What is Izenda?

Izenda is an embedded self-service business intelligence and analytics platform that is 100% web-based. The vendor says their software empowers business users to create ad hoc reports, dashboards and visualizations, without making heavy demands on IT. Additionally, the vendor says Izenda seamlessly embeds in applications, inheriting their existing security model. It works with existing data models and connects to multiple databases, while offering a semantic layer that lets business users explore their data using familiar business terms. Designed for OEM use, the Izenda platform is white-label ready and has no per user or core fees. The vendor says that for independent software vendors, (ISVs), Izenda improves ROI and speed to market, and lowers development cost.

My whole team and I like the flexibility that Izenda's embedded architecture brings to our project. Having worked with tons of other solutions, I even have always spent way an excessive amount of time trying to bypass rigid licensing rules when attempting to integrate BI tools into an enterprise and open architecture.
  • In Izenda the interface to create reports is great for a non-technical users.
  • Very easy and effective.
With Izenda, we can offer our trusted users dashboards, generated custom reports, and ad-hoc reporting, right within our own operation. Integrating the Izenda tool directly into our usage meant that we were suitable to use a small corridor of Izenda as core functionality while reserving the more advanced sections of Izenda for guests willing to pay redundancy for the licensing.

  • One of the best user interfaces.
  • Even a non-tech person can use it.
With the help of Izenda, we are able to build a mature foundation that users can quickly customize to their needs. Once permissions are layered in, we can simply use the same report and only show fields a specific user has access to.
Izenda always provides great support to their users.
