We use a lot of SaaS products and want to stay secure. Using a password manager is a no-brainer for an organization to manage access to all the SaaS products they use and make sure that only the relevant people have access to sensitive credentials. LastPass for Business lets us do all of that pretty easily and more.
  • Manage users and access
  • Group users into groups
  • Giving users access to credentials without revealing the passwords.
  • The UI is buggy and slushish at times
  • UI is very outdated and the UX could be improved
  • Folders concept can be improved
A great solution for small-ish companies. I'd say 50 people is easy I'll manage. I think more than that would be much harder as I didn't find a way to manage hierarchies and give users multiple roles. In addition, organizations tax rely on SSO for most of their SaaS usages wouldn't gain much from LastPass in my opinion.

We use Lastpass to help us keep track of all of our passwords across the organization. The ability to restrict and share passwords has been helpful as team members might leave or transfer teams and we need to revoke access to certain applications. This has allowed us to share it without them being able to see the password, so we don't have to reset the password every time there's a change.
  • Password sharing.
  • Password generating.
  • Password management.
  • Autofill can be a little touchy at times.
It is so easy to use. Whether you're tech illiterate or super tech savvy, this is a tool that is very easy to use. I like being able to share access to certain applications while keeping the password confidential. This has been nice as we've worked with contractors and need to control who has access to certain tools.

Beyond the basic keeping track of passwords, LastPass has been invaluable in being able to share passwords with others without having to disclose the actual password. Prior to using LastPass for Business, I would regularly need to give contractors the login information for various accounts needed for the work being done, they would have to keep track of which login credentials were shared, keep track exactly who it was shared with, and finally, once the project was completed, I would need to change the login credentials and make sure anyone else still using those credentials were updated as well. As you can tell, it was a huge headache, one that has been completely alleviated with LastPass for business.
  • Secure sharing of login credentials
  • Organization of passwords
  • Ability to manage password access
  • Detecting when a new login is created and prompting to save to LP
  • Consistent functionality with the web version
  • Increased ease of accepting shared passwords
LastPass for Business is well suited for anyone who has the need to share login credentials. It is invaluable for anyone who works with contractors or temporary employees who need access to applications but do not require their own account or login. With the need for so many different accounts for business operations, using LastPass is especially helpful in that you can not only securely and privately share login credentials, but you can also organize commonly shared bundles of passwords. For example, I have 3 folders for 3 different levels of access. Each folder has various passwords needed for that tier of access.

We use LastPass for Business to store and share all passwords related to applications used by the business. It also houses logins to various instances of our software that we need for support/configuration purposes. LastPass for Business is so easy to use and the extension is particularly useful for filling passwords on websites. It saves probably 30 seconds per login. When you log in to 10-50 sites on any given day, this is particularly helpful. It also helps you stay in your flow. Finally, I have recently started using the LastPass password generator and have found it very valuable.
  • Password Management
  • Password Sharing
  • Simplifying the Login Process
  • Time saving on logins (finding, copying, pasting passwords and other credentials
  • Fill functionality with Chrome Extension is easy
  • When you have sites that have the same root URL but different login pages, it would be good if it did a better job of distinguishing what page you were on to offer up the right password.
  • I think the generator would be great if it immediately prompted you to create a record when you generate the password.
  • I wish there was an easy export of personal vault passwords, not shared.
LastPass is simple, easy to use, os, and browser agnostic. Autofill is handy if sometimes clumsy. If you have to manage hundreds or thousands of usernames and passwords across sites (or even just a few), LastPass makes it simple to catalog, access, and share credentials. If you have to regularly generate secure passwords, LastPass makes it easy to do so in a manageable and scalable way. This helps to lessen the temptation to resort to less secure passwords for convenience's sake.

