Kendo UI is more or less used by our entire company, we do use this for good user experience and better UI performance.
  • Kendo Charting Tool for analytics viewing.
  • Kendo UI basic tools like combobox and dropdown.
  • Kendo UI for react.
  • Needs more styling support.
  • Better documentation.
  • A larger group of instant support team.
I feel it is great at showing statistical data to users for my application. I am using the Kendo Charts tool for that.

We are using it in our web-based product SUPERLOAD to develop web interface (using HTML5 controls) for different product pages which mostly includes many product features. Kendo UI gives us the flexibility and control to display that data in many ways with all the various components that it provides. Kendo UI is a great product to save developer time and deliver a business class product. Being able to quickly add/remove/customize features to meet users' wants/needs on items has helped free up the development team's time to focus more on advanced design, rather than focusing on the basics.
  • Easy front end implementation using the MVC controls in the views on the front end.
  • Simple to create MVC controllers on the backend which can easily provide a meaningful context of the incoming HTTP request.
  • Wide variety of tools available on the platform with good looking skins to choose from.
  • Documentation lacks details for a lot of widgets.
  • Some widgets are not too flexible.
  • Demos/examples usually are too simple and you don't have day-by-day usage examples.
I believe Kendo UI is perfect for scenarios where you need a lot of customization and flexibility. In our company, we are used to customizing some widgets and it's easy and quick to do it. I would not recommend it if JavaScript/JQuery knowledge lacks on your team.

It is being used by departments with different software products which is based on a variety of data gathering.
  • Tree View ID is impressive.
  • Different graphs and charts for different UI technologies are very good.
  • Support could be better.
  • Free licence for learning.
Responsive graphs and charts are very well implemented, and these are now widely required for showing data results in the business world.

One of the web applications that we develop has its controls developed using Kendo UI. Currently, it is used in two of the web applications in the department. Controls like drop-down list, text input, autocomplete, navigation, grid control, data sources, file upload, etc are being used there now. We like the tools also the support is great.
  • Well organized data.
  • Nothing to complain about so far. It has offered consistent improvement.
Kendo UI is well suited for any web application which needs high-quality responsive controls and advanced user interactions.

It is used in several departments in our organization. It allowed us to go from 2 codebases to one code base while providing support for multiple browsers. We use it every day in the product team that I work with. New team members have been able to quickly come up to speed.
  • Multiple UI components
  • Grids
  • No deficiencies for what we use it for.
It is great when you want to deliver a single code base to multiple web browser environments. It has allowed us to consolidate and reduce our codebase. It has been very reliable. We have had some issues when we moved to newer versions but nothing that wasn't quickly resolved.

It's being used in a few departments across the company. Its intention was to help facilitate the company by giving us components to use in Angular without us needing to create them ourselves. This allowed us to work more quickly and efficiently getting our software to the business.
  • Documentation
  • Component speed in large sets of data
It's useful for small apps but not for large lists of information.

We use Kendo as the backbone of our Angular based, client facing applications. Primarily, this consists of charts and grids, which as a data service are extensive throughout the application. Clients log in to see our data on a regular basis, and the tools have to serve a wide range of platforms and browsers, and be quick and efficient on all fronts. Kendo does a strong job on this front.
  • Grids
  • Charts
  • Angular 1.6+ support
  • Map interactivity - heat maps in particular
  • Speed is sometimes an issue
It has broad support of a variety of grids - including sorting, movable columns, paging, etc. and charts - almost anything you can imagine. Kendo is a market leader, which means you're likely to find developers who have already worked with it, which helps improve the support of the application. Report generation has also been a strong suit for this suite.

We use it in our web applications, both internal and externally facing. The grids enable us to sort data more effectively and access individual records more easily. The controls look more attractive to the user and most of them are more feature rich than standard controls.
  • The grid handles sorting and filtering very well.
  • The drop downs are very fast and attractive and easy to use and implement.
  • The numeric text boxes are easy to implement and very customizable, replacing what we would otherwise have to use javascript for.
  • CSS scripts order is a bit picky on the page.
  • I wish you had a control to do what jQuery ajax method does.
  • NumericTextBox should support zip codes and phone numbers.
I find it works great for producing grids. It is ideal for creating forms, especially where numeric text boxes and drop down logic is needed, and calendar controls. We use it in many of our forms. We also use it on pages where we have to display large amounts of data to the clients.

We are providing software services and we are using Kendo UI along with other SDK for development purposes. We are using the same for projects of different nature involving but not limited to creating dynamic user interfaces for administration portals, loan management applications and much more. Also, we are using the Telerik Reporting for dynamic reporting.
  • Consistent UI
  • Wide range of frequently used controls
  • Online demo and documentation
  • They need to improve their documentation a bit.
  • Need to add more controls like wizard control, etc.
  • Expensive license
Kendo UI is especially great when you want fast-paced development and to tackle most common of the features that are required in any web and/or desktop application. However, in case you want to go for more customized user controls and tailor-fit functionality, then Kendo UI may not be for you. Yet, using it will definitely add more stability.

Telerik offers a powerful suite of tools we're looking for. It's kind of tools that are taking user experience to the next level and if you get stuck somewhere, the support team will help you out.
  • Grid handles large data very easily.
  • Overall tool is very user friendly.
  • Charts display data that can easily readable.
  • Should have support for every technology.
  • Detailed information on each tool should be available easily.
Kendo is well suited if you are building large applications, otherwise its too heavy for a small scale.

