I use Kajabi for my courses and membership. It is used for landing pages and to deliver my content.
Pros
  • Easy to use, I didn't have any problems building my courses/membership on there.
  • I love that it is an all in on solution.
  • Their instructional videos are straightforward and easy to follow
Cons
  • There is no way to schedule the release of my content based on date. It is frustrating to have to log in to publish a post that could be scheduled.
  • The ability to charge sales tax based on location would be very helpful.
Likelihood to Recommend
Kajabi made selling my course very easy because I didn't have to learn a ton of different software and figure out how to connect them together. I was able to build the whole course, landing page, checkout page and connect to my email provider in a short amount of time.

We use Kajabi in our company to host our online courses, workshops, and trainings. Kajabi solves the problem of where to host these products, especially when it comes to video. We have hundreds of clients who have purchased our products and they need to have a place to view our products on an unlimited basis.
Pros
  • It hosts online courses really well
  • It integrates well with other softwares
  • It is easy to customize
Cons
  • If you don't use Kajabi's email system, there is a lag from when people purchase and when they receive their post-purchase email.
  • The app is clunky and doesn't work well when trying to view online products from it.
  • Setting up your courses is not intuitive, there is learning curve to getting your products set up on the platform.
Likelihood to Recommend
Kajabi works well for the person who wants to create courses and needs a specific place to host your course. It's also great for people who want an all-in-one tool. Kajabi hosts courses very well (that's what it originally started as - a platform to host online courses) but it's ok at other things such as email marketing and a shopping cart.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope
We use Kajabi to organize our courses for our clients. We used it both for it's marketing applications as well as for it's backend product features. Originally, it was just a way to deliver course materials to clients. But as we've grown, we now also integrate the landing pages and will also likely build our website on it.
Pros
  • Allows you to drip out course content to students
  • Has a handy landing page feature
  • Our Pro plan gives us the ability to create up to 20 courses
Cons
  • The email functionality is still a bit clunky.
  • The landing page builder can be a bit tedious to use
  • There's limitations on font choices

Kajabi is the best in the business for making it super easy to build out full on courses and coaching programs. The aesthetic is really easy to use, it has all the right features and isn't bloated. Some other course software I've used tried to do too much. The reality is that most students are visiting Kajabi to watch the videos and grab the homework assignment. They're not using it as a task management system, and it's not designed to be that. Kajabi knows what it does best and sticks to it.

Kajabi is a powerful tool for helping us quickly build websites, as well as our email list. Often, we would need to pay for and use different services in order to accomplish this. Kajabi helps us streamline the stack of tools we utilize in our business. This can be a tremendous cost savings.

We needed to quickly build a website, shopping cart and email list for a product. With Kajabi, we were able to put this together in less than a week, and have it up and running to share with our customers. Normally, this would have taken a lot longer, and been a complicated task to set up.

We use Kajabi as our email marketing platform, and for opt-ins and sales. It provides an easy way to generate offers and coupons. We are also starting an Affiliate program, for which setup has been very easy. Kajabi handles all of our sales outside of some evergreen products in our custom app.
Pros
  • Email marketing segmentation and tagging
  • Customizing offers and coupons
  • Easy-to-use templates
Cons
  • Dynamic email setup so messages can be scheduled in advance (ie, if someone purchases a product between when the email is scheduled and when it goes out, being able to exclude them from a sales email).
  • Chat support is great, but sometimes not able to understand what I am asking, even if I explain it several different ways and with screenshots. Overall they are knowledgable but it's frustrating when that happens.
Likelihood to Recommend
We aren't using the course feature any longer as we moved to an app that is easier to use than Kajabi, but it worked really well for courses. The drip functionality was a good feature and easier to use than some platforms I've used in the past. Overall it's a really solid program and doesn't take long to learn the ins and outs.
