Motive (previously KeepTruckin) allows our dispatch to keep continuous eyes on our drivers. We are notified of their driving condition. The ease of use for mileage gathering and routes taken help our team use their time to focus on other areas of need.

I was having trouble recognizing a new driver. Motive support was quickly able to help and resolve my issue.

Ravensworth Logistics uses the ELD and forward facing camera devices. The devices combined with the web portal provide enhanced safety with the cameras, GPS tracking of the tractors, reports to use IFTA filing, and electronic logging of mileage and driver hours. We are also able to provide others with vehicle tracking by providing a temporary link.

Overall the product has been solid. This is the only product we have used for these services in our short existence. I would say it has been generally easy to figure things out.

Across the whole organization, Wifi needs to be increased without additional expenses. If the driver is uploading all documents, 1 GB is not enough per vehicle. With 20 drivers loading up all documents(fuel, BOL, scale tickets) we should have available min 1.5GB per driver. Do we need to monitor the driver's consumption? Yes, but also we need the included capacity to operate without having additional cost. There are now so many providers out there doing similar services cheaper, but Motive's operation and support are quite good, sometimes you need to call twice, but is ok. It would be important for Motive to add 2 more features: showing driver's RPM and trailer hand valve operation.

Some features in the previous version of Motive were easier so you need to get used to the changes. Explanation on the score should be trained better to get more precise info on how best to evaluate. Some drivers have high scores, while others are doing very well and have lower scores. I need more preciseness in that.

Ervin Hernandez is doing a very excellent job, and because of the way he is doing his job I felt convince doing the deal with him.

Our drivers are sent a link to the Motive app when their cab-mounted ELD fails and they are authorized to run paper logs. Motive ensures the hours are calculated correctly, drivers without experience on paper logs are compliant and logs are turned in regularly. Without Motive, malfunction recoveries would be extremely difficult and expose the motor carrier to potential significant CSA violations and liability.

It's an amazing product and once our contract with our current ELD provider expires, Motive will be on the shortlist to replace them.

not sure I would...I am pleased that my process ended with Motive...realible, quick and easy.

no..using free version of driver logs to replace paper logs during ELD malfunctions. Enables use to test drive the product while we wait out the contract from our current vendor.

Had difficulty accessing the admin portal to assist a driver. Called support and determined access is only availalbe on a desktop PC even if being viewed in desktop mode from a table or phone. Support was kind, understadning and patient to explain the process and walk me through some solutions. Much appreciated!
