Brassring offers candidate relationship management functionality for tracking candidate data and personalizing communication with each candidate. The suite also provides ATS capabilities via BrassRing, which enables automation for routine recruiting processes.   • I believe it has a positive impact. The work gets segregated easily and speaking from operations point of view - its great to have everything in its place.
  • The interface of the software is easy and workflow is great.

  • One positive is the reporting feature and being able to pull OFCCP reports easily.
  • One negative is we failed internal audits because we were not integrated with our current HCM and there was not a smooth data flow all the way until the candidate was hired.

  • Creates a more positive experience for the candidate when having the profile, ease of applying to role, onboarding is automated.
  • We didn’t use it for succession planning, but it would be a great idea to link the two together.
  • Having our background check results inside BrassRing increased efficiency on the time to look up candidate details, seeing if we can meet the start date, it was all real time data.

  • Kenexa is a great tool for people who take the time to learn it and get used to it. It would be even better if some minor issues (mentioned) were cleaned up, and it would be easier and faster to learn and use.
  • Overall Kenexa was an efficient tool for our company. Again, some employees who did not use it on a daily basis, had to ask questions constantly because the system could be confusing.

  • The critical problems of a faulty application system, that likely deters many candidates from completing the application, and the difficulty of allowing new users to search old (or even current) positions, thus hindering any attempt at pipelining in particular and the recruitment process in general, without a doubt has a negative impact on our business of providing the best possible candidates to our client to meet their hiring needs. Whether that impact is larger enough to justify investing in an entirely different ATS would likely be determined by pricing/cost information that I am unfortunately not privy to.
