We use Khoros for Social media management in our organisation. The solution provides for our digital marketing team a common platform where they can schedule our planned social media campaigns and replan new campaigns based on deep analysis report given by this tool.
  • Files and folders management- Its simple to organize our posts in folders so that their relocation becomes easier.
  • Scheduling campaigns- The calendar that keep track of upcoming campaigns.
  • Security- The tool pays close attention to access management.
  • would like to see more social media applications.
  • user training support
The best it could be used for is running campaigns. Be it a product launch or be it any new event that you are hosting. If you need to quickly grab attention, then this might be your choice. Also the report given after the campaign is a good insight for improving your next campaign.

Moderating user comments and interactions on multiple social media platforms
  • Its labeling system is very robust - you can be quite specific without much hassle
  • Splitting posts into opened and unreviewed columns
  • Being able to see notes from all Khoros users
  • It's sometimes hard to get the native link to a user's post, especially if it's hidden
  • The button to hide posts will sometimes come up with an error multiple times (on the same post) before working
It is a good system if one or two users will be on the page at one time - if there are three or more users that need to moderate the page at the same time, there will be trouble working with the bookmark system

We use Khoros Marketing for just about everything social media related. We collect content through Khoros' Capture app then distribute it to various platforms using Khoros Marketing.
  • Schedules content
  • Organizes content internally
  • Posts content to social media platforms
  • When I go to add more content to a post in progress from the Khoros content center, it does not show me the content in order by date. Instead, it's scattered so I have to hunt for it through the folder that it's in.
  • Sometimes I get an email telling me that a post failed. I'm not sure why this happens. I then go back in and do the post the exact same and it goes through.
Overall, it is a great platform for organizing content if you have content coming in from multiple places. It is also just about as good as social media platforms will allow it to be in regard to scheduling and posting content.

I use it to plan content on social media and monitor the reactions on our posts.
  • Display of the platform channels (inbox)
  • Reactivity of the tool
  • Many platforms supported
  • Planification of the posts
  • In the inbox part when sorting comments we should have an option not to see the comment on the platform anymore (the box of the comment should disappear to go on another folder)
  • When clicking on the comment we should directly arrive on the platform
When we are several people to work on a same professional social media account, it's very convenient especially if we work with external people so we don't have to share access and passwords of the account.

We use Khoros both because it syncs up well with other tools we have (e.g., Tableau, etc.), because it supports all of the content we're trying to use, and because of the customizability of the analytics; we're able to generate the reports we need automatically and make our business decisions with them. Staff have been responsive to any issues we've seen arise, and we were very impressed with everyone we've worked with at the company.
  • Scheduling social video.
  • Analytics.
  • URL customization.
  • Support for Facebook reels.
  • The better visual display in the week view; currently, it truncates if there are too many posts.
  • Direct integration with link-in-bio tools for IG and Tiktok.
Khoros works well for a small team handling lots of content. Its automated reporting exports are extremely helpful and enable us to keep stakeholders abreast of the situation with minimal additional outlay. Conversely, it's somewhat more expensive than Sprout Social or Hootsuite, and we've been unable to afford as many seats as we'd like, which limits our ability to evangelize it to our wider organization. They don't yet have a timeline for Threads support (as of 12 July 2023), which is totally understandable, but their ability to get one online once it's possible will be pretty key for us and we imagine many other users.

Since we are responsible for posting on so many social channels, it helps us post when we are too busy to do it manually. Also when our clients want us to schedule posts on the weekend, it is nice to have the option to do it ahead of time, so I don't have to log into the social media apps on the weekends. However, it does not work for videos or any dynamic assets for me.
  • Scheduling static posts or images ahead of time
  • Finding comments users leave on our posts
  • Responding back to commenters
  • Scheduling/Posting video assets
  • Not having to open the app to answer some of the comments
  • It is very time consuming to make certain posts
  • Add link in bio to the platform
  • Let us add Facebook/Instagram at the same time
  • Add Threads
It is great for scheduling posts on the weekends, but it is not great for scheduling video posts. The secondary app used for this does not work for me - so I end up just wasting a lot of time trying to make it work. It would be nice to be able to see ALL comments in one space too.