It is a great password management solution. Every employee manages their own passwords while sharing passwords to some corporate accounts with other employees. Everything is transparent and seamless whether using Macs, Windows, iOS, or Android. Also, managers can change the shared credentials and notify the users that share access or not. It is transparent. Next time they need to authenticate, it will just use the latest set of credentials.
  • desktop and laptop browser integration via plugin
  • smartphone app for automatic authentication on apps and browsers
  • ability to share credentials with others
  • password vault has security assessments and scores
  • better integration on iOS, seems to work slightly better on Android
  • better integration with windows 10/11 desktops, right now is a separate application
  • plugin for Firefox seems underpowered compared with the plugin for Chrome/Edge
LastPass for Business is a great password manager. It keeps all the credentials in sync over the cloud. It just needs to remember one password, and you can set the vault to unlock using fingerprint, face, or other methods. The ability to share credentials with other users makes it a breeze to allow others in the organization to access credentials without having to email them or send them otherwise.

LastPass has been incredibly helpful for my team as we work in project management. Anywhere where we have created an account (e.g amazon) or need to have the business card to hand it has helped the workflow. We can easily share info securely (no more sending photos of bank cards over WhatsApp!) and easily. It's also really helpful whenever anyone leaves the company, they can send all the passwords from accounts the new starter may need so there's no hiccup somewhere down the line. It saves time with logging in too frequently used platforms too!
  • Ease of sharing
  • Accurate storing
  • Updates new passwords
  • Does not always fill
  • Can be hard to see the info unless the 'edit' button is pressed in the vault
LastPass was really helpful when one of our coordinators left. It gave us time to go through everything they were an account manager for and send over all the login details before they left. Even things such as the code of padlocks and alarm systems could be shared on LastPass which made for a smooth handover with the new starter.

I am using this app since a long time. Best part having dual password security with one master password and other for internal note. As the data is more secure to maintain nessessory important notes and passwords as well. It sync with mobile app when you change your mobile device in that case authentication process is secured to login in new device.
  • Password manager
  • Dual password security
  • Authentication process along with biometric thumb impression
  • Few time it get auto logout
  • In case of minimise the screen, it should ask again for biometric finger touch login for more security
I would love to share that all the important details, password, notes are securely stored in LastPass for Business. There are multiple password with multiple applications used, so quite difficult to maintain those. LastPass for Business overcomes this problem.

We have a few seasoned employees who have terrible password management and security. For example, one would consistently use the company name as a password. If passwords required numbers of symbols it would be 'companyname12345!' or something similar. To make things worse, these employees would consistently forget passwords meaning they either write them down (in plain text in a notepad). I purchased LastPass for our business in an effort to curtail these practices. While gaining full adoption is difficult (see, previous section about employees), we have slowly been switching passwords and accounts to LastPass. For those that we have switched it is working quite well. I can give specific employees access to specific accounts/passwords. A nice thing about this product is I can share the account without having to share the actual passwords with employees. This increases security.
  • Managing paswords
  • Sharing passwords with employees
  • Setting secure passwords
  • Multi-factor authentication (for those who use it)
  • Managing users is a bit counterintuitive
  • Implementation (getting employee buy on) is a bit difficult
  • Sometimes passwords do not work if you only share permissions (not passwords)
LastPass for business, while not the perfect end all-be all, is a valuable tool for keeping passwords safe and managing passwords across employees. The password generation tool and ability to share credentials with specific employees (without sharing the password itself) is the strongest feature of LastPass. The issues we have had deal with adoption as there are still a few employees having difficulty installing / understanding how LastPass works.

LastPass is a product that we use daily. We use LastPass to manage and maintain an accurate list of passwords as well as a repository for key business identities. We use it to share passwords with users who need access to accounts but we do not share the actual password. LastPass also helps us to create and maintain secure passwords. The ability to use it on desktop as well as sync the info to mobile devices is a huge benefit.
  • The ability to always have passwords at your fingertips on mobile devices or desktop
  • Securely share login information and passwords with team members without actually sharing the info- share within the application or send links to those who need it
  • Sync mobil devices and desktops with passwords
  • Able to store critical information within the app and have for easy recall when needed such as legal documents, EIN, insurance policies, etc
  • There is a delay when sharing passwords with others - there are times that you need to share quickly but there is a lag time so it does not always work as desired
  • On mobile devices saving passwords is a bit more cumbersome than when on a desktop
  • when searching within the app there are times that the item does not pull up even when it is displayed as displayed - so you have to just look through your vault to find the application
With LastPass, you can finally get rid of the notebooks or spreadsheet where you are trying to keep all of your passwords safely. It is such an easy tool to use and will auto-generate secure passwords that are so much better than what you can come up with on your own. As long as it is not needed immediately, sharing access and information with others is very easy and keeps a list of who you have shared information with.

