Kaspersky was solving the problem of antivirus protection, as well as malware and other endpoint protection strategies.
  • Deployment was easy through various RMM vendors.
  • Installs fast.
  • Rarely, if ever crashes.
  • Privacy concerns, as it related to their business being tied so close to the Russian government.
  • Concerns that software was acting as a listening agent for a foreign entity.
  • Too aggressive and at times, made it very difficult to get programs to passthrough that were authorized for use.
Given that the US Government has declared that they are not to be trusted, this was a deal breaker with all our customers. We had to pull the software.

It is used throughout our company. Kaspersky Endpoint Security is used for the protection of viruses and remote attacks with operation parallel to that of Firewall Watchguard. Excellent protection capability and fairly light for client CPU occupation. very convenient to be able to install the centralized version with on a Server: through the dashboard it is possible to check the status of each PC and get alerts on problems
  • Protects against viruses.
  • Protects from remote attacks.
  • Analysis of the status of multiple clients through the Server version.
  • Improved ability to identify cryptolockers.
  • Export of reports.
  • Excessive weight in terms of data space and memory in the server version.
It is perfectly usable on medium-large companies equipped with numerous client PCs.

It is used by the whole business only on workstations and laptops. It is used to protect workstations and laptops from security threats.
  • Detecting threats with accuracy.
  • Immediate scan of removable drives which often are notorious threat vectors.
  • Can scan for limited software vulnerabilities.
  • Stable.
  • Being able to throttle its scan performance centrally, it can suck up CPU for workstations and laptops during scheduled full scans.
  • Less CPU usage - It was removed from all our servers in favor of Microsoft System Center Endpoint Protection as all our virtual servers were literally squeezed of their CPU usage by the application.
  • Installation is two fold, agent and the endpoint protection software.
It is well suited for heuristic accuracy on detecting threats, immediate scans for removable devices, and has very good application control where you can set only approved software to run or totally ban USB storage devices and have an option to decide what to permit on USB, like banning storage USB devices and allowing USB keyboards.

Our company uses Kaspersky as our primary network security and firewall manager. It allows us to handle network transactions safely and efficiently.
  • As a user with Kaspersky installed, the program does a great job of staying out of the way of the end-user's activities. No pop-ups for updates, no annoying windows about security health. It's very considerate of user experience.
  • System scans and adjustments are completed in the background, allowing users to focus on their various tasks.
  • The program also scans any external hardware that connects to the PC, thus providing safety from potential threats on local hardware.
  • My experience with the program has always been positive; the UI is simple, the experience is very smooth.
Kaspersky is clearly well built for large company networks that need a comprehensive network security solution that runs all its actions in the background with limited-to-no end user interaction. I would highly recommend it.

We utilize Kaspersky Endpoint Security enterprise wide as the solution of choice for our ongoing threat protection solution. In our industry as well as throughout other organizations, the constant evolution of the cyber threat continues to present challenges that can have detrimental impact across the network. The dependency on this product is high and it has provided a solution defense with minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Kaspersky provides a robust solution suite that protects and prevents malicious threats from impacting our environment
  • Kaspersky has provided real-time alerts and a proactive defense posture
  • Kaspersky deployment and centralized management is solid
  • On occasion, we've run across false-positives due to signature updates
  • Kaspersky controls seem a bit clunky
  • Kaspersky reporting can be improved to provide flexibility to modify layout and output variables
Kaspersky Endpoint Security has provided a very solid solution to protect our overall business assets. Centralized server controls have provided efficiencies with deployment; configuration changes and managed scheduled scans round out a great product for scale. Kaspersky's reputation in the market to proactively manage signature updates for newly discovered threats has been consistent over the years.

We currently use Kaspersky Work Space antivirus on some of the work computers that do the same jobs daily (utilize in house programs only). Because of the recent upgrade to Windows 10 on many of the computers were employees have to do more surfing of the web with google and such, we have had to switch those computers off Kaspersky to McAfee Plus as Kaspersky was not detecting all malware coming through and had to deal with cleaning up more pcs that what we felt should be. Once we switched those couple computers to McAfree, we no longer had the problem.
  • Built in malware protection
  • Easy to install and use
  • Needs updating to be able to keep up with current versions such as Windows 10
It is best suited for small companies that have older operating versions, at least for Windows based OS. If you have a company where the computers are only utilized for in house applications and very little web surfing, Kaspersky Work Space Security would be appropriate.
