Really great lightweight BI tool! It packs a real functionality punch for such an easy-to-use platform!
- Dashboard design. Super simple and easy to set up, move and size components, and display.
- Klip creation. This is report/chart creation. Klipfolio straddles the line well between ease-of-use and robust capability for data crunching and visualization.
- Data sync. I have had very few data sync issues. The sync just works and it is very light-weight on API calls.
- Multiple data source formats. You can make data sources in JSON, Summarized View, and Detailed View.
- Modeled data sources. You can create modeled versions of any data source, which allows you to lock in data formats, add columns (including formula columns), and more.
- Team permissions. I have been able to set team permission sets and use that to display the given dashboards around the office. With this, I can control who has access to which data.
- Chart options. There is a great selection of chart types to choose from.
- Great support. Their support staff has always been very responsive—almost always immediate. I have always been able to resolve my issues with them.
- I wish there was an option to display timelined data in a quarterly increment. I can daily, weekly, monthly, yearly, but not quarterly.
- The data filtering options are often lacking. I almost always have to make sure to filter my data in the sourced CRM report before I create the data source, rather than adding the filters afterward in Klipfolio. I'm sure I could remedy this if I were better at JSON.
- I've found that you can report on just about anything if you're able to manipulate the JSON report. I wish there were more templated reports and charts, especially for Marketo, social platforms, and Google Analytics.
- I wish you could display more than one line or bar on the same chart. For example, I'd like to display last quarter's conversion stats on top of this quarter's stats to show a comparison in the same line chart. But I haven't found a good way of doing that yet.
- I really love using the mobile app, but on IOS it gets funky when you switch between portrait and landscape. Maybe it is an issue with the notched design on iPhone X and beyond. The hamburger menu spacing gets messed up when you start in portrait, switch to landscape to view better, then back to portrait--it ends up being right over the time display and you can't tap on it.
- Sharing is clunky. I really like that I can password protect shared dashboards, but I wish it was easier to share/send links to dashboards internally with the team when strict privacy is not needed.
- I like the dark theme, but wish it didn't display all the chart colors in the negative. It's really weird to have to make sure all the chart colors are the lightest in order to display the darkest when on dark theme. I wish the theme just changed the background color instead of inverting all the colors.

Klipfolio, the best dashboarding solution.
- Klipfolio can source the data used from Dropbox to easily incorporate offline data such as targets in Excel files or call center data exported in CSV files.
- The UI is easy to use while still being very powerful. If you know Excel formulas, you will quickly find your way in Klipfolio.
- Dashboards created in Klipfolio are automatically resized based on the device used. Even on mobile phones with 5-inch screens, VP can remotely access their business KPIs and have near real-time data.
- Klipfolio support in excellent. They offer live chat and a very rich QA section. When you first register, you can participate in online training to get you started as quickly as possible.
- Klipfolio licencing is very affordable.
- Klipfolio is not a reporting tool such as Tableau nor Power BI. It's a real dashboard solution meant at visualizing KPIs. If you need a reporting solution to investigate and drill deeper into datasets, Klipfolio is not for that.
- Building a flexible and robust product, with loads of features and all the integrations I need.
- Amazing customer support.
- Accessible pricing.
- I had very few experiences where the support staff wasn't as helpful as other support staff from Klipfolio itself.
- The product is considerably friendly for newbies and easy to use, but a better onboarding or a questionnaire that would provide me with the exact answers I needed would be wonderful.

- Honestly, I don't have a single bad thing I'd say about Klipfolio. Maybe there is a learning curve for some people that don't have data analytics experience, however, the Ninja team at Klipfolio is so amazing and on the ball that it's not an issue and the platform has a great degree of customization, so I don't consider this a con at all actually. Special shout out to Adam from the ninja team for all the support he has given us.

Metrics & Momentum with Email Marketing
- Knowledgebase - Recently Klipfolio has made improvements to their interface and functionality allowing it easier for a non-formula minded marketer (like myself) to use. Being the visual person that I am, I find the video library as well as the knowledgebase with examples helpful and reference them often to build the visual component I need.
- The hover effect showing the details of a particular data point is extremely helpful and enables the user to take a closer look at specifics if they choose.
- Sharable. Klipfolio makes it easy to share the dashboard with stakeholders in a variety of formats - PDF, JPG, CSV, etc.
- Klipfolio Ninja Services has assisted me in advancing the dashboards I create for our clients to an entirely new level. Most often I have the vision and know how I want to parse the data -- but sometimes the right formula or a better, more straightforward way of bringing the data to life happens with Janice, our Klipfolio Ninja!
- Onboarding. The process of setting up a new client for a dashboard can be a little tedious.
- File size upload and third-party integrations. I have been limited to the size of the .csv file we were uploading but we were able to find a workaround.

- Customer Service - They are available via chat all day to help with any aspect of the site, including formulas.
- Knowledge - They have been able to help me with every detail of what I am trying to accomplish. I am having to pull in data from multiple sources which makes the formulas very complicated. They have been able to help me at every step to come up with solutions.
- Great design - The design of the Klips and the dashboards are easy to put together and extremely versatile. You can design your dashboard to look anyway you and your clients want.
- I build a lot of reports in Excel that I keep on my PC. It would be nice if there was a way to automatically upload the data, by means of macros.