I use LastPass for Business in order to manage passwords for any service or product I signed up for. It's extremely handy when you have so many passwords, and it helps keep me organized. With what I do, I needed this product so I wouldn't have the daunting task of trying to remember all the passwords. I love that it updates any password changes with ease. In the event I do forget it, all I need to do is go to the LastPass portal, click on the "Launch" button to go to the website I need to go to, and it automatically logs me onto that site. When it comes to how often I use this software, I use it daily. I daily need LastPass to do tasks such as composing training, updating e-learning platforms, gathering online tools for consultation purposes, knowing any direct website sub-links, going on online portals to update any certifications needed, etc. There were a few times I forgot the main password to log in to LastPass for Business. Imagine that, lol. No problem. All I had to do was click on "Forgot Password," follow the easy resetting process, and I'm back in business right away.
  • The easy process of resetting passwords.
  • Unlimited storage of website information and their passwords arranged alphabetically.
  • The ability to click on the eye symbol to see the encrypted password.
  • It's been great so far. I don't have any complaints.
  • I believe LastPass for Business is doing any excellent job.
  • It's helpful not only in having everything alphabetized but additionally categorized, so I know where to go.
As previously mentioned, it's great for anyone small business owner like myself who has to visit many websites on a daily basis and who also has to have a password for just about every website. Gone are the days of having a paper backup; using LastPass for Business helps reduce the stress and busyness of my life. It's one of the automated online tools that I'm glad to provide me the option to export my information if I want to print a paper copy or save it on my computer. I'm happy I have the option to import information to be saved. I find LastPass for Business the best, and I haven't finished learning all the features yet. With the easy navigation of LastPass' website, the features aren't hard to learn, and video training is provided.

LastPass is a great way to store all of your usernames and passwords if you're frequently creating new accounts. LastPass has saved me from having to go back into my notebook and figure out what letters/numbers/symbols I used in the numerous amount of passwords I've had to create. It's great only having to remember one password to get into LastPass, and they remember the rest. Highly recommend!
  • Easy log in
  • Remembers all passwords
  • Quick autofill option
  • Feels safe and secure adding my passwords to this website
  • Remembering what the username is instead of having to fill it out
  • Having access across devices
Great for remembering passwords if you're in a hurry or just can't remember them. Easy autofill option, I never have a problem trying to find saved passwords within LastPass.

With owning a creative solutions company, I utilize a multitude of websites for images, programs, designing, social media, and much more. There is no way that I want to use the same password for each of the hundreds of websites I use each day and that is where LastPass has been a game-changer. It is perfect for storing logins, payment info, and for 2-factor authentication. The chrome extension makes it extremely easy to log in to the accounts with just a couple of clicks of the mouse. And the same goes for the app. It is very simple to use and uses face unlock to log into my apps.
  • Chrome extension for easy account login and for saving new account passwords.
  • 2-factor authentification.
  • Syncing between devices.
  • The biggest drawback is the price. It used to be free but not anymore and there are some other free password managers still out there.
I have tried a few different password managers and LastPass excelled at popping up on my phone when I need to log in. I have used other programs that I had to leave the app's login screen to open the password manager app and search for the app in order to receive my login details to be used on the original app I wanted to open in the first place. LastPass opens up my password info 99% of the time for the app I am using which saves the annoyance of opening LastPass to try to find the specific app login details. Where it falls a little short for me is that the free version used to include phone and desktop and now it is just one of those options. I use a variety of devices and having it on both my computer and phone is a must.

