Sage Intacct is a cloud-based financial accounting software system with functionalities for small to mid-sized businesses. Sage Intacct delivers an array of core accounting applications such as a general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash management, and order management to any accounting department or finance team. It also supports functionality for built-in dashboards, real time reporting, time and expense management, project accounting, revenue management, and global consolidations for multiple entities.

The only other product I have used for accounting is "Xero." Sage Intacct is far superior to Xero. I have found that Sage Intacct is far more detailed in its reporting capabilities, allowing for a more complex set of books to be presented. This is imperative when operating a business of our size.

I've used SAP in 4 other businesses and was a super user. SAP is very in-depth and easy to use, and it's that depth of package that makes SAP an excellent product. Comparing Sage Purchasing with SAP, SAP is superior, but Sage Intacct can become as good by using some of those elements that SAP utilises.

Sage stands up well to Harvest in terms of time tracking HOWEVER, I give Harvest the edge because I could attach my Google calendar and add hours in a snap. Also, Harvest has cute design and animated character. More life. That said, Sage is head and shoulders above the dreaded and evil NetSuite, in my experience a foul operating system I came to resent at the end of every week.

Sage Intacct was cost-effective and had more options than the other systems and we were able to meet all the needs of clients. Sage Intacct is the best ERP software which is easy, cost-effective, and user-friendly. So we preferred Sage Intacct compared to other ERP Software. We can generate the reports as per the requirement of the client.

Intacct is much easier to use than the complicated layers of SAP and journal entries are so much easier.
Training new users is also easier on Sage than SAP.

I selected Sage Intacct because it is useful for small and big enterprises. It is easy to maintain books of accounts. It is easy to generate reports. It is easy to customize reports as per our requirements. It is easy to maintain Time and Expense module. It is easy to maintain accounts payable aging and customer aging reports. It is easy toapply cash applications. It is easy to do reconciliation.

This was not very user friendly and we need to do so many function for getting a single output also the reports which were generated for dynamics were not very proper and to generate 1 report it was taking so much of time so the time which Sage Intacct uses is very less compared to it

We have also used ‘The BILL’ application for Controllership, Accounts Payables and Receivables for processing the Bills or Invoices, applying the money and once the data gets integrated with Sage Intacct through a regular sync, Sage Intacct comes up with the financial transactions and reports which In turn makes it easy to project the clients about their financial standing. This would help them take the correct financial decisions to grow their organization in the right direction.

Our company uses BILL application across all towers i,e AP, AR and GL to categorize the bills and it is integrated with the Sage Intacct through a regular syncronization. Intacct is doing a great job in accurately recording financial transacrions ensuring clean and precise books. This is a crucial for clients as it gives perfect clarity to take any decisions.

The BILL application is used by our organization from all the department AP, AR & GL to code the Bills or Invoices and integrated with Sage Intacct through a regular sync and Intacct supports very excellently to record the financial transactions and keep the Client books more accurate, in the Sage Intacct Clean books which is a primary requirement from the Client to have a good record of each and every financial transaction to take the future business decisions.

I found the JD Edwards E1 to be more user friendly and had less hiccups overall. I believe Sage Intacct has a lot of promise. I have a list of input that I am going to provide to our contact on how this could be made better.

Microsoft Dynamics is not very user friendly and has too many functions to get to one result. Sage Intacct is helpful because it is user friendly and allows you to process reports and check registers with ease. The visual look of the application is very inviting and makes you want to work within.

Quickbooks desktop is great for start up organizations. In my opinion, it lacks a lot of features and has a lot of instances where only one user can access a certain area at a time. Sage Intacct allows multiple users to be do similar functions at the same time. Quickbooks did have a lot of template customization options that Sage Intacct does not have, but it offers a lot more features such as invoice approval management that Quickbooks did not. NetSuite is a great solution, but extremely expensive so those agencies with low Net Income. Sage Intacct is worth the added expensive over quickbooks for a mid-size organization.
