We are a web & app development company. Here we used Jahia DXP, due to its flexibility and ease of use it actually helped in maintaining our client's portals. We also used Jahia's Employee Intranets to connect with the team. It was first recommended by one of my employees.
  • It very well provide 360 degree view of customers. It consolidate data points.
  • It consolidate data points from various source.
  • Easy to use and very much flexible, if require one can add plugins.
Cons
  • Initial setup of system is tedious.
  • Lack of setup documents.
  • They should have provided Templates for certain fixed types of use cases.
It is well suited for medium to large enterprises, especially if the company is handling multiple clients from a wide range of industries. It is not suitable for small companies because the initial setup is tedious and might not be cost-effective to consolidate data points.

We use Jahia as a CMS to feed the different pages of our website.We also use it to integrate contributable content into business applications, so that we can enrich them without having to upgrade them.
  • Ability to create page templates and components
  • Custom development to enhance product functionality
  • Easy to contribute and update content
  • Support team that listens and gives good advice
Cons
  • UI experience could be improved (colors, contrast, general ergonomics...)
  • The technical errors lack the detail needed to fully understand certain crashes.
  • It is sometimes difficult to find documentation on specific points.
Jahia has enabled us to set up a quality site that is much appreciated by contributors.
It also enabled us to build a solution for displaying content administered in Jahia but displayed within business applications.

The option to switch between a headless or traditional approach further enhances the platform's appeal, allowing us to tailor our content delivery strategy based on our needs. The integrated Customer Data Platform is another highlight. It has become an indispensable tool for optimizing conversions and personalizing customer experience.<br><br>We primarily use Jahia's Content Management System (CMS) to build, manage, and update our website and digital content. The CMS's intuitive design and robust tools have allowed our content and marketing teams to work more efficiently and collaboratively. They can quickly create, edit, and publish content without needing extensive technical skills or IT support. This has greatly reduced the time and resources required for content management, and ensured our digital content is always up-to-date and engaging.

As a CMS, Jahia is well suited for web production. I can be used as a hybrid platform between traditional and headless CMS. You can also use the jExperience version to add A/B testing and personalisation through a robust Customer Data Platform. The platform can also be integrated with Salesforce. For those who won't invest in infrastructure, you can use the Cloud version.

Jahia Dx's built-in analytics and reporting features helps us get the insights into website performance and content effectiveness.
Business Problems Addressed:It is difficult to manage content across multiple websites, leading to inconsistency and delays in content update.
It is difficult to get data insights, making it challenging to understand user behavior and website performance.
Scope of use case: It serves as a central digital experience platform to manage content, images, files and maintain consistency across multiple public sites managed by our organization.
  • Content management: It is very easy to update text, images, files and videos even for a non technical user.
  • Multi-site Management: It has a robust multi-site management capability, It helps in maintaining multiple websites with consistent branding.
  • Digital asset management: It is easier to store organize and retrieve images, videos and documents.
  • It has a great built-in analytics and reporting feature.
Cons
  • It would be great if we can get more comprehensive documentation and video tutorials for complex features in Jahia
  • Would love to have advances SEO tools, including automated metadata management and structured data markup to boost search engine visibility.
  • Advanced Form building functionality, to create more complex and interactive forms.