We use LastPass to help select users manage passwords for sites collecting critical personally identifiable information on employees and students. One of the primary issues we are seeking to control is using paper and unencrypted electronic files to manage passwords for such sites. Our concern is less with the compromise of our systems but rather protecting the personally identifiable information of our students and employees. The typical user might have 15 to 20 such critical passwords, and most are reporting using the product to handle routine password management for up to 100 other sites.
  • Protecting passwords and thereby protecting data.
  • Speeding up the login process at various sites for users.
  • Reducing password reuse.
  • Increasing likelihood of password changes on a routine schedule.
  • Some of the integration of the product is less than fully successful - less an issue with the software and more an operating system issue.
  • LastPass does not always play nicely with some programs/sites - this could be addressed in a more robust manner.
  • Remembering one central password is easier than a plethora of passwords, but we still need to remember one. Facial recognition could assist, especially for those whose computers do not have fingerprint scanners.
LastPass for Business is well suited for helping users manage passwords for the reporting sites they interact with on a regular basis. We maintain robust security for data we house, and so do the vendors and reporting agencies with whom we interact, but the weak point is the paper trail of passwords to access those sites. Such paper lists are insecure by nature, and they expose the institution to liability. LastPass for Business provides a simple, secure, and very viable alternative that addresses directly this security weak point.

I login into countless apps and gateways, LastPass makes it so much easier to manage what I log into and those that need to be shared with others. I was managing the passwords within my browser prior to LastPass, after a breach, we needed a solution. While it did take some time to get used to, the ability to share logins and manage users was completely worth the learning curve. I could not work without it at this point, LOVE IT!
  • When passwords are changed.
  • Managing the number of users that have access to a credential.
  • Browser plugin!
  • The app on my phone crashes often and can be buggy.
  • When using a generated (custom) password, I have to disable the alerts when using that same pass on multiple logins.
When having to manage multiple users for one login, so easy to share without having to provide the actual password. The plugins are extremely beneficial as well.

With a lot of software and accounts flying around today's modern businesses, it's critical to be able to securely access and keep log in information as simply as possible. Similarly, reducing the time our information technology experts have to spend helping our users manage, and recover passwords and account information.

We utilize it for shared accounts, and personal account managing. Keeping everyones information in one place truly does help us keep our information in line

LastPass is used by my entire team at work, including me. We currently use it to store usernames, passwords, API keys, etc for our website, client accounts. LastPass has been a game-changer for our organization. The application allows us to be more efficient when logging into websites. It also allows us to share credentials securely between our various teams, making the whole process more efficient. The application has been a lifesaver for us. As our team continues to grow, we are looking to expand our use of LastPass.
  • LastPass helps us to store a lot of passwords and credentials in one secure location, which makes it easy to keep track of is more secure than storing them on a file or sheet
  • It allows sharing credentials between users, making the process of sharing more secure and also great to store work-related credentials as well.
  • It has an easy to use interface that allows you to quickly login to sites and manage your passwords. This makes it easy for our team to use.
  • User Interface seems to be a bit outdated and needs improvement
  • There should be chat option to contact with the customer support for the issue resolution
The most common scenario for which we use LastPass for Business is when our employees are working remotely or traveling. As the name suggests, the primary purpose of this product is to help employees store and access their passwords securely and quickly. When we're away from our office, it's critical that our employees have access to the same information that they would if they were at work because it would be difficult to retrieve information if we lost our laptops or some other issues. We also use it to sync our personal accounts with our business accounts, so that our personal and professional information is accessible from anywhere.

We use LastPass [for Business], not only to save the myriad of passwords that the IT department must deal with, but we use it as a continuity enhancer to "backup" user credentials they may have applied but not documented. This covers us in the event another employee leaves suddenly. Even if there is some undocumented use, LastPass allows us to access this user's stored credentials and recover.

We have attempted to roll this out to the whole company, but some people are just stubborn, so we have kept it only in IT and Accounting.
  • We use LastPass [for Business] to share sensitive passwords amongst IT users (like admin accounts).
  • We use LastPass [for Business] to backup IT engineers' passwords for recovery if needed.
  • We store secure notes to manage sensitive information amongst the group.
  • Some web pages do not interact well with LastPass [for Business]. I sometimes have to resort to "cut and paste" the username and password from the browser plugin.
  • When multiple matches occur for an address, the plugin does not allow enough room to see them all; and scrolling this list is a pain.
  • It is annoying that the link to list the passwords often overlaps the content in the input field of the web page.
LastPass [for Business] can be used with neophytes as well as seasoned professionals in a business. In fact, it is much better (from a value perspective) for non-technical people to use than [...] professional IT people. It facilitates different and stronger passwords used for various systems.

