(1-25 of 35)Best in class in all categories - and only getting better
- Transparency - hiring managers and recruiters can see the full activity/status/communication with a candidate.
- Candidate management - the workflow helps manage your pipeline, especially with a high number of applications.
- Careers site - our site is beautiful and effective.
- Customization - workflows, forms, communications, etc. all customizable.
- Onboarding suite - can build custom forms (and use out of the box forms, too) to have new hires complete required paperwork.
- Onboarding - many fields can transfer automatically from the hiring side to the onboarding side of the system, but not all of them.
- ATS - the structure of candidate applications (one candidate profile, but each application for each job has it's own record/info) can cause some minor inconveniences, but Jobvite has mitigated them.
Jobvite works for large-scale, multi-department recruitment
- Applicant tracking.
- Sharing candidate details - The ability to share candidate information across teams and hiring managers is a huge plus.
- Candidate screening / video interviewing is a big time saver.
- Campaigns and integrations into social media could be better.
I love my ATS
- Workflow- I love that you can immediately see where in the process a candidate is.
- Dashboard- The customization and overall feel of the site.
- Feed- The fact that you can see the feed from the candidates other applications is a plus.
- Primarily the analytics they have worked on this recently but it does take some deep diving to really understand how to put it to use.
- Knowledge Base- Easier search criteria.
- Back Button- For some reason my browser does not like when I want to go back, a lot of time I just start over.
Solid ATS
- Standard ATS module is efficient and fairly customizable.
- It's fairly easy to add new custom fields, although those less familiar with the system should reach out to support to confirm they're setting up fields in the correct way to ensure there are no "trickle down" effects.
- Our assigned Customer Success Manager is fantastic and a great partner to work with on issues and new initiatives.
- Their knowledge base is pretty extensive, and I like that I can submit product feedback/suggestions and upvote any suggestions already created.
- Reporting is awful. They updated their reporting structure and it is *not* the most efficient. We've always had issues with Jobvite reporting, and while some things have improved, others got worse.
- We lost the ability to run certain fields, or even entire reports, due to Jobvite no longer letting us pull data that's obviously available in the system. I don't know why we can't pull data *we gather* in our system, and I haven't been able to get a solid answer on it other than "we just can't do that anymore."
- They've also removed the ability to share a report with a single user, which is a hindrance when we have confidential or restricted information we need to share. I don't want to set up individual user roles, set up a reporting folder, and have to move a report over to that folder, especially if it's a report they previously had access to prior to moving over to the new reporting system.
- Jobvite support is really hit or miss. Some support employees are extremely helpful, actually listen to the issue, and provide assistance accordingly. Others seem to skip over questions and facts entirely, answer from a predefined script, and "solve" an issue that wasn't even being asked.
- There are also often *very* long wait times for chat support (I'm talking an average 30-45 minutes waiting to ask a simple question - at that point, why even have the feature?).
- I'd like to see better integration and setup abilities between Onboarding and other systems. It's difficult to make necessary changes or updates without "breaking" something or having to use paid Jobvite services.
Couldn't be happier!
- Updates to the system based on user needs.
- Customer support.
- Data available for reporting.
- Would like video interview to automatically move to completed status.
Talent Acquisition Game Changer!
- Requesting candidate availability for scheduling
- Approval processes
- Candidate workflow
- Incorporating real-time video interview links (like RingCentral) into the scheduling without cutting and pasting
- Ability to send ad hoc candidate forms
- Ability to set permissions based on data components (like locations or department)
- Ability to have different internal vs external application processes/forms (also, the ability to forward application forms to candidates that come in through other means--like referred by a friend, added candidate, etc.)
- Ability to customize the in-app apply form from within Jobvite (vs the career site apply page)
Jobvite is a life changer!
- Workflow--super easy to set up and maintain.
- Candidate experience--it is a smooth, professional experience for candidates. The text feature makes it feel personal.
- Onboarding experience--use of tasks makes the onboarding experience easy to administer, and easy for new hires.
- Custom fields--custom fields do not follow the candidate from hire to onboarding. This is problematic because we then have to recreate on the onboarding side to then import into our HRIS.
- Onboarding picklists are time-consuming to populate. We have to enter options one at a time, rather than being able to do an import. Also, field mapping on Hire is a lot easier than having to set up tags on option sets in onboarding.
Recruiting made easy!
- A lot of functionality
- Ease of use
- Great reporting capability
- More flexibility on certain parts of the recruiting workflow.
- More options for custom templates and being able to share templates
Jobvite is excellent!
- Extremely user friendly!
- Excellent customer support!
- Everyone can get access to the information they need, meaning that hiring managers do not need to depend on the recruiter.
- Helps provide a great candidate experience!
- I wish the reporting was a little more robust in the area of canned reports.