We use Khoros as our social media dashboard to schedule, post, and monitor our social channels as well as do reporting on a continual basis.
  • Reporting and Analytics are extremely easy to pull
  • Listening and responding with multiple users
  • Scheduling and organizing your content with tags
  • Competitive listening / intelligence tool is not intuitive
  • Have trouble with pulling some paid campaigns into analytics
  • Can get different answers from the support team when trying to resolve issues
We find Khoros marketing to handle all of the day to day needs of our social media team and makes it easy for us to do reporting and analytics in a quick and easy way. It creates an omnichannel look at your social media efforts with capabilities to drill down to specific campaigns or channels.

My organization uses Khoros Marketing and Care for scheduling content and moderating on Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, and Facebook. This tool has been helpful in moderating our audience mentions and comments and allows our team to work together within in one platform to manage this content. Since adopting this technology, our team has been able to manage our social media platforms in a more efficient way. The main limitations of these tools are due to API controls which cause us to go into platforms natively when necessary.
  • Scheduling social media content
  • Moderating and responding to comments on social media
  • Organizing all social media engagement on behalf of a brand in one place
  • Making API limitations vs. Khoros limitations clear
  • Being able to comment on some content instead of just liking it
Khoros Marketing and Care is helpful for organizations looking for a tool to schedule and approve content in one platform. It is also helpful in most cases for moderating social media content in many places. It also allows for cross-team collaboration and communication to monitor ongoing conversations via social media.

I use Khoros Marketing every day to produce proactive content for a global entertainment and technology brand. I use Analytics to escalate key performance indicators into senior levels of the business, and I use Care to inform 25% of my proactive content.
  • Produces simple proactive content.
  • Pulls in basic social media metrics.
  • You can't create polls, retweets, quote tweets, threads, or comments.
  • You can't get valuable, intelligent insights through Analytics.
  • You can't use Care to evaluate volumetric demand as the widgets available are minimal and basic.
If you're after a platform that allows you to produce simple, basic proactive content, Khoros Marketing will work fine. It can do most things, aside from the things that make social media interesting (polls, threads, retweets, quote tweets, etc). Analytics is restricted by API limits, and sometimes doesn't pull in the correct numbers; it also lacks intelligent widgets, so you can't find out what keywords, phrases, hashtags, or emojis are most used by your audience. That is all manual.

We use Khoros to schedule, organize and analyze social media content across our three global channels: LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram. Our user pool is moderated, with around ten active users and ten additional occasional users. We leverage the platform to centralize all social media content and metrics, facilitating day-to-day operations. We currently are in the scale-up part of our Khoros journey where we are working at implementing workflows around and in the platform to strengthen our social media strategy and governance.

The limitations that we face are around social platforms APIs restrictions which impact our ability to use Khoros to it's full potential, resulting in a lot of manual work to tag and re-tag content to ensure performance is tracked within Khoros. As well as some issues with the approval rules, which result in blocking content from being published. Gaps on the analytics side also prove to reduce the relevance of the tool, mostly for reporting on Instagram content performance.
  • Ease of use
  • Onboarding program and customer support
  • Rapid deployment
  • Look and feel of the interface could use a refresh as it's not very exciting to use
  • Improve analytics features and accuracy
  • Facilitate bulk actions
  • Better alerts/visibility of collaborative actions and assigned tasks
  • Clearer communication around new feature releases and announcements
Khoros is a great platform overall that is easy to use and not overloaded with features that get in the way of the user experience, unlike some of its competitors. Features and customizations are pretty easy to implement and get around, even after the enablement phase with the Khoros teams. Customers is amazing and incredibly effective.
There are some areas when I would want them to improve, such as the overall look and feel of the platform, to provide more fluidity and modernize it overall. The Analytics technology seems to be a bit behind current standards and the dashboards are still pretty simple with limited dive into the data. In-platform collaboration could be improved and made easier, I tend to get lost or have to search for tasks that have been assigned to me, and fail to find them easily, which causes a bunch of issues for the content to be published.

