We are using Jira Work Management to connect with the development team, business intelligence team, and internal support, for reporting bugs, improvements, questions, problems, configuration changes, and change requests. We are also using it to see the product roadmap that the development team has designed and what item is going to be fixed or what new item is going to be released with all the planned dates.
  • It provides issue tracking.
  • It makes collaboration with multiple teams and ticket assignment possible.
  • It provides product release and product roadmap tracking.
Cons
  • Dashboard creation is a bit difficult.
  • All options are not available for filtering.
It is well suited for project management for the development team and where collaboration with other departments can be done easily when wanting to connect for report issues and get follow-ups. Otherwise, we are using Asana for project management, timelines, and collaborating with the dedicated resources and the customers.

It keeps track of all our team's task and helps manage tasks of all teams across the company
  • Great filters to see tasks
  • Tags functionality
  • Simple UI/UX
Cons
  • The right side fields are at times difficult to save.
To manage all the task and it's assignees, JIRA helps solve a great deal of management problem for us.

We use Jira Work Management to organize each product pod's sprints as well as to organize product discovery. Each pod has a backlog of tickets that includes background, acceptance criteria, and deliverables so that we know what's happening, how it happened, and when. Using this system has really increased our productivity.
  • Managing product delivery tickets
  • Managing customer support tickets
  • Delegating tasks to team members
Cons
  • creating a ticket as a follow on of a ticket that's already complete
  • going back to review what happened in the previous sprint
  • sprint retros
Jira Work Management is a great tool for organizing your backlog, understanding who has been assigned which tasks, understanding which tasks are coming up soon, and which ones can wait until later. You can even make tickets appear on the backlog of multiple teams if there's more work to be done and handoffs to manage.

It is being used as a tool to keep track on all proyects and activities each individual is currently working on each department. It has helped us keeping all task better organized, well documented and properly categorized. Jira Core was and is a game changer for our company, as it allows to keep track, not only of all activities, but also on the time and effiency of each worker with their proyects.
  • Friendly UI
  • Has a knowledge base
  • Proper scalability for different uses and proyects
  • User friendly experience
Cons
  • Reporting is too complex to understand for an average user.
  • More information about managing different dashboards.
  • Easier way to create graphs.
Jira Work Management has been well suited to obtain complete data on how much time is taking for each task to be completed. A detailed journey of each proyect cicle by allowing us to understand the challenges and opportunites each worker was able to solve and achieve. A better understanding of how efficient or not is the current work flow and how to improve it.

Powerful tool for complex project management.

We use Jira mainly for Work Management extensively in our organisation for task tracking, project management, and workflow automation across various teams. Cross-platform task management has been easy ever since we started using Jira. Our use case spans across departments like design, development, QA, and even non-technical teams for tracking operational tasks such as Sales team and Customer support team where they create tickets for feature request or enchantment request from the customer feedback which directly goes into our sprint.
  • Customisable Workflows.
  • Robust Reporting & Dashboard.
  • Real time collaboration.
Cons
  • Steeper learning curve.
  • Limited Automation Without Plugins.
  • Slight Performance Issues with Large Projects.
Jira Work Management suits projects involving multiple teams, such as product development. In our case, the design, development, and QA teams use Jira to track tasks from ideation to deployment. Custom workflows and real-time updates ensure that all teams are on the same page, and the ability to link related tasks helps manage dependencies effectively.
