Sage Intacct is a cloud-based financial accounting software system with functionalities for small to mid-sized businesses. Sage Intacct delivers an array of core accounting applications such as a general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash management, and order management to any accounting department or finance team. It also supports functionality for built-in dashboards, real time reporting, time and expense management, project accounting, revenue management, and global consolidations for multiple entities.

automation has allowed us to focus on other areas of business with free time as the automation has allowed us to streamline processes and improve accuracy, therefore les time spent doing the tasks but also less time spent checking the tasks. this has resulted in an improved team morale overall and greater outputs

we recently automated our portion of accounts payable, our fellowship payments which were made by a customized database, so that people could insert the information needed. the website will create vendor ID cards and banking information and bill excel uploads. this made it easy for us by taking the information and uploading it into the intact system. this made the rush of fiscal year end and getting this information in as soon as possible.

For our company we usually have upwards of 20 AR invoices a month and we have anywhere from 50-150 invoices any given month. Being able to keep up with both processes at the same time definitely helps our company. The general ledger is key for our company, most reports come from the general ledger and its very easy to pull and use.

We have saved a lot time with the automation of accounts payable. We pay about 2,500 invoices a month and streamlining this process has freed up more of our time. We now can review and ensure we are paying our vendors the correct amount. We have also eliminated paying invoices twice due to vendor sharing across all entities.

Yes, we have benefited greatly from the accounts receivable module (more specifically the collections manager). Collections manager has allowed us to generate automated messages to our clients reminding them of upcoming payments due and any outstanding invoices.

As Intacct integrates with numerous other systems, it makes the whole job far easier. It has allowed us to get over due accounts caught up and has helped with reducing the overall outstanding invoice balance significantly. The recurring invoice feature allows you to create an invoice once and not have to worry about sending it manually each month, saving time for everyone.

We have only begun to implement the AP automation and have not had any experience with AR automation. The AP automation process is extremely easy to implement and begin using. The system continues to learn so that each invoice that is loaded through automation is more and more accurate each time.

To be honest, I am not involved in the accounting side of things, but as for the order management side I can add a little input... it is very easy to convert orders into shipping docs and then invoices, so that definitely is a huge plus so keep everything automated and flowing nicely from start to finish

Reports are quick to generate and sometimes printed as a "web page" instead of Excel as requested. Nice to track AR accounts, and I find payables to be the best aspect of Sage.

While we do not use automation, we do frequently lean on the GL and AP management tools the Sage Intacct offers. We have been able to pay bills more time which has benefited us in terms of early payment discounts and better payment terms, n60 in some cases. Additionally, drilling into GL detail to be able to pull real-time information is highly beneficial for certain decision-making/expense tracking vs. budget.
