Jobvite is a full recruiting platform. It provides features across the recruiting funnel - from sourcing and managing candidates via CRM and managing workflows to communicating with hiring managers and reporting through custom dashboards and reports.
Reviewers rate Duplicate Candidate Prevention highest, with a score of 9.1.
The most common users of Jobvite are from Mid-sized Companies (51-1,000 employees) and the Computer Software industry.
Companies can't remove reviews or game the system. Here's why
You can make adjustments to your process using their field mapping updates. It does take some training to do this.
We do not have to involve our corporate IT department in anything. We have a lot of navigation options through Jobvite and great learning resources to help us maximize our output and return on investment. The learning community search feature is especially helpful in acquiring new skills within the platform.
It definitely was helpful to become independent from the IT team. Unfortunately, our IT team is lacking in some aspects especially support and timeliness. So with the ability to cut them out, we were able to streamline our process and move much more quickly and were able to become more efficient.
We have customized workflows based on regions. Having admin access has made it extremely easy to navigate and find what I'm looking to do.
The main reason we like the Jobvite tools is to avoid IT intervention. The SaaS solution is a great way to separate our TA data from the highly regulated Healthcare world. It makes it easy to set up and manage without the intervention and slow downs typically injected by other divisions of our org structures. Security is high.
Very beneficial, as it saves lots of time; this is best we have had so far.
The recruiters are able to independently work using Jobvite without much support, which allows them to work on off hours and be much more productive. It would be nice if they were [able] to add reqs to agencies; that is one pain point.
It is not easy to customize the platform itself. I have found that a lot of our workflows are cut and paste. This means that we sort of do one part of it on Jobvite and one part of it over email or Google docs. It’s really not ideal and something I wish that would be improved for the system.
It’s been great! I love being able to manage everything on my own without having to wait on someone from Jobvite to update it for me. It was a lot to set up originally, but it was well worth it!
We have benefited from being able to update our approval regions, which has been helpful when we have to change them temporarily at the drop of a hat. Other abilities to manage and customize without IT support have also left us feeling empowered to take work into our own hands and not feel the need to wait for a longer period of time to come to a solution, especially in recent months when the quality of support service via Jobvite's IT team seems to have declined a bit.
It has allowed us to make changes in real time, and not wait for another team to respond to our requests.
I have not needed much help from IT.
I never need IT assistance in this program. The site functions with minimal blips and when needing to customize something for my workflow, email, users, postings, or socials learning to do so is super easy. The material available on these topics is easy to understand and chat support is easy to access. Huge benefit to being web based.
Although I feel Jobvite is pretty easy to update and customize, it does still require more in-depth knowledge of the system than our Talent Team has time to commit to learning. This makes it necessary to have our own main admin committed to keeping Jobvite updated on behalf of our Talent Team. I would argue that Jobvite is easy for talent acquisition specialists to *use* rather than to manage and customize.
We absolutely manage the system on the Human Resources side of the house with extremely minimal work from our IT team. We engage our IT team when it comes to integration with our internal careers site (since we don't use Jobvite's customized career site) and Single Sign On. Other than that - the system is exclusively our responsibility and it works great!
The implementation and training is good enough that you feel confident making changes yourself. I rarely need to reach out to IT if I need to accomplish something. I can create or edit job description templates by uploading a CSV in HTML format all by myself. I didn't even know what that meant before becoming a Jobvite customer. They also have a Learning Management System available if you want to watch videos or read articles about how to do something, new user guides are also available. They give you tools to be self-sufficient. But are, of course, always there if you need help.
There isn't anything in Jobvite that cannot be handled by the user or admin. As a hands-on person, this was something that I really appreciated from the integration stage with Jobvite. It is also very intuitive software. This has made it extremely simple for me to bring in and train other super users.
The last thing you want with an ATS is a cumbersome, non-intuitive piece of software that salespeople cannot navigate. After all, recruiters are salespeople and many of them loathe paperwork. An ATS should be easy to use, streamlined and look good. Jobvite offers a simple, quick and attractive candidate experience in a tight job market.
We have very rarely had to go to IT for support with Jobvite. The only times that our IT team has gotten involved was when we had to setup SSO (single sign on) and they needed our assistance with Jobvite to get this setup. Jobvite is a cloud offering so all things are really managed by them and not our IT team.
We rarely use IT for support of Jobvite, and when we do it is primarily related to updating of the data we feed to Jobvite.
For any changes to our workflows, we have had to involve Jobvite to assist. We have not been able to change the workflows on our own. It's too complicated.
We have been able to customize offer letters and workflows without IT support.
Other than the initial support we had from IT to ensure our careers page would pull open roles from Jobvite, and getting our Outlook calendars synced with Jobvite, we have not needed to involve our IT support team in any daily functions for which we rely on Jobvite, which makes our job much easier.
This has been very helpful. We do have to engage our HRIS team more than usual but I think that is because of the integration with Workday.
Jobvite has allowed for users with administrator access to make changes in real-time as needed, allowing for flexibility and adaptability without a long "change control" process. We have multiple recruiting teams using the platform and are able to customize each for each one, including setting up forms or campaigns the same day for special circumstances.
