Allows us to remotely assist our customer base, taking control of their PCs (with consent). Been invaluable to support the increase in home working; this includes customers working from home, and our service desk agents working from home. We have also made some use of the Rescue + Mobile concurrent product to troubleshoot customers' issues with mobile devices.

We use GoTo Connect for our remote workforce along with on-premises users who would rather use their computers instead of a physical phone. There are also a number of users who use the app on their mobile devices to stay in contact with clients and co-workers. It is assisting us in keeping lines of communication open and aids in team collaboration.

Clients call different departments for various issues/sales and support. Transferring calls, 3 way calls and meeting calls all play a part in our daily usage. Call quality and dependability play a crucial role as well for our departments and is heavily relied on. However, call quality and connectivity have been a problem.

We have a few remote workers that work on different days that answer phone calls for our office, and the phone mapping, as well as scheduling options, make it so easy to set things up and forget about it! We also had an easy time setting up a phone tree that helped direct callers to the correct person for their specific needs within our office.

GoTo Connect is the phone system we use for all employees here at our company. We have phone sets throughout the office and some of our remote employees have phone sets at their home offices as well. We also have the option of using the app on the smartphone which works quite well. This was useful during the start of the pandemic when our office was closed. We also receive voicemails to email via mp3 which is an improvement over our last phone system which was just an analog handset connected to a landline.

Excellent for remote working. Excellent for merging siloed phone systems within one company or between departments. Easy to program extensions for all employees and name them via computer app instead of setting up everything via the web portal or physical handset only. Less appropriate for users who require extremely low latency point-to-point analog telephone communications instead of VoIP.

We use GoTo Connect (GTC) for communication with our customers. During covid and lockdown rules, we had to work from home. GTC helped us be in touch with our valuable customers as we could make and receive calls through GTC app. We pretty much depended on GTC and use it every day!

The cost of Voice and Collaboration tools was getting out of control. We wanted a singular phone, virtual meeting, chat provider which would be highly robust and cost effective. GoToConnect met our needs at a very advantageous price point versus our other providers. Management is straightforward and the products perform very well.

Our company did use it at one point to reach out to our customers to support them and their needs/issues. This would be for outbound and inbound calls as well as utilizing text messaging. This platform helped our field services department as well as our technical department. Outside of these departments, I am not sure if the service was utilized elsewhere.

We are using GoTo Connect for a UK based landline / VoIP phone service, as well as the virtual meeting functions. Works perfectly for us, as we are physically based in Brazil right now with lots of business though in the UK and other parts of the world.
GoTo Connect allows us easy access from anywhere to the UK number, and seamless integration with Outlook etc.

Go To Connect was one of many meeting services we used in my client services role. We would use Microsoft terms internally but we found the best webinar software for our needs was GoTo Connect. It was easy to use, intuitive and solved a problem it took a while for our team to solve. We loved the recording feature that we could send our recorded webinars out to after the meeting. We could host ample users in our meetings and there were great presenter features that allowed us to mute all users, engage during the call and more. We loved this piece of software and I was always happy with the services it provided.

  • Sometimes there were technical errors with connectivity and users were unable to connect and join but they've worked out many of those kinks
GoTo Meeting was not suitable for Internal meetings where you just needed a quick connect with your team.

The reason we bought GoTo Meeting in the first place as it was the best tool for hosting webinars with our clients. Each Account Manager had 60 accounts and instead of hosting 60 induvial meetings, we would host webinars and office hours with GoTo meet so we could share the recordings and it has great presenter mode.

We use Goto Connect to keep all departments and stores connected with an integrated phone system. It makes it easy to seamlessly transfer customers from customer service to any of our 6 retail locations as well as inter departmental calls. We also use the voice prompts to direct customers to the right place.

We use Jive Hosted VoIP across the entire company. It solves so many problems. We now have unification communication across our entire platform. It's especially helpful that it is integrated with our PSA. It is a good thing for us to be seamless.

Previously, I had an aging Cisco SIP solution. There were times when I had hardware failures. My users were without service until the repair part(s) arrived the next day. With GoTo Connect, I have zero issues with hardware. The GoTo Connect team takes care of hard repairs and upgrades and I enjoy a solid cloud-based phone system. When I have users traveling, the mobile app allows the remote users to make and receive calls just like they were in the office. Meetings are a breeze as well. I have dedicated numbers for conference calling.

Small organization that normally rely on mobile phones probably would be better off avoiding GoTo Connect. Organizations with large numbers of employees might find a solution that is more budget friendly.

Soft Phone. We were able to move our operations remotely due to the softphone capabilities and ability to do warm transfers. We are also able to use GoTo Meeting for meetings. However, the only downside to the meeting is that participant has to download the app on their side to use it. It should give an online option so participant should not have to download anything.

We use the phone call and messaging function internally and externally. I currently use it when clients request a phone consultation, as well as when anyone needs to send a same day/ASAP message internally about an appointment. It's wonderful in theory because we can do everything in one spot, it has our contacts easily available, and I can use it both on my computer and phone.

I think if the 'bugs' were fixed, it's well suited in most company settings, particularly larger companies, where internal and external communications are a large portion of what they do. Such as ours. Again if improvements are made, I would recommend it to any company with remote workers, or multiple physical locations For very small companies with little remote work, I don't see it being as valuable. For example, where meeting in person, phone calls, e-mails suffice.