Khoros Marketing is currently our social media management tool used for publishing content, monitoring our social media channels and engaging with our social media audience. The tool is relatively easy to use and has solid funcionality and features. I think there could be more custom client onboarding and training for the tool but it has been reliable for us in recent years.
  • Easy to adopt
  • I like that you can save pre-approved responses to the library
  • You can customize queues to route items to specific team members
  • The customer success team is not as connected as they once were.
  • Training is limited, you don't feel you're getting a white glove service.
  • They seem later to the game in adopting new API features.
Khoros marketing has suited our orginizations needs. We have a modest size team w/out major customization needs. Khoros has allowed us to remain compliant and keep us organized when it comes to publishing and providing excellent community management.

I use Khoros Marketing to advertize Recreational Vehicles, retail products, and events for our Camping World Location on Facebook. This product allows me to promote products to a large audience and this product enables it to be shared by other users.
  • Helps with creating a schedule for social media content
  • Enables colleagues to see each others posts and enables others to use these posts
  • Gives users suggestions of the time of day to release content
  • Enable using both videos and pictures in a post
  • More options for type of posts one can make on Facebook
Khoros Marketing is well suited for marketing products.

Khoros is used for all of my functions reviewing and community management. We often use the plans, approval rules, and content center.
  • Relationship building
  • Plans
  • Publishing
  • Functionality
  • Community Management
  • Fixing errors in a timely manner
  • No one knows what's going on
  • More communication across the board
  • Implementing new tactics that will help consumer
  • Addressing consumer's issues
  • Addressing consumer's ideas, making our lives easier
In my opinion, Khoros would be well-suited to a smaller company that doesn't have as much stake in the game. For larger companies with multiple stakeholders and multiple FDA/legal/regulatory impacts, the functionality of Khoros isn't up to par. I believe there are no real answers when things go wrong. Everything is always that the engineers are "working on it." It seems like you're understaffed because it's taken six plus months to fix an issue when things go awry.

We use Khoros Marketing as our hub to pull quick & informative insights of our various brands as well as schedule & publishing content. The problems we would've normally faced without such a user-friendly & effective platform such as Khoros would've been to schedule, publish, and gather data per post, per brand & since posts almost every day for all 4 brands, that might've catered to us having to employ 4 individuals instead of one handsome gentle. The scope of the use case is only for organic social from my perspective even though Khoros has paid social capabilities.
  • Labels & its power to pull data for specific needs such as organic versus paid, or detail specific such as in studio content performance versus UGC...etc.
  • The ticket support team is on top of things. One issue arises & they are on top of it within a few hours with guidance & support.
  • For businesses that manage multiple channels & multiple brands, this is a top notch tool & can't wait to see what Ai will enhance of this already very powerful tool.
  • Ability to copy & paste labels since some posts are auto imported like Pinterest videos.
  • We need to open up the API limitations, for example Talkwalker has gender insights to twitter but Khoros does not.
  • Khoros should have their own insights for social media benchmarks per industry per social media following size.
I just did that in the last question.

Community management is at the forefront of Khoros Marketing. Our team uses the platform for content scheduling, analytics, and day to day community management for 15 brands in the US and Canada. We needed something reliable that would be suitable for our Consumer Care team to assist social management in one convenient space. Khoros does just that, provides the main social platforms in one easy-to-use inbox. You can set your collections and spaces accordingly to your preferences. Labels also make it easy for us to keep track of what consumers are saying in the digital world.
  • Inbox is organized and customizable.
  • Content calendar is a great feature.
  • Publishing content is SO easy.
  • Simple analytics and data exports are easy to use and quick to deliver results.
  • TikTok availability on Marketing instead of Care.
  • 24/7 support via phone/chat.
  • Accounts deauthenticate easily.
There is always room for improvement but Khoros will eventually be one of the top tools for social management. There are times where, unfortunately, accounts do deauthenticate from Instagram or Facebook, but that's solved from an admin account (which not everyone has access to). Other than that, Khoros Marketing works fine for day to day community management.

