Specialized content allows our engineers to be on top of our competency, gain the confidence of our clients, and allow us to perform exceptional tasks that no other companies offer. Also the cyber-ranges offer a way to practice new skills without the need to create a physical lab.

The training package has come with most advantages that has promoted our work ethics. For instance, each employee has acquired awareness skills for fighting with emerging cyber attacks. The specialized content enables me to block internet unsafe sites and share files with safe networks. The platform keeps on updating members when there are new data changes and forms of threats that are harmful.

Since I have completed CISSP bootcamp and the certification exam I have taken a small break from learning anything. I am currently focusing efforts on regaining some technical skills on sites such as TryHackMe and HackTheBox. While Infosec is rich in training material it does not have places to test someones skills as some other sites do.

The training on Infosec has definitely help steer me toward a management role in IT, risk management, quality, governance, and cybersecurity. With the content available, there are a lot of options and future possibilities open to me, whether as an informal influencer or in a formal role as CIO, CISO, CSO, or other senior leadership.

While I have not been able to leverage everything or even a majority of what I have picked up from the course, there have been areas in my work that have benefitted from the training. A lot of them revolve around the areas of awareness of threats, disaster recovery plans, and after-action reporting. These areas have helped me have meaningful conversations with the higher-ups in my organization that have assisted in drafting policies and implementing solutions surrounding these areas to help ensure that we can recover more effectively and [efficiently] from different cybersecurity threats.

Unfortunately, I have not been able to as of yet get to a point where I can fully leverage content specific to cybersecurity within my organization due to the way that my organization is structured. I am able to implement and use some of the different skills, but it is in a limited capacity and degree that is not to the level that I wish that I was able [to].

In our organization, every technician needs to have a solid foundation in cyber security. We require a base set of certifications either at the time of employment or within 6 months. Infosec Skills has allowed us to very affordably give all of our technicians a fair chance to get these certifications. Once the base certifications have been achieved, we can then continue to use Infosec Skills to specialize our technicians in areas they chose or help them catch up in areas they are weak.

We were able to almost immediately start using the skill we had learned in the Infosec training. We have a second SCADA administrator now and he will be going to the next CSSA training available in our area and after this training the CSSA is required to hold the SCADA administrator position.

As a network engineer, my team works closely with the network security team. These courses have given me the understanding to communicate better with this team and more efficiently set new goals, quantify results, and set metrics for success. Being able to take a concept and interpret it into a functional rule is extremely important and is what separates job positions and pay grades. Infosec [Skills] gave me such tools and concepts.
