Kofax Power PDF Review
- Very fast and accurate PDF creation from many formats. 2. Quick and simple conversions from PDF to many useful formats and vice-versa. 3. Apply scanned signatures to official documents. 4. Apply a Dynamic Stamp to PDF documents. 5. Create Dynamic stamps. 6. Allow multiple open documents on a single screen using tabs. 7. Easily convert photos to PDF documents. 8. "Active Files" dropdown menu makes navigation between several documents simple.
- The conversion from PDF to Excel (*.xlsx) sometimes requires significant editing. 2. Allowing multiple users (3, 5, etc...) on a single license would be helpful as currently some employees cannot use our company's single license. 3. (Sorry, can't think of anymore Cons)
Kofax Power PDF Review
- Combine different pdf files into one Make header and/or footer with page numbering Edit pdf's (the text etc)
- When combining pdf's with existing header it is difficult/impossible to keep this if the combined pdf has a different header (this is also issue with Adobe Acrobat). I have yet to encounter any other issues.
Kofax Power PDF Review
- Enables me to view pdf's easily and effectively.
- I can edit pdf's for presentations.
- It doesn't crash!
- As with most software, the controls to edit or manipulate documents isn't always intuitive. Partly because I split time between two or three pdf software, but I guess I'm not yet comfortable with it.
Kofax Power PDF Review
- Adding Text Boxes
- Password Protecting Files.
- Making text changes to existing PDF's that were not even created in Kofax Power PDF.
- No real guidance on usage. I think the program could do so much more than I am using it for, but I don't know what some of the options do, and don't have time to figure them out.
- Some icons are not universal icons so you have to know what they do, or figure that out.
- Sometimes converting PDF's to other MS Office programs doesn't go as expected.
Try this product - Great Redaction Feature
- Delete information which doesn't need to be on there (hand written notes)
- Recognize words so you don't have to read it all
- It took me a while to find the redaction method
Kofax Power PDF Review
- Bates stamping, rotating pages, combining pdfs into one file, converting PDFS to searchable documents, rearranging pages, and converting to WORD or EXCEL among others.
- Lower the price ;), maintain the size of the window at startup as previous files, and improve the conversion of spanish (special characters as ~, ', etc.
Kofax Power PDF Review
- Convert Word-Kofax-Image, convert PDFs to Word or Excel and vise versa, use for documents require e-signature, and much much more - the conversion are smooth and easy every time
- Allows you to pretty much do anything with a PDF file, the file conversions in both directions are seamless and efficient
What a time saver for HR or Legal assistants!
- Combining documents easily
- redacting portions of documents
- deleting/arranging order of pages, and altering the images in documents easily
- Adding text fields
- Searching the PDF forms
- instruction/marketing on signatures, and expanding that capability. I use DocuSign now since I'm used to it, but I'd love to switch if it made sense
Being able to convert a PDF to a word doc to edit has been so valuable since I've needed to make edits and changes. I'll receive PDFs from clients and they ask to make changes to them. Kofax helps me to do that quickly without needing to ask for the word doc version.
I also use DocuSign a lot and need to combine signed documents into one packet. Kofax helps with that.
Kofax Power PDF Review.
- Provide a powerful typewriter feature in a PDF. Insert PDF into a Word document. Reduce the size of large PDF files.
- It cannot change the size of a document from say A3 to A4 Sometimes the file size is expanded rather than reduced It is difficult to insert PNG or JPG files easily.
Kofax Power PDF Review.
- Scanning, especially manual two-sided scanning.
- Converting PDF to MS Word.
- Form Filling.
- I cannot think of three things that Kofax can do better, but there is one feature I would like to see added. Iris San has a feature called descewing. When you scan documents, it rarely scans perfectly horizontally which makes form filling difficult. Descewing straightens out the scanned document.
Kofax Power PDF Review.
- Multiple levels of utility make it versatile: Sometimes, a quick scan and save is all that's needed, and sometimes, it's necessary to dig deep into various options to get exactly the right output. Kofax Power PDF gives me choices.
- The wide range of operations possible within this single program means not having to switch to Photoshop or some other app and then back to Kofax Power PDF.
- User-friendly toolbars and menus with logical groupings made Kofax Power PDF easy to comprehend as a new user, and the Help guides are truly helpful.
- I find that quickly editing text within a document or adding a line of text is clunky and can snowball into things popping out of place. I prefer to export text, and then work on it elsewhere.
- Sometimes it seems that text recognition is trying too hard and throws me paper punches as "O"s and wrinkles as shapes, so I have to get rid of those artifacts.
- The "Update Available" popup which is usually not an actual update announcement but rather an offer to sell me something is annoying.
Kofax Power PDF: Better than the Rest
- Bates Numbering
- Searching in the document/ making documents searchable
- Watermarking
- Adding signatures and time stamps
- It loads really slowly
- Edit PDFs
- eSignatures and Security
- Converting from other file types.
Best made product for both Marketing and Administration!
- Creating fillable forms
- High Quality Output of Documents
- Saving as High Res Images
- Lag
- Price
Happy with the ease of use!
- Editing existing text or adding new text
- Moving pages around
- Combining alot of pdfs into one
- connection with printing to power pdf faster
Kofax Power PDF is effective and budget friendly
- Easy to use, even for users who had little to no experience with pdf editing.
- Reliable
- Robust - able to do all we needed and more!
- Bates numbering could be made simpler to learn
- Converts the document into a machine readable document
- Electronically sign a document
- Readable within any pdf program
- Add or edit text in PDF documents
- Once created, the text box within a pdf document can be a bit unwieldy to manage and change when necessary
Koufax Power PDF Advanced - Highly Recommended
- Assembling multiple PDFs into a single PDF
- Focusing attention on important parts of a document using highlights, typing and note boxes
- Converting PDFs to Word documents and spreadsheets
- Better “help” functions
- Editing PDF files is fairly easy, it recognizes the existing fonts, and uses the same font for editing.
- Joining PDF files can be accomplished very easily, and once in, can be rearranged in any order.
- Kofax Power PDF interfaces with PDF files almost as well as Adobe Acrobat.
- I have not experienced any difficulties using Kofax Power PDF
- There is a complaint I might make and that is that in each time I start Kofax Power PDF, it loads in a brand-new instance. In other words, it does not reside in memory as other programs do and it's a bit slower to get up and running. This is not a major issue.
- Also, Kofax Power PDF does not save files in photo formats such as JPEG or PNG, etc.
Should be required for all law-firms that e-file.
- Rearranging/deleting/inserting pages in PDFs
- Converting multiple files into one PDF
- Annotating other PDFs or images
- Redacting documents
- Text box management
- More encryption options
- Better options for compressing filesizes on large PDFs
Great features at a great price
- Converts PDFs to Word
- Allows me to sign PDFs
- Easy to combine multiple documents
- Easy to edit text in PDF
- I think the menu bar is at time not intuitive
- I think it would be nice to have a draw function to sign instead of a multiple step process
- Conversion of documents from Word
- Customizing through editing text in PDF itself
- Redaction
- Ability to move objects from one page to another
- Ease of changing from one tool to another
A very helpful pdf management alternative
- converting microsoft files to pdf
- adjusting file orientation
- redaction
- print to pdf
- combining and splitting files
- Speed sometimes its a little slow when a document is first loaded before you can select anything
- make it even more user friendly to access new features using tips perhaps
- in the list of printers Kofax power pdf should be called kofax power pdf not just power pdf it gets missed by staff
