I support Cisco ACI the Juniper Contrail competence. I had the good fortune to put in place in the LAB when working at IBM Juniper Contrail. The platform is the same as ACI contains Spine and leaf and the graphical interface is much easier than the competition. It seems to be a very robust solution and cheaper than Cisco. Contrail designs secure, automates, and executes the complete service lifecycle on NFX, EX, SRX, and MX 5G series network services platforms. It integrates and links with Mist Cloud for seamless Wi-Fi management.

We are using Juniper Contrail Network for our NFV Cloud providing Virtual networking to NFV workloads. Contrail provides overlay networking services with SRIOV and DPDK.

Contrail is best [suitable] for Service Provider having [multiple outlay protocol] support. Both Contrail and NSX fulfill all requirements for DC Networking, NFV Cloud, and Private Cloud Networking requirements. Cisco ACI is more relevant towards Enterprises.
