We using KnowBe4 for phishing awareness and training. it's a great tool for training people about phishing, to be aware of any type of scam or fraudulent emails, and computer security in general.
• the phishing emails are setup very well. they strike the right balance of giving the signs of a phishing email but not being too obvious.
• some of the backend administration is very intuitive.
• the support is very good. they reach out consistently to make sure it's a good experience.
• some of the backend features aren't as intuitive as they should be.
• some of the reports could use some improvement.
Any business that has employees that use computers and email would benefit from KnowBe4. Phishing is so prevalent and KnowBe4 does a great job training employees of all ages about phishing, computer security and physical security.

KnowBe4 is our primary Security Awareness Training platform. Users are assigned training modules and participate in Phishing Simulations and other training opportunities.
• Phishing Simulation.
• User Risk Scoring.
• Immediate Training on Phish Click.
• Engaging Training Content.
• Gamified Training.
• Group Training related content.
• Interactive simulations.
I like that I can tailor content based on a user's personal risk score as well as based on their job functions. Being able to target Executive Leadership differently than Payroll, etc., is very helpful.

We use KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training to educate our staff on Security Awareness Training and to test their level of retention by utilizing phishing campaigns. If our staff fail the phishing campaign, we automatically enroll them in additional security awareness training campaign to reenforce their training and hopefully increase their security mindedness. When we first started using KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training, our company's vulnerability was approximately 28%. After 6 months of using KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training, that vulnerability percentage dropped to approximately 3%. Maintaining awareness and training and enforcing it with periodic phishing campaigns helps keep our company safe.
• Raises awareness of different types of phishing emails used by bad actors
• Helps end-users identify phishing or malicious emails
• Reduces the number of helpdesk support tickets submitted from users accidentally falling victim to phishing emails
• Would like to see easier integration with Active Directory / Azure
• Would like to have better instructional direction for creating custom phishing material
• Would like to see a better, more up to date user interface ( modernize )
First off, I do not believe there are any scenarios where use of KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training would be less appropriate. In today's cyber threat landscape, everyone needs security awareness training. I believe one of KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training best features is the ability to create customized phishing campaigns such as 'specifically for accounting' or 'specifically for information technologies'. Being able to 'spear phish' our staff in one specific department makes them more apt to at least open the emails rather than just discard them

Knowbe4 provides tools to simulate phishing attacks and other social engineering techniques to test and educate our employees. This gives us a good picture to how our training is going and the vulnerabilities to phishing threats. It is utilized to train all employees from staff to executives, to ensure that everyone is aware of security best practices.
• Phishing and Social Engineering Attacks
• Human Error
• Ensuring customers that the data used is the most current based on industry trends.
Well-Suited Scenarios:
Phishing Prevention and Detection: KnowBe4 is particularly effective in scenarios where organizations want to educate their employees to recognize and respond to phishing attacks. It can simulate real-world phishing attempts and teach employees to be vigilant, helping to reduce the risk of falling victim to phishing emails.
Less Appropriate Scenarios:
Resistance to Training: In scenarios where employees are resistant to security training or have a history of non-compliance, KnowBe4 may face challenges in changing their behavior, especially if the organizational culture does not support security awareness.

Training modules from KnowBe4 are uploaded into our company LMS and assigned to users through our internal portal. Training records are tracked and noted for each employee within the LMS portal. The format provided by KnowBe4 is compatible with our LMS solution, so integration is a very easy process for our Teams.
• Phishing related training.
• Smishing related training.
• General best practices.
• Some trainings are too lengthy.
• Many of the the trainings are very corney and over exaggerated.
The service is very good in relation to training and Phishing campaigns. I also enjoy the PhishIT integration that allows users to report suspect messages for review. The service is very good, but the pricing is on the high side, and there seems to be a lot of upselling for additional modules and products.

KnowBe4 has been a key tool in helping end users be better prepared to identify security issues like phishing. Our user risk scores have dramatically decreased since we onboarded KnowBe4 as we ensure that all users are completing their regularly assigned training and it's often discussed at many different company-wide meetings.

People generally know what to look for and how to safeguard themselves and the organization by being better prepared. Looking back to several years ago, we were in a much worse situation and our user risk scores were much higher. Now that everyone is up to speed we find that the phishing emails are often not clicked by most users.
• Short and focused training
• Includes basic quizzes about the information in the training
• Easy to follow along
• Many short and easy to watch videos that help train users
• Some interactive games are also available to use for the training modules
• The platform has been very beneficial to our organization and I would highly recommend it for other organizations - both large and small.
It is a good training for all employees of an organization because one compromised account via a phishing attempt could lead to a major issue for the whole organization. It stresses the importance of all users being the front line of security and needing to be aware of the various scams and phishing attempts targeting users of all kinds.