We use Khoros for social media moderation of our accounts across Facebook, Instagram and YouTube. The columns allow us to filter based on level of risk to prioritise our moderation since we get a very large volume of social media comments (i.e. our Facebook page has over 4.5 million followers).
  • Provides columns to sort social media comments
  • Columns are customisable
  • Dismissing comments is quick and easy
  • Filters don't always work
  • The hide comment feature can be buggy and sometimes randomly stops working
  • Manually refreshing columns is tricky to deal with high volume accounts
It is good for getting comments across multiple social media platforms into one feed that can then be sorted into columns. However, it can be trickier for monitoring comments on live Facebook videos and doesn't seem to be fast enough.

We mainly use Khoros for scheduling social posts and for reporting analytics on ad sales. It has a relatively simple user interface, and I was able to pick it up quickly. We schedule upwards of 100+ posts per day from many different accounts on many different platforms, but Khoros rarely has any issue with this. The only issue I've run into is Khoros clashing with our VPN service we use when in office, but even then it's a simple fix.
  • Simple to use
  • Easy to organize various posts
  • In depth analytics for reporting
  • When we had day light savings, certain menus didn't automatically update causing posts to go out an hour early or late
Any company with a large social presence across multiple platforms and accounts that would need to schedule posts and wants an easy to view dashboard of all posts. Additionally it provides analytics that can help you determine what to post more of, and what types of content to steer clear of in the future.

  • Allow "@" in the comment section.
  • Create a customizable widget.

We use Khoros in our organization to schedule content on each channel. Khoros helps us schedule everything on one platform for a variety of different accounts.
  • The viewing tab for all scheduled content is laid out nicely.
  • People from every part of the business are able to see what someone is doing.
  • Reels are published to the Instagram feed.
  • Re-authentication happens WAY too often. Even after something hasn't been adjusted to the account.
  • Items fail multiple times a week (on different platforms).
  • Inbound can be cleared by a colleague but won't be cleared on my view so we're duplicating efforts.
  • No link in the bio feature, so we have to use another platform for Instagram.
  • Paying WAY more than other software to do the same thing.

I use Khoros Marketing to schedule social media posts across several channels (Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, EveryoneSocial) and keep track of what types of content we are scheduling (reputation pillars). We pull monthly reports to show our content performance, labels, channel growth, etc. This expedites our scheduling/posting/reporting process and keeps everything uniform and in one place.
  • Easy to schedule posts across multiple social channels
  • Labels/tags, targeting, media uploads, link previews are easy to use in publishing
  • Analytics/data reports are easy to understand and simple to edit/customize
  • Stronger Instagram integration (upload cover image for videos)
  • Ability to resize images in publisher (not just in content center)
  • Threads integration
  • Edit/add labels in publisher (not just in settings)
Khoros Marketing is best suited for publishing across several social channels at once, keeping track of tags/labels, and scheduling content in advance. Rarely, but sometimes, it is better to publish content natively (on the social channel itself) if Khoros has an error or missing functionality such as uploading a custom video cover image, more complex/inclusive geotargeting, or link preview rendering issues.

My company uses Khoros as social media management, social listening, and customer care tool. Multiple branches (countries) coordinate and share social media content via Khoros. Using Khoros Intelligence, we generate regular social listening reports for product managers on various topics (technologies, competitors, products) from Twitter posts/conversations. Customer queries on Twitter are answered via the corporate customer care inbox.
  • Scheduling social media posts
  • Creating social listening dashboards
  • Mobile post pushing
  • Reporting dashboards
  • Social listening on Reddit
  • More user-friendly content center
Khoros Marketing works well for companies that have many users going into the platform. My company has many users from multiple branches that all use Khoros for both separate and overlapping platforms, and running into each others' efforts hasn't really been an issue for us. In fact, it's easy to see what is scheduled from the calendar view and copying posts is pretty simple.
