In my opinion, the software is cumbersome. The implementation was unnecessarily exhausting in my view. No one is available (in the United States) to assist with questions or support I found. InSync has wat too many "managers" and no one to perform any actual customer support in my opinion. The only reason that we selected InSync is that our state requires certain data reporting and InSync does that.

I use Insync Healthcare Solutions every day. I love this product, it's very user friendly and whenever I have an issue with anything, I get a response right away from a representative. He is such a great help. It's a joy working with him and knowing that my issues will be taken care of right away.

We use/purchased Insync Healthcare Solutions EHR/PM system for our Behavioral Health Clinic. We use it to store and in-put medical records, charting on clients, scheduling, billing patients and insurance, taking payments and running practice reports.

  • The only thing I can think of is have support on Saturday and Sunday available by phone.
Since we run a small behavioral health clinic with counseling, psychiatric and medication assisted treatment services, Insync Healthcare Solutions has been even more than we need. Where we see Insync being well suited is in times of expansion. Given that this solution can run a single practitioner clinic or a large one with 40 practitioners, it can grow with us and has the capability to offer services that adapt to our increasing demands. The cost of the system is a bit prohibitive for solo practitioners or very small practices, but given that it is a resource that can be sold with a business, we still consider it a great investment.

Our clinic utilizes Insync for al clinical documentation, patient records, billing and accounting and full practice management. We considered several different platforms and shopped around a lot, hands down Insync's platform is the best fit for us and the best platform we could have asked for. From the integrated clearinghouse with 837/835 and 270/271 capability to the full practice management contained within Insync we have been satisfied from top to bottom. They also have the best support. no turning in tickets, if you need help there is a human to assist you. If they can't do it they tell you but they also request for future enhancement. Insync is one of our most valued relationships and instrumental in our daily success.

We use Insync Healthcare Solutions in our OP clinic for full client medical records and across our entire agency for client information management and billing. Insync Healthcare Solutions has streamlined many of our processes, saves space with records keeping in our largest program, connects multiple programs and departments to share information, saves time with insurance verification and billing processes.

Our experience with Insync Healthcare Solutions is hands down a better experience than our previous EMR system. The implementation process moved at our pace, took into consideration our needs, and worked well with our team. The system is much more user-friendly and does not have near the number of bugs our previous system did. Support is easy to reach and generally very helpful.

InSync Healthcare Solutions was chosen to replace an EHR that we weren't quite happy with. The web-based version was better than the built-in one that we had before, the customer service was so much better in that one too. Not only were the tickets answered quickly, but also knowledgeably and I could also depend on the full support team instead of just one or two people who knew how to address issues. On top of that, the care and thoroughness during the last 2 years of merging new companies into ours was amazing. It may not have all gone exactly as planned, but InSync Healthcare Solutions was able to adapt to the plan as it developed for us and in the end, it did end up working even better than I thought it would. Our main account contacts are phenomenal with open communication, transparency, roadmap, release documentation, and suggested enhancements to the system for our needs.

From the part-time front office staff to the CEO, they will give the same care and consideration across the board and that respectfulness makes for better outcomes when collaborating on how to keep the system, and our company, moving forward.

Our entire office uses [Insync Healthcare Solutions]. Everything from patient registration to record releases and referrals are being done in the system which makes it much easier to document dates, times and details, and collect necessary information at the click of a button. Patients, as well as clinicians and administrative staff, are able to communicate electronically by using the secure patient portal which also allows us to securely send patient records to the client and to send and receive facility forms that allow for the patient to electronically sign and submit. We utilize Insync PM and EHR as well as InsyncScribe. Customer service is phenomenal and the support team is always available! This system has allowed us to finally be on "the same page" with one another for all of our facility needs!

We are currently utilizing Insync Healthcare Solutions across all departments at our organization and for all of our needs. From clinical to billing to appointment reminders and all documentation. It helps keep everything in one easy location and program and works in conjunction with other programs to make everything as smooth as possible. It works well with the Practice Insight clearing house allowing for clinical documentation to exist within the same program as clinical billing.

  • Customization of forms - customize your assessments or utilize premade assessments
  • Customization of reports - easy to navigate for a variety of information, both clinical and demographic.
  • Ease of billing - works well with the clearinghouse and all in one location
  • Some small errors can occur between shared client and providers.
  • Ability to open multiple windows - there are workarounds, but I would like to be able to use multiple functions at once
I think Insync Healthcare Solutions is perfect for mental health clinics--both small and large. There are aspects of smaller clinics that you may not want to utilize the full abilities of Insync Healthcare Solutions for (e.g., if you do any lab requests to make the cost point work well, you have to do a higher number of labs at a time). Previously I hadn't been a fan of their telehealth through Zoom add on, but they took feedback well and did lower the cost of the additional programming. I recommend it for outpatient counseling, both mental health and substance abuse, and for clinics that utilize medication prescribers like psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, and physicians assistants.