VOIP communication. Available on all of our devices no matter where we may be. Excellent service, highly recommended. GoTo purchased the company we were using previously... and this is much better. The quality of calls is outstanding, regardless of cellular or wireless connection. Customer service solves any infrequent issue promptly and satisfactorily. Best service we've had in the past 10 years.

My office uses GoTo Communications/JIVE for our phone systems and fax. Though, the product is has kept pace with my agency, the billing, documentation, and customer service has been a horrible experience. I was told by the previous agency owner to keep them and have been regretting it ever since. I have had to fill out half a dozen documents to transfer everything over. Their process and departments keep screwing up the paperwork. I've had to transfer everything including name of business, phone lines, fax line, caller ID change, timing of calls, etc. all by using separate documents, people and departments. And now I just found out that I've not only been charged for every individual change, but have even been double charged for a phone line change. I was offered way better rates for more lines with other companies, but I decided to stay with GoTo, not knowing how horrific this experience would be. Do yourself a favor, and never sign with this company. They've given me nothing but headaches every time I've tried to contact them. Absolutely the worst company I've ever worked alongside!

GoTo is a standard VOIP phone service. They will set you up then hope you never need anything from them, because it won't ever be resolved promptly or to your liking. And if you do need something, you will have to wait a long time and get charged for any assistance.

I only received calls from people stating they were calling other businesses. The implementation process was terrible as no one reached out to me. When I tried to disconnect service there is no way to reach them or disconnect the service. It was a nightmare.

We use GoTo Connect for our phone and fax needs. GoTo allows us to provide our users with a scalable VOIP phone system without having to manage and maintain a PBX and the subsequent hardware on-premise.
  • GoTo has a very good visual dial plan management. Works like flow charts. Easy to use and highly customizable.
  • Ring Groups are easy to configure and set up in GoTo for active departments like Shipping where people are almost never at their desks.
  • Adding new hardware is super simple. Really like that we can purchase hardware from other vendors like Amazon and then add it to our PBX easily.
  • The GoTo Mobile app has not been the best experience, particularly with wifi-only smartphone usage. Our users really want this feature to work but it's just not there yet. Our users tend to complain of calls not ringing through, dropped calls, call interference and just poor overall performance.
  • I am less than thrilled with the GoTo Support when we have issues. It can be very difficult to get your issues routed to the correct area unless you really push. I feel like this prevents GoTo from handling tickets in a timely manner. I've also had tickets never get handled that I've put in online until I call to follow up and find out why.
  • While overall, the PBX experience is okay for admin functions, I'd like to see some things like a link on a user's PBX extension to take me directly to usage reports for that user. I'd like to be able to easily run reports tracking device usage so I can see what devices are being highly utilized in our system and what are not. Making it easier to determine where areas need more phones and others don't. I'd like to see more PBX and system reports in general so we can really drill down into our usage and utilization.
I feel that GoTo would work well for a call center setting where you need highly customized dial plans and reports on call volume and times. I feel that GoTo would not be a good fit for a very small company, better to stick with your local Telco provider there if they offer PBX services or do on-prem.

GoTo Connect is like a VoIP telephony portal for conferencing and video conferencing, instant messaging, recording, PBX and much more. The platform works very well for me, thanks to its flexibility, ease of use and multiple options it helps me to keep in touch remotely with my students easily without much effort.We are currently working on web development and other collaborations, best of all GoTo Connect has good video/audio quality and is very easy for me and my students to use.

Our entire company is working remote now and we had to have some way to still have office phone numbers and phones to access while working from home. These enable phones right on your computer, so it was easy for all employees to have access to one on their local desktop.

GoTo Connect is the phone system for both offices where I work. This is the main way we connect with clients.
  • Very good customer service
  • Excellent quality sound on the phones
  • Good instructions in help center for self guided service
  • The interface online is not always intuitive and it can be difficult to find information.
  • A filter for spam faxes would be excellent. Far too many junk faxes come through.
  • Please make sure all customer service reps are aware of the same information. The service is great, but I had an experience when I had full access to speak with customer service about our account, but the rep did not seem to know that, and I had to call and speak to a second rep.
The phone service absolutely meets our needs in the office and remotely, at a cost that works well for small businesses. We have had no problem with service outages at all. The app is very convenient for when we have to work remotely, as we are still able to get calls and make calls that show as being from our offices.

Go to Connect is quite perfect when you have to set up a medium big meeting with several connections where each participant should share his screen. it's very easy to pass the admin role.

We started with Jive, and as it transitioned to GoTo Connect, then GoTo Connect we stuck with it. We use this primarily as our main phone system. All incoming calls are routed through the virtual assistant and then into the phone map. I currently have 2 locations where we use the physical desk phones and then multiple users using the phone app. We have 7 physical phones currently. When we started with Jive, we had 2 divisions within the company. A landscape division and a power washing division. We have since sold off the power washing to focus on the landscaping. We have a small office so being able to clearly and easily route the calls with the virtual assistant is a huge plus. During COVID it was easy to have our office staff work remotely as the VOIP phones are easily plugged into any internet source.

I like the flexibility and not having to call someone to change the system. It's easily managed by yourself. You can add or remove options in the virtual assistant and easily direct calls however you want. It's nice to be able to be flexible if employees have to work remotely, the phone can go home with them and is easily connected. Or just running the phone off the desktop app or mobile app. Voicemails are emailed to you and the same with virtual fax, it's all done via email and is super convenient. If you're looking for a basic 1 line system, this is probably not the right fit, there are cheaper and easier options... We started with OOMA but outgrew it. I just like the fact you can grow or shrink the platform to whatever you need.
