and forth with support to get changes to our forms.
  • I was extremely disappointed to find out that Offer was a product that would come at an extra charge. As a Recruit user, iCIMS knows that we are extending offers. All Recruit customers should have access to the best possible way to extend and manage offer letters.
I could see iCIMS being a great solution for companies of all sizes. I've used it working with companies from a range of 1,200 employees, to over 14,000. I think it's scalable for a large company, but simple enough that a small company without HRIT support could still successfully use it.

Our organization uses iCIMS for our recruiting management system. All requisitions are handled in iCIMS throughout the entire recruiting process. Managers are able to review applicants and manage their open positions in partnership with their assigned recruiter. When an applicant is hired, a data feed sends the information over to our HCMS for a seamless onboarding transition.
  • iCIMS offers robust reporting to quickly analyst recruiting data, including onboarding, EEO, and candidate management reports.
  • The job library can serve as a repository for all company job descriptions. Security can be managed to allow managers to edit portions of the description.
  • The requisition process for hiring managers is intuitive and user friendly.
  • The user interface for back-end users could be cleaner.
  • While iCIMS offers robust reporting functionality, the reporting module could be streamlined and more user friendly.
iCIMS offers a best-in-class talent management solution, so if your organization is looking to switch its RMS, then you should check out the software. You will be able to streamline your hiring process, manage your talent acquisition data in one system, and have one system that managers can use to manage their open requisitions.

We use the system to approve and manage all reqs. It is used across the entire organization. The systems allows us to manage reqs and candidates throughout the recruitment life cycle and report on the process. We also use the systems to generate offer letters and complete portions of the onboarding process.
  • Easily routes reqs for approval

  • Onboarding through a portal improved new hire onboarding experience
  • Improve formatting option in job description

Overall the system has been working well for us. We are rolling the system out to all of our global locations at this time.

We use iCIMS in our Scientific Professional Services division. Our division focuses on supporting our customers' lab and regulatory needs through scientific staffing. iCIMS helps us by providing a robust system to review resumes, keep track of our candidates and openings, and start the onboarding process.
  • It's an ATS first- not another HRIS that has their own ATS.
  • The support team is wonderful. They always get back to you and get any questions resolved in a timely manner.
  • The system is user friendly and intuitive. New hiring managers pick up on it quickly.
  • We've had changes to our account managers that have been confusing. We lost our months ago and still have not been assigned a new one. They are very helpful as they take the time to understand how you use the system and ways to make it even better.
  • Reporting is overwhelming.
  • Searching is cumbersome. Sometimes I just want to look up a phone number who called me, but I can't because of the formatting.
It is fantastic for our division that focuses on scientific staffing. We have many clients, but we're not a staffing agency and still hire full-time employees directly. It's not too simple like other systems- we appreciate all the options and how robust it is.