We used KnowB4 for all of our email phishing campaigns. We run our campaings once a month on average and can target groups of employees that are either more susceptible to falling for an phishing email or employees more likely to be a target of a phishing attack.
• Phishing Campaings
• Targeted audience
• Forcing more training for employees that need it.
• KnowBe4 is an overall good product wih very few flows.
It's great for onblarding new employees and making sure that new hire understand some basic concepts.
It's great for combatting things like phishing email. 80% of hacks come from an employee making a mistake because they are not trained well enough.

KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training is the platform we use that educates and trains employees on cybersecurity. It includes a phishing simulation tool that sends simulated phishing emails to test users' ability to recognize and respond to attacks. The tool generates reports to identify weaknesses and target training efforts. KnowBe4 also offers training modules on social engineering, password security, and more. By regularly conducting simulations and providing comprehensive training, KnowBe4 helps organizations strengthen their cybersecurity defenses and reduce the risk of falling victim to phishing attacks.
• Provide a phishing reporting tool
• Constant update of training modules
• Integrates with our HR platform
• User risk measurements are not accurate.
• Training content can sometimes be outdated.
• Some of the training aren't very relevant.
While KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training is effective for general employee training on cybersecurity, it may be less appropriate for IT/Dev teams who require more specialized and technical training. These teams may benefit from more advanced and in-depth training programs tailored to their specific roles and responsibilities in the organization's security infrastructure.

We use KnowBe4's security awareness training and phishing simulation capabilities. We currently conduct both training and phishing simulations on a quarterly basis to respond to the challenge of real phishing campaigns. KnowBe4 is a great tool that lets us manage training/phishing simulations effectively while also offering excellent reporting capabilities.
• Reporting
• Phishing simulations
• User management
• Training options can feel limited in the modstore
KnowBe4 is best suited to a corporate environment where you can fully leverage all training options from the modstore to your environment. In my usecase, we have a lot of users who work in manufacturing/processing/agriculture and the training options can feel limited. Phishing simulations are well suited to a variety of scenarios as the templates are fully customisable.

We are using the system as it is recommended by KnowBe4 - according to ASAP. We are implementing simulated phishing attacks, training programs, analyzing results, working with most risky users. We hope the product will help our Company to increase security awareness level.
• Really nice videos.
• Material updated quite frequently.
• Reminding messages stimulate users to pass trainings.
• It would be good to make it possible to put in templates (email, notification) pictures (jpg and gif files) directly without web links. It would make notification messages more nice and simplify picture adding process. Also it would solve the whitelisting issues with blocking the links inside the messages.
• It would be nice if the templates had the same fonts as in MS Word/Outlook. Sometimes it is too complicated to make the phishing email similar to corporate emailing style.
• Initial user registration process in the training system is too complicated. E.g. user has to create the password even in case of password-less technology is implemented.
There are many nice training materials available in Modstore. All of them are high quality. To involve as many users as possible in further trainings, the first training should not be boring and too long and should not contain many questions. I would recommend 2-3 funny videos. Only after several short funny trainings SAPA could be run. Also PAB is a very useful feature! I would recommend to allow user surveys and do analyze them. It would tell you if users are satisfied with trainings and how they like it.

Security Awareness Training is a crucial component of any organization's cybersecurity strategy. The main goal is to create a culture of security consciousness where employees understand the role they play in protecting the organization's digital assets. This product has many features and these are the one commonly used by our organization:

2. Customized Training Content
3. Simulated Phishing Campaigns
• Assessment and Baseline
• Customized Training Content
• Simulated Phishing Campaigns
• Real-World Examples
The product is very thorough on what it promises to deliver. We evaluated few others and this one stand out. Another good feature is that it can cater for languages other than English. It is very easy to rollout.

We use KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training for internal IT Security training and awareness. It is also used for training and tracking related to goverment/industry related compliance requirements. We are also considering expanding our use of KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training to our HR related training and compliance needs. I had also intended to use it extensively for CyberSecurity Month training but found that the tools and modules available were not ideal for that purpose. In the end, I mostly used other tools and resources which - to be very honest - was a huge surprise and disappointment. I worked extensively with their account support people and they did help move the needle in the right direction but - in the end - we didn't quite get there for the majority of our activities and training.
• Provide a large variety of training module options
• Tracking training progress
• Providing an easy to use and administer framework for doing security training
• Doing almost anything custom. There is usually a way to do it but it is a very manual process
• Trying to find short videos with a moderate amount of training content is difficult.
• Scheduling a training campaign that drops content in regular intervals is not possible. Each piece of content has to have its own campaign.
We deeply care about the growth and education of our employees. We also need to meet regulatory requirements. KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training made it very quick and easy to check off the boxes in a way that didn't feel bad. As I have delved deeper into what I want to be able to do around training our employees I feel like I regularly run into roadblocks. Often, with the very available assistance of our account reps, we are able to find a way to do what I want to do; but it requires workarounds.