Jobvite Offers a Modern Tool for Talent Acquisition
- Jobvite provides an excellent candidate experience, and we're able to minimize the time to apply and conduct all interactions through the application.
- The Engage CRM has robust capabilities around constructing and executing marketing campaigns for events such as college career fairs.
- The On-Boarding module is efficient and effective at providing an excellent new hire on-boarding experience. New hires are able to complete all but a handful of tasks prior to their first day on the job, improving time-to-productivity. Internal surveys have demonstrated a high degree of employee satisfaction with the process.
- The reporting functionality is not as robust as we would like to see. While improvements are underway, it is not as intuitive for building reports as desired.
- The implementation methodology for new customers left room for improvement. Not having an assigned resource who was accountable for the end-to-end implementation resulted in some delays in launching that could have been avoided.
Jobvite Improved Our Candidate Experience
- Email campaigns
- Candidate status
- Web application process
- Downtime
- Grouping on candidates.
- Linkage between engage and hiring portions of the product.
Jobvite is in a class of its own
- Customization
- Social Friendly
- Customer Support
- Continuous Improvement
- Some settings are "one for all" across different departments/categories
- Some training needed for end users (hiring managers)
- Onboard has a "mass export", but you can't customize what is included in that export
Great tool!
- Keep track of applicants.
- Entering notes in the system based on specific interviews.
- Able to auto-share open positions through social media platforms to encourage applicants.
- I know there were some difficulties in the back-end/HR side of things, but I'm not familiar with them.
Cost Effective and Reasonably Feature-rich
- Post jobs
- Collect incoming resumes
- Collect compliance information
- Collect initial screening information
- Distribute resumes to job boards
- Integrate with LinkedIn
- Manage candidates associated with requisitions
- Book interviews
- Directly message candidates
- Track a candidate's history with our organization
- Book and manage interviews
The quality of support is excellent.
- Sharing jobs on job boards and social media.
- Intuitive use and administration.
- Collaborate with recruiting colleagues on candidate statuses, moving candidates through the process.
- User access control - The ability to restrict certain recruiters to access requisitions and candidates associated with their office, country, or region.
- Is application-centric vs candidate-centric. If I search for John Smith, it looks like there at 10 John smiths in results, whereas in reality there is one who has applied to 10 jobs.
- Ability to integrate with multiple instances of Office365 for calendar/interview booking reasons.
- Don't need to segment access to information on the basis of office, country, or region. If you need user access control on this basis, it will probably not meet your needs
- Want a cost-effective, mid-market product that lacks in certain areas of global enterprise-type features.
Jobvite is the best rated ATS for a reason
- Ability to leverage the platform to connect all of your users and their social networks to promote your jobs.
- Very easy to use interface for users, leaders, and applicants.
- Greatly improves the candidate experience.
- Integration with LinkedIn is a game-changer.
- Reporting could be a bit more robust, especially with custom reports, but they are working on that now with some improvements coming out soon.
- More customization with security for roles would be great. Restrict or open up what managers can or cannot see etc.
- Doing more to ensure there are no duplicate entries, meaning, the same people with different profiles in the system.
Jobvite to the rescue!
- The integration of the whole process with HR was excellent.
- Employee referrals.
- Very user-friendly.
- Very resourceful tool, but we'd love to see integration with Outlook.
Jobvite
- Flexibility
- Social Networking
- User Experience
- More Integration with HRIS
- Managing Security
- Importing/Exporting Users
Jobvite, It's Okay....
- Great for mobile access.
- Great for social media.
- Great for scheduling interviews.
- Data analysis and reporting.
- Searching candidates.
- Customer service.
- Would be great if we had a dedicated personal representative to contact.
- Managers and employees who use it have trouble with the system.
- It doesn't work with certain versions of Internet Explorer which our company uses.
Jobvite does the job!
- Reporting tools. You can create customized reports in this ATS from candidates in your current pipelines in certain requisitions to offer declines over a past year.
- Scheduling Tool. Jobvite integrates Google Calendar which makes it easy to schedule interviews in Jobvite itself.
- Social Recruiting. You can easily post positions out to your LinkedIn/Facebook/Twitter network.
- Tech support via chat. There are some instances when it takes awhile for a representative to help out via chat.
- When modifying a interview schedule, I wish the tool would automatically update the schedule when I make a change to one person on the list.
Jobvite - Reviewed by a Recruiter
- User Interface provides an ease of use
- Information is organized and easy to find and navigate
- The newest version requires less "clicks" and performs better than the previous version
- Better search capability
- Social recruiting is one of Jobvite's strengths. We are able to manually or automatically broadcast jobs on social media, like Twitter, Facebook, and Linkedin. Our employees are also able to do the same, and we love the ability to engage with applicants in a variety of mediums.