Unfortunately, non-technical people get frustrated easily and sometimes do not seek out help with problems they experience. Nonetheless, the product, usage, philosophy of LastPass [for Business] is great.

LastPass for Business has been our lifesaver for any password-related requirement from password manager to SSO. We have certain sets of business subscriptions with Jira, LinkedIn Learning, Udemy, etc. which have to be shared in a controllable manner, and LastPass gives us the ability and platform to do so. Earlier, a manual process of the same was followed where we used to send the passwords via email and it became so tedious at some point, it was not in control. As our team was growing, we had to make a change to an efficient process, and being a long-time user of LastPass personally, I knew this is the only way to go.

  • The mobile app as well as Chrome plugin is buggy sometimes.
  • Sharing of passwords could be more seamless.
  • Identical logins and credentials.
For SSO, MFA, and password management, this is a great tool and saves a lot of hustle. I think there's no specific thing where LastPass for Business can't be used as this is a trusted and secure way of managing passwords. So I would say whenever there is anything related to passwords, LastPass for Business is the way to go.

LastPass for Business is a fantastic software solution for so many reasons! We use it because "too many tabs are open", and it's just exhausting having to always remember passwords, email addresses, accounts, and payment cards. It's vital for us to maintain lengthy passwords (20+ characters) and LastPass makes this so easy. My team can access the sites they need, when they need, without having to ask - and that's a massive load off my shoulders. It's secure, easy to use, and absolutely the most important tool in our arsenal. I wouldn't run a business, or a family, without it.
  • Autofill - it auto-fills your account details (and payment cards) with just one click. Incredible timesaver.
  • Password Generator - it creates unique and secure passwords automagically, one less thing to worry about.
  • Secure Notes - it has a place to store secure notes, like insurance policies, bank accounts, driver's license numbers/images, wi-fi passwords, database/servers, software licenses, etc.
  • Payment Cards - great for adding credit cards, personal and business, that you can use to fill in for online/mobile shopping. It's easily one of the best features!
  • Two-Factor Authentication
  • It doesn't always work. There are times, I will have to log in to the app, copy the login/pass, then go back to the previous website/app to input my details. It can be a little cumbersome and iffy. It sometimes works, sometimes doesn't, and I have yet to figure out why. It's not a deal-breaker, just takes a little more time. Still wouldn't be caught without it.
  • Sometimes buggy when searching for a certain login/pass when there are multiple saved accounts for that site.
For any business that needs/wants to save time and/or money, LastPass for Business is a necessity. It's a game-changer and will release the burden of having to remember so many important details, for you and your team. No more fear, concern, or anxiety about losing or forgetting - just a deep breath of fresh air, something that the business world needs, and something that is often overlooked or over complicated. It solves so many problems at once, with ease.

My family uses LastPass for the same reasons as above. I have access to my mom's LastPass account, meaning that all of their important details, accounts, and files are just a click away if something were to happen. There's security in that, and it just makes our life easier.

We have teams of people spread out around the world and some departments use the same tools that share the same password. LastPass for Business allows us to easily and securely create passwords that are being shared across departments. We established a process when creating a new credential that forces our team members to use the "auto-generated" password option within LastPass so we avoid any random "12345" less secure passwords.
  • Store password
  • Generate more secure passwords
  • Share passwords across departments
  • Chrome extension
  • Random log outs
  • Android app had issues
Well suited for:

  1. If you have a need to share passwords across departments, this will do the trick.
  2. Auto-generate password is great and convenient.
  3. Having access to all your stored passwords across multiple devices is awesome.
Not well suited for:
  1. Smaller companies could use Chrome password manager and they should be fine.
  2. The android app could use improvement.