I love the videos for training the users and the e-mail phishing tests we send to our users. At first, many users were fooled, but after watching the training videos, our phishing test results have gone way down. I like the KnowBe4 button in Outlook that users can click on a phony e-mail, and the button sends the e-mail to our security department.
• Training Videos
• Phishing E-mail test send
• KbowBe4 button inside Outlook
• Documentation and configuring Integration with internal Active Directory, not Azure AD
• Better documentation on implementing phishing e-mail campaigns.
Training videos are really helpful in pointing out scam e-mails to our users and have reduced amount of users getting fooled by scam e-mails.

We have various simulated phishing attacks that, over time, calculate a security awareness score. If a mandatory participant fails such a test, the user is prompted for additional training.
• Provides simulated phishing emails to unaware corporate email users.
• Provides training for various phishing attacks
• Keeps a running score, per user, over time and evaluates the user awareness to phishing campaigns.
• Sometimes, we may wish to take it back, which is not possible.
• The accumulated score does not reset over a period of time.
I wasn't aware of all the phishing techniques that bad actors are using. Another incident, that I failed, was an email from HR with an attachment. I wasn't aware of internal AD-level spoofing while inside the corporate environment.

We use KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training, and the PhishER and PhishRIP modules. This addresses quarterly information security training as well as our monthly phishing awareness campaigns. The ER/RIP portions help us respond to phishing alerts and action upon malicious messages to remove them from other mailboxes.
• Knowledge transfer
• Raising awareness about current adversary tactics
• Easy to use
• Ability to customize training content
Great for covering corporate training requirements, training content is fresh, easy to integrate and imaplement.

May be less appropriate for smaller companies. Also, biggest gap is proactive malicious email remediation, but strong for post-receipt email reporting and remediation.

I've been using KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training for a while now, and I can confidently say that this training software helps us create a culture of cybersecurity awareness among our employees and reduces the risk of falling victim to cyberattacks with clear metrics. With its comprehensive training, reasonable pricing, realistic simulations, and user-friendly interface, I recommend this solution to anyone.
• Phishing Simulations

We use KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training to comply with our Cybersecurity Insurance Policy of providing training 2 times a year. We also use it to provide targeted training to particular offices on campus, focusing on modules that are more geared and centered to their particular job responsibilities. We also use it as remedial training for end-users who are habitual "clickers"
• Company Wide Cyber Security Awareness Training
• Targeted Cyber Security Awareness Training for specific departments
• Provides a quick, easy, and intuitive way to provide training to your employees

We use training modules from KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training on our company training site. We are assigned to complete the training by a specific date -we can print the completed certificate. Some users have had issues in printing the certificate. Our security manager will also send test emails through the email system to see how well the training took for the users. I think it works reasonably well with the general population of email users who click on everything.
• Explains the different types of attacks like DOS, social engineering, etc.
• In the area of social engineering - companies need to be more vigilant on access to buildings. I have seen workers enter the building in the morning and leave the door open to allow someone into the building who does not have an ID badge. And no security guard is there to manage the flow of traffic into the building in the morning.
• In the case of a leased building where several businesses share the building. The building owner needs a guard there to manage physical access.
Between 7 and 8
Ultimately, in order for this work people have to care. I think it is hard to make this point when people don't train for computer/network security and they may not use a computer for their daily jobs. Additionally, I think it's equally hard for those who are constantly getting emails and invoices from other vendors for payment.

We currently use it for training the whole company on various topics like password security, phishing emails and other tips to prevent social engineering. We are required to have on-going quarterly trainings. We also get random phishing emails from the company to keep us alert.
• Explains simply
• Does not go into too much technical jargon
• Enforces training with simulated phising emails.
• Would like to see something more advanced targeting technical users.
• Videos sometimes play but do not getting credit for watching video.
• Would like to see more in depth about social engineering since that is where the most problems take place.
It has worked for Mission Produce as it has trained users on what to look for and we quite regularly get requests to our service desk reporting phishing/scam/fraud emails. Sometimes it does a little too good of a job as we have periods where users report everything as a scam/fraud/phishing and we have to spend time looking at a lot of legit emails. But would rather have someone over report than under report.

This is best suited for a large IT department with many users. For small shops, I feel that this would be overkill.

KnowBe4 Cybersecurity training modules & Phishing simulations are selected and scheduled throughout the year in our company. The training provides knowledge that end-users may not have realized or known, as well as awareness for how malicious actors may attempt to gain access. Phishing simulations help gauge user awareness and provide teachable moments, allowing additional training through automated group settings. Our company also utilizes the Culture Survey and Cybersecurity Assessment to gain perspective for areas of improvement, and to select targeted training throughout the year. Both the survey and assessment provide detailed insight for organizing training that benefits the end-users -and ultimately the company.
• Cybersecurity Training games & videos that keeps users engaged
• Phishing Simulation with System & Community templates
• Policy module for uploading, assigning, and reporting company policies
• Reporting module with custom views which can be saved and scheduled
• Executive reports could provide more customization with user details
• Faster response time to console after user completes training
I've utilized services similar to KnowBe4, but am continually impressed by KnowBe4's training modules, options, features, and especially the Policies option.