We use Kendo UI in our Research and Development efforts. We deploy a business intelligence platform that we've built with Kendo UI. We render charts and diagrams using the framework provided by Kendo.
  • Easy-to-use APIs to be able to render the components we need.
  • Easy deployment and it fits our versioning model well.
  • N\A
Kendo brings lots of features that we can use in our software. It does very well with small components like DatePicker, and we are slowly moving more and more of our pages to work with Kendo. Charts that Kendo UI renders for us are visually pleasing. The way Kendo UI splits its components into standalone JavaScript modules suits our needs as we strive to reduce our deployment package size.

We have a web application whose controls are developed using Kendo UI. It's currently used within our department for a couple of web applications. We are using controls like data picker, drop-down list, grid control, text input, autocomplete, file upload, navigation, bars, data sources, reporting controls, etc. The controls are a mix of ASP.Net MVC and Javascript API.
  • Consistency in the API makes the use of the control easy.
  • It almost has all the controls you may need to develop your application
  • The user base is extensive so online help is easy.
  • We see some performance issue with few controls, especially with the grids.
Well suited when you have to dynamically control page generation by getting controls added based on user inputs. It's is well suited otherwise as well. The documentation for the Javascript API is more helpful compared to ASP.Net MVC so you may need some help initially to start with. So, if you mostly use client-side rendering, then it is easy to begin with.

We use Kendo UI for all new web developments using ASP.NET MVC. It has helped us a lot to expedite the front end development of our applications. It gives us greater versatility and improves user experience. The solutions we create depend on the company's business area, but in all areas they have had the opportunity to interact with an application that uses Kendo UI.

  • Customization of controls
  • Easy implementation
  • A lot of online support on the use of controls
  • Help expedite development times
  • In the case of Grids in edit mode with the pop-up screen, they should be allowed to customize it directly and not using a partial view.
  • We have had many problems with the dates but we believe that we need to dominate the issue of culture. If they could support us that part would make it easier.
In the case of the Call Center system in the organization of our clients' information and the agile interaction provided by the elegant and intuitive interface.

It is being used to streamline the application building process. Using the Kendo UI tools makes creating applications much faster and more reliable than trying to depend on some random third-party tools that we find on GitHub or GitLab. We could not imagine using any other tools for building our applications.
  • User guides.
  • UI components.
  • Easy set-up.
  • Minor bugs in the new technologies (like .Net Core).
  • Demo code sometimes is lacking.
If you want to have a strong toolbox or UI components then I highly recommend that you look into the Kendo UI tools. They are amazing for getting new sites up and running in little to no time at all. The user guides are a great way to get started on your success.

Kendo UI is being used in a project to replace an existing application of over 15 years that is used by the scientific community all over the world to identify and collect scientific data on plants.
  • Full-featured grid.
  • Ease of implementation.
  • No prior training needed to implement the product.
  • Documentation
Our users care about areas of the application that most business users overlook. We use most of the products in an advanced way and we found out the limitations of Angular and loading too many records into the grid. I was able to find a solution to the problem but could have saved me some time if it were documented. The Angular JS version seems to have features not implemented in the Angular 2+ version.

Kendo UI is well suited for any business, I can't see anyone who wouldn't benefit from it.

We use Kendo UI to make our life easier. Using the grids and controls to behave how we need them to out of the box.
  • Easy to use
  • zvery functional
  • Lack of quality documenation
  • Customization requires effort
Basic implementation where customization may not be needed. can work out of the box with minimal effort. When you are needing highly customized forms that need to handle data differently, it can get a bit confusing in the documentation.

We use Kendo UI as the main jQuery library to support our Enterprise Architecture tool, Insight-ea.com. We have been using Kendo-UI for the last 4 years and so far the results are great. Kendo supports the main application and we currently have around 100 active users around the world.
  • Very good browser compatibility. We test our solution on more than 50 different browsers/OS/Versions
  • Easy to configure and consistent
  • Great support and feedback abilities
  • Extremely well tested. We have, to-date, not found any bugs in Kendo-UI
  • Some of the graphing capabilities need updating. There are other tools on the market which much better support
  • The Gantt chart has limited support
Very well suited for web development across many browser platforms.

Kendo is being used to modernize our user interfaces, as well as to simplify our javascript ecosystem. It is being used across the entire organization in order to provide rich user interactions.
  • The grid is by far the best grid system on the market. It is easy to customize, and there are a lot of good examples to use for starter code.
  • The interactivity and UX of the controls are well-thought-out and consistent.
  • The product integrates well into other ecosystems, and the libraries for .NET are fantastic.
  • The product would benefit from a dockable container mechanism of some sort, similar to the docking containers built into Visual Studio.
Kendo UI is well suited to any web application that needs advanced user interactions and high-quality responsive controls. The only thing that we find lacking is the lack of support for common design programs such as Azure and Sketch. Some libraries for those tools would go a long way towards increasing adoption.

  • Available in multiple platforms (dotnet core, dotnet MVC, JQuery, React, Angular, etc).
  • Documentation and Examples, especially in the latest versions (React, dotnet core).

I am currently using Kendo UI in just one application used for an individual unit of our business. I wanted the ease of use for the dynamic grid functionality. I wanted something slick and easy for my users - filtering, sorting, etc., on the fly. This tool has been a great addition and we continue to renew year after year.

Kendo UI is well suited in applications that you want to be able to use and reuse the code for grids. I use it in an ASP.NET/C# application and I love the flexibility and ease of use. I am able to reuse it on different pages without reinventing every time.