- The communication tools in Jobvite are fantastic. They use coding to allow responses from candidates to be automatically captured in the file, so we retain all email communication in one place for reference. We have the ability to send emails to the candidate directly (including customizable templates), and also to make notes in the file that can automatically be emailed to various constituents.
- I love the tabbed format that allows us to see relevant information for candidates without being overwhelmed by data. The printing and viewing functions are great, and allow us to effectively see the candidate's original documents as well as text versions.
- There is a tab to allows you to see the history of all views and actions taken by people who have access to the file, so it's easy to identify and actor if a mistake is made, or to check the original intention of the person who made the change in the file. This allows us to give more ownership to Hiring Managers, as we can check their work.
- Jobvite can be a bit glitchy in different web browsers. We have a more detailed online application that we require applicants to complete before an in-person interview, and 10-20% of our applicants have challenges with completing it and need help. There are challenges with firefox and safari, so we usually recommend people use IE or Chrome. There is a registration process candidates need to complete by clicking and email and setting up a password after submitting their resume in order to access the site in the future, and many people miss completing this, which causes frustration in the future.
- The system has challenges with multiple browser tabs being open at once, and occasionally gives error messages when something is submitted due to conflicts.
Jobvite, a good recruiting, marketing tool
- It is very user friendly.
- Everyone in the organization can help source for candidates from their networks so it is not just the recruiters, HR and managers sourcing the candidates
- Once a person sends a jobvite to their LinkedIn network, email contacts etc. it has the capabilities to keep track of who initially referred the job.
- The interview scheduling capability where it links to Microsoft Outlook so you can see the availability of the interviews still does not work properly.
- Jobvite does not support older version of Internet Explorer which is an issue with mid size organizations who cannot move to new versions immediately
- Need to be able to customize the workflows more that currently available. The workflows work for us but could be better
great tool for growing tech company
- It keeps applicants from submission through to hire (or rejection) very organized! You can add internal notes, screening questions and track all communications for each candidate.
- It promotes employee referrals and makes it easy for employees to reach their social networks. The majority of our employees automatically publish to their LinkedIn accounts on a regular basis with our open roles, therefore increasing the number of applicants we have (plus the quality is higher),
- There are several pre-made reports to easily grab statistics on job performance or information about hires without having to do a ton of analysis (which can be time consuming for a 1 person team.)
- One annoyance is that our company profile info (that is displayed on our careers page) can be updated in Jobvite, but then I have to submit a request to have it reflected on our careers page.
Jobvite is where it is at when it comes to ATS that are modern, elegant and easy to use.
- Infiltrates networks to find the best candidates within an employee's network.
- Great sourcing tool.
- Fantastic interface.
- Ease of use for non-technical staff.
- I have no suggestions for improvements.
- The product worked as advertised.
- They also have great software support.
- Social media recruiting. Their publisher app allows employees to very easily set up their social media pages once to automatically post jobs to their feed and they never have to update it again. It makes it easy for our company to get applications from employees and our employees receive a nice referral bonus to boot. The only problem is getting the employees to set it up to begin with.
- Their scheduling system is by far the best I've ever seen. The scheduling we do is very complex. We have 2 recruiting coordinators for a 1200 person company. We hire anywhere from 100-150 sales people a month and about 100 product/tech people a year. Our scheduling requires coordinating between several c-level, senior level executives with very limited availability. Some of our interviews take 6 hours onsite and must be scheduled in a specific order. Jobvite's scheduling tool integrates with Outlook and allows us to view availability and book conference rooms right from their platform.
- Jobvite allows you to track email communication to candidates. The way they do this is to have all communication go through their email server. The pro to having it setup this way is that they can track all communication with no additional work from the client. The negative to this is that there is a LOT of room for messages to get lost, end up in peoples' spam folders, or for emails to never get to the recipient. They could be lost for several reasons but because Jobvite shows that the message was sent on their end, there is very little they can do to help you resolve the issue.
- Very limited in customization. While Jobvite does have a lot of great features, there is not one system in the world that will work for everyone. So it's important to be able to openly integrate with other vendors that do specialize in the areas that they are not the best in and to be able to customize certain things like dashboards to fit to each individual company. I have tried to work with several vendors over the 5 years that I have used Jobvite and the one common theme I hear from those vendors is that they integrate with almost every major ATS out there except for Jobvite because Jobvite is difficult to work with. It would also be great to be able to customize our dashboards so different user roles can see only the things they need to see at a glace when logged in. Jobvite only has one dashboard for all users.
- Reporting is lacking. There is a limit to the fields Jobvite reports on. They have a contacts tab to keep track of your pipeline of passive candidates and there is no functionality to report on any activity tied to those contacts. It's also difficult to report on simple things.
- Will I have a dedicated account manager?