We use Insync [Healthcare Solutions] throughout our agency as our EMR. Aside from our primary medical record, it also is our billing system for third-party reimbursement, and any self-pay clients. We also use this EMR for communicating about client with other clinicians in our organization.
  • It is a very user friendly Medical Record. It takes approximately 15 min and anyone can enter basic information.
  • It allows great customizable forms
  • The billing system is comprehensive
  • The reports are great - easy to create, download into Excel and customizable
  • The therapy group feature is a little difficult to use. Setting up the group is easy, the documenting takes a few extra steps.
  • The integration of third party payers takes a bit of time and effort
Insync [Healthcare Solutions] is amazing for behavioral health settings. The customer support/help desk is very responsive. When I call someone answers within 3 minutes and spends as much time as I need resolving any questions. Establishing the medical record is simple with treatment planning easily accessible. Onboarding new staff is effortless, especially with the use of their video tutorials. My office assistant told me today, "I have worked with a lot of EMR's and this is by far the best ever". I totally agree!!

We are a non profit that provides mental health care to the community in a couple ways- mentoring and therapy. Our receptionist uses Insync [Healthcare Solutions] to schedule for our therapists, our intake coordinator uses Insync [Healthcare Solutions] for getting patients started with their therapists or mentor, our therapists use Insync [Healthcare Solutions] for their notes and documentation, and obviously our biller uses it to submit claims.
  • Combing the scheduling, notes, and billing all in one program.
  • Easy to use intuitive programming.
  • Excellent customer service and availability when help is needed.
  • Consistency in training- we have received conflicting advice from different representatives.
  • Better "start up" training, that is more inclusive of all staff.
  • Insync university instructions are not always accurate with updates that have been made to the system.
For scheduling and creating case notes, Insync [Healthcare Solutions] works amazingly well. When it comes to billing, it does leave some things to be desired. Billing is a complicated process, and Insync [Healthcare Solutions] tries to simplify it a little too much. Some providers are unavailable and we have had to physically mail in claims that needed adjustments. Some payments do not post to the website so we still receive paper checks. It would be nice if they would create a way for the program to do these things. Even though it might complicate the use of Insync [Healthcare Solutions], overall it would save our billers time.

  • I would REALLY appreciate the ability to create a standard detailed report & have it generated at the beginning of every month, for the month prior. Tracking metrics takes enough time.
The implementation process was excellent! We worked diligently for MONTHS to create very specific and detailed workflows to fit our needs! Additionally, we have follow up phone calls from Support staff just to ensure things are going well. This program is very well-suited for our needs.

Primarily it is being used in our new (2019) outpatient mental health and substance abuse treatment clinic. The clinicians use it to document notes, the front desk uses the scheduler, we contract with InSync RCM and billing is done from the patient's charts. We also have residential substance use disorder programs and they are using it also but in much lower capacity. They are documenting notes and capturing demographic/insurance info but that's about it.

Insync is great for small to medium size outpatient clinics. The implementation to ease of use sets them apart from other systems. The system is less appropriate for surgical and inpatient practices, where surgical documentation and rounding are needed.

I work for an outpatient pediatric facility that provides Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Speech Therapy, Nutrition Services, Therapeutic Equine Services, Behavioral Health, and school-based services. Insync is utilized across all of our departments. When we were looking for an EMR the difficulty we faced was finding an affordable EMR that could meet our very diverse needs. There are 4 different sets of regulations/rules that we need to follow on a daily basis. An EMR that could meet all of these regulations/rules and continue to change as our needs changed seemed like an impossible task. Insync has met these needs and continues to meet these needs on a daily basis. This product is truly an item that can be individualized to meet the needs of a company at an affordable price.
  • The customer determines how much independence you desire in regards to updating the templates within the software.
  • They listen to their customers' suggestions regarding improvements to the software.
  • They are easy to contact when assistance is needed.
  • The initial trainers were patient with all of the staff and very knowledgeable.
  • When additional training was needed after our first month of implementation, they provided it and kept us moving forward.
  • Insync loves to provide a phone call for every question you have, but sometimes an answer to an email (especially when it is because I can't remember where one key is located ) is enough, versus the full phone call.
It is great for a business that requires flexibility and diversity in its EMR.

We use Insync as our electronic medical record, practice management (billing), and human resources software. We use it throughout the entire organization.
  • Customizable to fit our needs
  • Great integration for all patient care aspects and billing
  • Excellent ability to share information with patients and physicians
  • We would love to be able to send reports via secure email (the functionality s there, but the other party needs the same software, and that is rare in our area
  • We would love to have electronic visit verification integrated into the software - right now we need to use a 3rd party software package
Due to the ability to customize the software, it works well for a pediatric home health agency. We get feedback from physician offices and from patients that our reports are well organized and easy to read. Our clinicians find it easy to use as well.

There are 2 missing pieces for our needs; electronic visit verification and the ability to complete OASIS assessments
